Biblical reconciliation

To be united to God through Christ takes place when all past sins are removed: Sin keeps man separated man from God. Holiness of heart unites man with God and begins at the new birth.

This operation is Biblically defined as reconciliation. All sins of the past are taken away. God no longer holds this man accountable for past deeds and conduct.

Salvation takes place. Justification takes place. Regeneration takes place.

A clean heart is given. A new life of holiness begins and is maintained by faith.

2 Cor. 5:18-19...And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them;

Reconciliation deals with the past and present life only. Man's future life is only determined by staying united with God in Christ, keeping the heart clean by the saving Grace of God, and remaining faithful to Christ...every minute, every hour, every day until you leave this world.

God's opinion - not man's

The God in Genesis 1:26 (Elohim) is a singular word plural in meaning...God said, "Let us create man in our own image"...implies more than (1).

As we study the Word more thoroughly we find God to be (3) distinct persons. The Father, The son, the Holy Spirit.

  • All (3) masculine in gender.
  • All (3) distinct personalities have different operations.
  • All (3) distinct personalities confirmed in the records of the Bible/Holy Scriptures

Genesis the first book of the Torah coincides with the other (4) books that make-up the Law of Moses. Torah - first five books in the Bible

Prophetic pictures of Jesus Christ were concealed in the records of the Torah - which Jesus actually declared to be the part of the true Gospel...Luke 24:44-49

The Holy Scriptures are fascinating! Truthful! Enjoyable to study when rightly divided

The God of the Bible - the Godhead - Determinate Council - are not limited or just singular in meaning. When the Bible says, "God said"...it becomes the opinion of God. Read it!

About Biblical Christianity

Acts 11:26…And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called “Christians first” in Antioch.

1 Peter 4:16-17…Yet if any man suffer as a “Christian”, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the “end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?”

Christians obey God. A Christian is a convert from unholiness of heart to holiness of heart by the resurrection power of Christ Jesus. The Grace of God that brings Salvation makes Christians out of sinners by the power of the Gospel message. The Gospel is the power of Salvation that “only” Christians experience (no other religion in the world) through faith and belief in the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ for personal forgiveness and holy living.

Christianity is not religion. Christianity is the result of a clean heart made clean by an exalted Christ. No religion in the world can clean the heart of man from sin. Only Christianity can cleanse the heart from sin. When the heart is cleansed from sin a moral conversion is made and thus a believer becomes a child of God or Christian. A Christian and child of God are one in the same.

Christianity is not based on Church membership, any type of Religion, Baptism, Tithing, or denomination setting. Christianity is strictly based on being made into a child of God by the new birth found in the Spirit of God. A Christian is born of the Spirit and delivered from inherited rebellion and a corrupt heart. Only Christ can deliver fallen man from moral corruption. No religious practice on planet earth is good enough to perform such operation. No religion on Earth can profess such great blessing!

Christianity came into existence when Christ purchased the Church with His own blood. Thank God for Christ our Savior and Redeemer in whom we have redemption even the forgiveness of sin. Ephesians 1:7, Colossians 1:14, Acts 13:38

My Blogs do not offer personal opinion or a secular position. My position on Christianity comes only from a Biblical perspective…mostly centered on the death, burial, resurrection, and exaltation of Jesus Christ.

In Christ we stand

Standing for what is right is the great quality of a Christian. Right comes from the Lord our righteousness and is imputed into the believing soul. The world says, "You can't". Jesus says, "you can".

Jer: 23:5-6...Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

  •  Original Word: יְהֹוָה Part of Speech:

How important is the Bible?

The Bible contains the only set of morals that will never change – no matter what part of the world you live in. If you live with Christ in your heart (anywhere in the world) – you will live up to the moral standard of God as it is written in the Bible. The morals of the Law and commandments were great. The morals of Grace and the New Testament are even greater. All is written in the Bible – showing the vast importance and authority of God’s Word for any human being on planet earth.

Bring honor to Christ

Christianity can be recognized globally when people “prove” the moral change of heart and give credit to a resurrected Christ. Jesus lives and abides within the believer. Never dishonor Christ or bring shame to His name. Magnify Christ – the God of your Salvation. Let your witness be faithful so Christianity will known and read of men. So glad to testify that Christ lives today! Honor His power! Honor His presence! Honor His work in you! Love you all! God Bless!

Are we accountable to God for our dreams?

No.

Christians are not accountable to God for what they dream. Here’s why. Perhaps a lustful thought runs through your mind while you are sleeping. Perhaps you dream something you feel is not right in the eyes of God. What does God think about your dreams. The Bible clearly answers that question.

Hebrews 4:12…The Word of God…is the discerner of the thoughts and intents of your heart.

