Since 1988 I’ve been writing and doing service for the Lord. It all began in 1987 after a personal walk began with the Lord. This personal walk with the Lord turned into extensive Bible studies; and later evolved into blogging in early 2000. At present I write, author, and publish several different sites on the Internet. This archive contains a vast library of Theological writings, teaching videos, and preaching audios by Hubert T. Lindsey - that currently goes around the globe... for the cause of Christ.

I am a contributor at Christian Blessings. I keep Holy Hubert Lindsey Facebook Group - revived. The Churches on Trial Blog at Google was the first Internet provider where the Holy Hubert Theological library was originally built . Holy Hubert YouTube videos are available, and we have free recorded sermons at Holy Hubert sermons . I pastor a Church called the Upper Room in Williamsburg, Ohio .

My secular Blog is called Southwestern Ohio Fishing where I write about experiences with my son Chad where Chad and Dad together enjoy Mother Nature’s beauty mixed with Father God’s creation. At Southwestern Ohio Fishing I also publish recipes for those who enjoy eating and cooking as much as this writer does.

"Holy" Hubert Lindsey...minister of the Spirit or Theologian?

The fascinating thing about Brother Lindsey's ministry was the fact that he taught the Bible with great depth...but he also ministered Christ to the hearts and souls of the listener. The power of Christ was behind Brother Lindsey's preaching and teaching and anyone who listened to his preaching would testify to such. Christ was always the center of his message. The ministration of the Spirit "worked" because Brother Lindsey preached and centered Christ in all his messages. On the street, on the radio, in the recording studio, inside the four walls of the local Church the work of Christ was always the central theme. Brother Lindsey didn't tell people what to do...he told them about the supremacy of Christ...and proved it with evidence from the Holy Scriptures.

Holy Hubert was also called the "Walking Bible "because of his God given ability to quote and teach the Holy Scriptures with great depth. Hubert Lindsey's Theology seemed unlimited. To many this would make Hubert Lindsey a Theologian...but Brother Lindsey was more than a Theologian because he ministered in the Spirit with love for humanity. Brother Lindsey was concerned about Christ meeting every need for every person that he ministered to. He cared about people enough that he pleaded Christ to every man for personal forgiveness. Brother Lindsey always made sure that his listeners understood personal forgiveness and the life of holiness and right living that followed the new birth.

Teaching Bible Theology was one thing...but ministering in the Spirit was another. Ministering in the Spirit is what "drove" Brother Lindsey's ministry. His Theology only confirmed the basis of his ministry and calling. His call and obedience to Christ is what allowed him to be such a minister. This writer was touched by that ministry and that's what compels me personally to write and carry on what Brother Lindsey started. Brother Lindsey's ministry touched many lives across this nation and the testimonies seem to be vast. As a matter of fact this writer learned what the "true Gospel" was from Brother Lindsey.

This writer will continue to magnify the Great Grace and truth of the Gospel that Brother Lindsey gave his life to preach, teach, and minister for 72 years. I find it honorable to the cause of Christ to keep Brother Lindsey's ministry alive ...even since Brother Lindsey went on the Heaven. I admit Brother Lindsey left us his Theology so we could learn to rightly divide the Scriptures. He also left us his example as a minister to see the human example of a true minister of the Spirit.

The ministry of the Spirit never ceases when Christ is centered in the message. If you have heard any of Brother Lindsey's preaching you understand what I mean. I had the privilege to tell Brother Lindsey personally that I would carry on his ministry every day of my life until I die. It was beautiful thing because it meant so much to Him. Glory to Christ because this ministry is centered around him! Glory to Christ who is more than theology! Glory to Christ who ministers in the Spirit in 2009. Don't forget to listen to some of Brother Lindsey's good Gospel preaching. When Brother Lindsey was alive during the late 80's God used him to record a series of teaching audios (included in a list below). Since Brother Lindsey passed away I have endeavored for 13 years to keep this ministry alive to the publicize Brother Lindsey's Spirit filled teachings.

In 1997-1999 I transposed these teachings from audio cassette and put them onto CD format. This gesture preserved the priceless teachings of Brother Hubert Lindsey which since has continued this ministry to continue up to date. In the last few years of technological leaps and bounds God has opened doors for this ministry to continue going out to people via Internet around the globe. In this process of ministering God's Word to the human family we have been able to upload most of these teachings via audio/video onto Google, Wordpress, Facebook, Youtube, and other social networks. God is behind this ministry as we are going places now!

Jesus is coming...William E. Blackstone

William E. Blackstone (1841-1935) would be the first to disclaim credit for any of his achievements. Blackstone wrote one of the most popular books on prophecy, simply entitled: Jesus Is Coming. Over 1 million copies have been printed since the book was first published, and it has been translated into at least 47 languages. Because of his humble nature, Blackstone would only use his initials W.E.B. as the author.