In other words God knows the difference between your thoughts and your intents. In a dream there is no intention. Dreams are unwilling thoughts. The Word of God distinguishes the difference.

Benefits of the child of God

The child of God has a position in life. As a matter of fact its the highest position in life any man can ever get. The Bible describes such position as follows:
  • Ephesians 2:6...And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
The reason the child of God has this position is because God's Holy Spirit gives the believer God's seal of approval:
  • Ephesians 1:13...In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise
The sanctified child of God has a God given title. The title is Brethren. For this cause of Christ God is not ashamed to call them brethren:
  • Hebrews 3:11...For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
Any child of God can hold a Christian office. Christian offices are many. Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, deacons, ministers, evangelists, helps, etc.

A child of God has the full assurance of hope. Hope the unsaved can never experience.
  • Colossians 1:5-6..For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;  Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit,
Any child of God has a guarantee of a contented life in this life; and a free pass to Heaven "if" they stay within the guidelines of right-standing with God.

Simple truth. Simple Christianity. All inclusive for the child of God.

What Christians are not

  • Christians are not liars
  • Christians are not cheaters
  • Christians are not drinkers of alcohol or strong drink
  • Christians are not unrighteous
  • Christians are not unholy
  • Christians are not stealers
  • Christians are not any single denomination
  • Christians are not unbelievers
  • Christians are not proud
  • Christians are not haters of men
  • Christians are not homosexual
  • Christians are not adulterers or fornicators
  • Christians are not sinners

Can a Christian commit any of these above acts? Yes. Is He still a Christian if he does? No. Here’s why.

A truthful man can lie…but if he lies he is no longer a truthful man. An honest man can steal…but if he steals he is no longer an honest man. A sober man can drink strong drink or alcohol…but if he drinks strong drink he is no longer sober. The same goes for a Christian. A Christian can sin…but if he sins against God he is no longer a Christian. Christians are not sinners. Christians are not children of the Devil. Christians are children of God and born of the Spirit. Christians are holy and live right because they are “new creations” created by Christ Jesus. Christians do have and advocate for sin.

“If” Christians do sin they can confess their sins and God will pardon, forgive, and cleanse…again…but the fact of the matter is Christians don’t have to sin. They have God-given power to live and do right…All they need is to be taught right. Christians are not religious sinners or part time believers. The Bible doesn’t condone Christian’s to sin. The Bible condemns sin and so does Christ. Christians shouldn’t sin against God. Christians are saints of God born of the Spirit of God. A Christian is not ruled by sin…but by the power of Divine Grace. Grace is greater than sin. Christians are saved by Grace. Christians obey God because the power of God is greater than sin. Christians are not ashamed in the eyes of God. The heart is made clean and redeemed by the precious blood of Christ. Christians do things pleasing to God. Christians obey God. Christians are morally changed by God’s Grace. Let judgment begin with you…because Christians are not what man determines.

Christianity is determined by your faith in Christ and God’s operation upon the human soul.

1 Peter 4:16-18…if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

Grace prevails freely through faith in Jesus Christ

Man doesn't struggle to have the Grace of God. Grace doesn't come by human works. Grace is the operation of the power of God's Salvation in the human soul. Grace makes men the workmanship of God not by human works but by the finished work of Christ that flows from Calvary. Men do not struggle to obtain Grace. Grace is freely given because of your personal belief and acceptance of Christ as Lord and Savior. Under law men struggled! Under Grace men receive the blessing of Christianity..."freely".

Rom 8:32...He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

1 Cor 2:12...Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

The flesh - from a Biblical perspective

Romans 8:9...But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his

The word "flesh" in the Bible relates to the physical part of man that is controlled by the Adamic Nature. The reason Paul states "you are not in the flesh" simply implies that a Spirit filled man is no longer controlled by the Adamic Nature.

Biblical conclusion about the Devil - We win

After many years of walking with the Lord and extensive Bible study...I've concluded.
The Devil lost! It is written! Read it!
Christ is greater. We have victory in Jesus!
From Genesis to Revelation you will see...The Devil lost! Written by a winner who used to be a loser. Jesus made me a winner! I know with certainty , "The Devil lost". "We win".

Christ the Judge - according to God's plan of the Kingdom on Earth

2 Timothy 4:1...I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom
  • His appearing as King and Judge? At the end of the Tribulation.
  • His Kingdom in Jerusalem? At the end  of  the Tribulation.
  • The quick? Those who accept the King and are judged worthy to enter into the Kingdom on Earth.
  • The dead? Those who rejected Christ "during the Tribulation and after the Rapture of the Church". Not deemed worthy to enter into the Kingdom in Jerusalem.
At that time - when Christ separates the goat nations and the sheep nations and establishes His Kingdom on Earth: all will stand before the Judgment seat of Christ.