This book was referred to the writer of this Blog by Brother Lindsey in 1989. Contains a wealth of knowledge for the Bible student; and coincides with everything Brother Lindsey teaches.

This Simple system of Theology (in side-bar) is a God-given system that originally started with Brother Lindsey. It was developed to help people to learn the Bible. Having studied Brother Lindsey's ministry and Theology for over two decades God helped me to develop the system that is now posted at this site...for public ministry. Brother Lindsey "freely" published his material and his last request was to scatter it. I carry on that request today as God has opened doors around the globe. We are here to "scatter" the ministry that Brother Lindsey left behind. The System of Theology is being developed to assist preachers and  teachers to reach the world for Christ and to teach sound Bible Truth.

In the sidebar (on homepage) this Blog offers a "simple system of Theology" for you.  Each subject is taken from the Statement of Faith at our local Church at Williamsburg. These condensed and archived subjects are placed in systematic order to help others to learn the Bible easily through proper order and context. God gave me this system many years ago and has allowed me to write and publish this system via Internet over past few years.

God's Theocracy...Hubert T. Lindsey...(a systematic Theology)

Hubert Lindsey was a street preacher but he was also a great Theologian and Bible scholar with 74 years in the ministry. Brother Lindsey ministerd in the Spirit and not from human intellect or the wisdom of men. He taught Divine Wisdom and always kept Christ in the center of his teaching. You will find this 6 audio series very fascinating.

The following teaching on God's Theocracy on (6 audio players in sequence) contain one of the greatest systems of Theology I've ever encountered in my Christian walk in 24 years. These 6 different audio recordings break down the many ways God ministered to the human family, in creation, in the days of Adam, in the days of Noah, in the days of Abraham, at the giving of Law on Mt. The Genesis of Healing...(audio) Hubert T. Lindsey

This audio is the first of a six tape series... on the subject of Divine Healing. The Genesis of healing teaches and emphasizes the power of how Christ "restores" man with holiness, happiness and health like Adam had before the Fall. After the Fall...Restoration from God was given in the days of Adam, Abel, Noah, and Abraham. The Operation of God is the theme of Genesis. Restoration is the result of God's Divine favor upon man.

Three common prophesies about Christ in Genesis are...Christ, the seed of a woman...Gen. 3:15, Christ, the seed of Abraham who would bless all the families on Earth in Gen. 12: 8, and Christ the peacemaker...Gen. 49:10.

What the Bible teaches about...The Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven

During the years of the Churches on Trial other things for Christ were also taking place. In the midst of Hubert Lindsey’s life and experiences as the "Walking Bible" he was also an author of various books. One of the books he authored was an outstanding teaching on the subjects of the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven. This teaching consisted of a definitive teaching on the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven and how these subjects were both taught from the Old Testament, the four Gospels, and in the New Testament. Clarification on the distinction made between these two Kingdoms is taught very little today in the modern religious world. The Bible does however make a clear distinction between the two Kingdoms. Here’s how Brother Lindsey describes the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven.

• Kingdom of God…The operation of God that gives man a holy heart. God saves man from his sins; sanctifies him by the Spirit; and gives him a divine nature to live a holy life. A believer receives the Kingdom of God within. This inner work is an invisible and spiritual Kingdom where God reigns over man from His Throne in Heaven.
• Kingdom of Heaven…The operation of God that gives man the earth to rule and reign. This operation takes place when Christ comes back the second time. In order for any man to receive the Kingdom of Heaven he must first have the Kingdom of God in his heart. The Kingdom of Heaven is an earthly and physical Kingdom where Christ physically rules from His earthly Throne in Jerusalem. All men in the Kingdom of Heaven will have a divine nature.

During the 1980’s after Brother Lindsey was afflicted with blindness the Lunn family Laura and Tom, traveled with and cared for Brother Lindsey and his wife Phoebe. The two families traveled together and campaigned for Christ for approximately 11 years. In 1986 they moved to Detroit Mi. where a set of teaching books were in the process of being completed and published. With the help of Laura Lunn, Brother Lindsey put onto paper his revelation of the Kingdom Message and how this book applies to the truth of the Bible. Within the Kingdom Series (two volumes) a distinction was made between the two Kingdoms; The Kingdom of God being an invisible and spiritual Kingdom; and the Kingdom of Heaven being a visible, physical, and tangible Kingdom on Earth. Brother Lindsey felt that teaching books were necessary to clarify confusion that exists today concerning the misconception of how the two Kingdoms are viewed by the Church-world. A two volume set of books that clarified and brought understanding to the two Kingdoms taught in the Bible were bound and published in the 1980’s. The books were titled, “The Kingdom Series” and published by the Hebron Press in Hebron Ky. To this writers knowledge those books are not in publication at the time of this writing.

Hubert wrote the Kingdom Series books because he felt that right division of the Word of God on the subject of the Kingdom during Christ’s Earthly ministry was not being taught right in mainstream. Hubert warned of the detriment caused from wrongly dividing the Word of God concerning the Kingdom message given to Israel. He realized that misapplication of the Word of God was being applied to the Church today and tainting people’s faith by the thousands. Hubert preached how wrong division of God’s word caused people to become frustrated with their faith in Christ after years of failure and defeat from such wrongful teaching. He believed that erroneous teaching and false concepts that came from wrongly dividing God’s Word caused men to lose faith and their lifetime commitment to Christ. Hubert Lindsey’s Kingdom series books put light on the earthly teachings of Christ to Israel; why Christ taught the parables; and the millennial reign of Christ in His physical Kingdom of Heaven on Earth; and how the reign of Christ was rejected and postponed until the 1000 year reign.

At present this writer knows of only few men of God that teach the Kingdom Message derived from the four Gospels in that same context. One excellent source concerning the Kingdom teaching was written by a scholar in the late 1800’s by the name William E. Blackstone. Blackstone wrote the book, “Jesus is coming” which is used today as a textbook in the modern Church-world. Jesus is Coming is a book that Hubert Lindsey referred to this writer for personal study in 1990. Jesus is Coming is still in publication today and used in seminaries and theological schools across America. Very few teachers besides Hubert Lindsey and William E. The proper context of the four Gospels has its place. In proper context the four Gospels contain a wealth of knowledge for all students of God’s Word. When the four Gospels are taken out of context and spiritualized, the Bible gets mixed up and people’s faith in Christ becomes frustrated or falls apart over time. The four Gospels contain profound truth about the birth and life of Christ under the Law of Moses. Christ was born under Law, and taught the Law of Moses. The four Gospels relate to the Kingdom message presented to Israel so that God’s Kingdom on Earth could be restored as promised in the Old Testament. Unfortunately the Kingdom message was rejected by Israel during the ministry of Christ and postponed until the 1000 year reign of Christ at His second appearing. When Christ’s Kingdom message to Israel gets all mixed up with the teachings of Grace in the present Church, Biblical truth is mixed up and false concepts are birthed. Wrong division and spiritualization of the Word allows the imagination and opinions of man to run wild thus forming many false teachings.

The Kingdom Message to Israel is a necessary knowledge that builds faith in the promises of God. God’s Promises were given to Israel in the Old Testament. Faith built on the right division of God’s Word will never become frustrated or confused. When the Kingdom message given to Israel is applied to the Church today it’s very misleading. It takes away the right division of God’s Word to Israel and misapplies this teaching to the Church now. This is dangerous because the Bible gets mixed up! What gets mixed up is the truth of God’s Word given to Israel during Christ’s Earthly ministry. When Jesus’ teachings are misapplied to the Church today God’s Promises to Israel are robbed and false teachings become a result. This is very dangerous for any student’s faith in the Word of God. Shallow knowledge means shallow faith. Shallow faith allows people to fall away from Christ.

Hubert’s Kingdom series books and teachings on the Kingdom Message were written with unlimited detail. Hubert greatly clarifies the Kingdom message because of his scholarly understanding of the Law and commandments given to Israel. Hubert’s teaching on the Kingdom is also recorded on audiocassette and CD. The title of this audio series is called, “God’s Theocracy”. It’s a six volume set. God’s Theocracy series deals with (1.) God’s reign before Creation (2.) God’s reign at Creation, (3.) God’s reign during at the giving of Law, (4.) Christ’s Earthly ministry, (5.) God’s reign of Grace in this present Church Age, (6.)And future tense reign of Christ during the Millennium. I hope in due time to post links to these (6) audio teachings... on this Blog. Hubert’s teaching on the Kingdom Series hardly scratches the surface of what he did as a servant for Christ during seven decades in the ministry. This writer finds it rewarding to revive what Brother Lindsey did during those years. Hubert’s preaching and recordings are monumental for this confused generation of people mixed up because of false indoctrination. With gladness this writer states, “Hubert was a very committed minister and stood strong in his teachings and right division of God’s Word. He won a lot of people to Eternity because of the Gospel he preached and the clarity he offered on subjects like the Kingdom message.” Many times this writer heard Brother Lindsey state without hesitation, that he had led perhaps millions to salvation through Christ.

For 72 years Hubert scattered truth across this nation to countless men and women. His monumental teaching on “the Kingdom” is a subject that is a great asset to the Church-world. The Kingdom series on audio and in book form are tools that Brother Lindsey preserved and left behind for us. Hubert desired that all Christians have a well rounded understanding of the Bible. The books and audios that Hubert made are only a few of the many tools that allowed Brother Lindsey to grow people’s faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Hubert Lindsey advocated knowledge because he knew it made people better witnesses for the cause of Christ.

The Hubert Lindsey Foundation

During seven decades of service for Christ Hubert Lindsey accumulated a wealth of knowledge that was preserved and placed onto audio recordings and into textbooks. With great admiration for that work this writer has endeavored to carry on today what Brother Lindsey preserved throughout all 70+ years of his ministry. By the Grace of God this writer hopes to publicize the entirety of Hubert Lindsey’s Biblical archive. Brother Lindsey’s intent was to compile, preserve, and utilize Biblical knowledge for the furtherance of the Gospel of Christ. This writer once asked Brother Lindsey what the benefit to having Biblical knowledge was. Brother Lindsey stated, “To be a better witness for Christ. Take the knowledge you have and scatter it. Build others up in the faith. Help believers to be steady.” So, that’s the intention of this writer, his personal life in Christ, and this Blog. This writer’s expectations are to publish Brother Lindsey’s lifetime of knowledge in this Christian Blog across the World Wide Web. Brother Lindsey’s complete and preserved library is a wealth of knowledge for all students of the Bible anywhere in the world. Brother Lindsey’s teachings have formed into a systematic theology that can broaden the knowledge of any layman. It’s a developed system of theology that Brother Lindsey left behind that can be added to and built upon for a lifetime. This writer hopes to publish that Dispensation Chart on this Blog at a later date. The Chart systematically relates directly to all of Brother Lindsey’s audio teachings and preaching.

There are 2 ½ years of 2-hour radio broadcasts titled, “The Churches on Trial” that were made during Hubert’s eldership at the Church at Birmingham. Those recordings contain Biblical questions from the public and Biblical answers provided by Brother Lindsey that bring unlimited amounts of scriptural knowledge to light. There are 4 ½ years of recorded services from the Church at Birmingham where Brother Lindsey was Apostle and Pastor. As pastor and teacher at the Church at Birmingham Hubert recorded verse-by-verse commentaries from numerous books of the New Testament. Other audios include what Brother Lindsey preserved while evangelizing across the nation in the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s. Brother Lindsey’s recordings are very edifying to the body and all contain a wealth of knowledge that any student of the Bible can learn from and build upon for a lifetime!

Hubert’s memory allowed him to quote and expound on verses, chapters, and books of the Bible verbatim. At the Church of Birmingham where God set Hubert as an Apostle in 1987 Hubert was able to expound on Bible topics of great importance for people in that vicinity. Brother Lindsey brought clarity and enlightenment to many people in the Detroit Mi. area. All Church services were recorded and placed onto audio cassette. Many of the recordings made at the Church of Birmingham consisted of verse-by-verse studies of entire books and chapters of the Bible. At the end of each service Brother Lindsey would open for questions and answers. All answers were recorded for the edification of the saints. Those services were actually verse-by-verse commentaries on numerous books in the Bible. All the recordings contain unlimited amounts of Biblical knowledge and if studied in sequence they can layout a beautiful systematic theology that will build and fortify faith for a lifetime. At present Jim Denton a dear Brother in the Lord who resides in Waterford Mi. also preserves and publicizes Brother Lindsey’s expository teachings recorded at the Church at Birmingham. Both Jim Denton and I agree that all recordings of Hubert Lindsey should not be buried or hid away on a dusty shelf. Hubert wanted this stuff to go out into “all the world”. Wasn’t carrying the Gospel…Christ’s commission to all saints? What better place to publish than the World Wide Web?

Many other audios that were preserved are recordings that Brother Lindsey made on Prophetic truth while evangelizing in the late 70’s to the early 80’s. These recordings contain expository teaching and preaching. Among those are recordings such as End Time Prophecy in relation to Christ’s return in Divine Judgment, Christ’s return to set up the Kingdom promised to Israel, Daniels seventy week Prophecy, Ashes of a Red Heifer, The two types of Jew, the Rapture of the Church, a verse-by-verse teaching on the book of Revelation, and more.

There were complete commentaries recorded and publicized by Brother Lindsey from the Church at Birmingham such as Matthew, Ephesians, Corinthians, Hebrews, Revelation, etc. Many of these audios were converted from cassette to CD by this writer and are distributed presently by request. Jim Denton and this writer both continue what Brother Lindsey started at the Church at Birmingham. Hubert brought to light and preserved Biblical teachings on the Christian marriage, Water Baptism, Entire Sanctification, Christian perfection, Divine Healing, Church Government, etc. Among those recordings are also a two volume set of textbooks and an autobiography written by Brother Lindsey. These books were titled, The Kingdom Series (two volumes), and Bless your dirty heart.