Matthew 25:34-41...Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: - Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

Earthly Kingdom postoned - Christ coming to Judge Israel - Lukes Gospel 17:25-37

In the closing of the earthly ministry of Christ - Jesus elaborated on His future coming in Divine Judgment. Comparisons were made with Noah's flood, Lot's wife, Sodom and Gomorrah, one taken and one left in the field.

Luke's Gospel made the subject of Judgment clear.

Luke 17: 25-37...
  • But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.
  • And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
  • Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
  • Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
  • Remember Lot's wife.
  • Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
  • I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
  • And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.
When Christ comes back the second time (to restore the Kingdom that was postponed) He does not come as a gentle lamb. He comes with fierce wrath and Divine Judgment taking vengeance upon those who obeyed not the Gospel. Fire from Heaven (like Sodom and Gomorrah) will purge and sanctify the earth. The Divine Judgment of Christ will purge humanity. Many unbelieving souls will be taken into perdition. Physical death according to God's Divine Judgment upon unbelievers will occur within the masses. Many are taken into condemnation and death - others are left behind to enter into the Promised Kingdom. Human carcasses will lay upon the earth under circling scavenging birds of the air.

The picture of Christ as a Divine Judge is the prelude to establishing the Promised Kingdom on Earth. The Kingdom postponed in Christ's day - will thus take effect at the Divine Judgment of Christ (at the end of the seven year Tribulation). After Judgment - all humanity at that time will accept Christ as Messiah and be sanctified. The Promised Kingdom will be established for the first time - since it's postponement during the earthly ministry of Christ. As Jesus prayed in the Lord's prayer - Thy will be done on Earth - as it is in Heaven.

Matthew 25 mentions of the Son of man, the Bridegroom, the King, and the Judge. In Luke 17 - Christ the Judge is prevalent.

The coming of the Son of man - (not the Rapture)

The coming of the Son of man taught in Matthew's Gospel does not imply the Rapture of the Church as many think. This coming of the Son of man implies the return of Christ in Divine Judgment which in turn will restore the Promised Kingdom in Israel. At that time (in Divine Judgment) the Kingdom will begin in Israel - as prophesied.  A physical Christ will return with all the saints to rule and reign on a physical and earthly throne in Jerusalem. A Judgment will condemn those who reject the Messiahship of Christ. A fierce wrath will take place. So often the following passage is taken out of context and applied to the Church when actually it implies strictly to the restoration of the Kingdom in Israel.

Here's why:

Matthew 24:16-20...Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:  Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day

About the one left standing - not to mixed up with the Rapture?

Matthew 24: 36-41...But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.  But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.  For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Those who are taken by God -  will be condemned into Eternal Judgment. The accepters of Christ (people left standing) will remain; the rejecters of Christ will be cast into outer darkness.

Matthew 25:30...And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Revelation 20:5...But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.

2 Thessalonians 1:6...when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

In the days of Noah - Noah preached for 120 years. Only 8 souls got into the ark. Noah preached and people were nonchalant about the coming of the flood. A fierceness and wrath of an Almighty God took the rest of humanity away in the waters of the flood. So shall the coming of the Son of  man be another Divine Judgment. That very Judgment will take place when the Son of  Man steps down on the Mount of Olives - after His fire has purged the Earth - unlike the days of Noah when God's Judgment came by water.

"In the Rapture - Christ calls the Church up to escape Judgment on Earth. In the coming of the Son of man the Church returns with Christ; and Christ with all His saints - step down on the mount of Olives - bringing Divine Judgment to Earth".

Chronological order of the Rapture, seven year Tribulation, and the beginning of the reign of the Antichrist.

  • 1 Thessalonians 5:9…God has not appointed us (the Church) to wrath…God’s Wrath begins after the Rapture - where the church escapes wrath and Judgment. When the Church goes up - the beginning of the seven year Tribulation begins under the reign of the Anti-Christ.
  • 1 Thessalonians 5:3…After the Rapture of the Church in context…For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

  • That peace treaty (a covenant made by the Antichrist) will be between the Arabs and the Jew…they shall not escape Tribulation and destruction under the reign of the Anti-Christ for seven years.

  • Daniel 9:26…“ The Antichrist will confirm a peace treaty with many nations for a ‘seven’- year period. He will confirm a covenant with those who believe not. After the Rapture where the Church is called up…there will be no believer’s on earth.

  • "He" is the Anti-Christ…The people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end of it {thereof} shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week

  • 1 week is the equivalent to 7 years according to Daniel’s seventieth week prophecy. Seven years - three score and two weeks – 483 years – have passed. The final week (the 70th week) equates to seven years where the Antichrist begins his reign - because the Church is taken out. Reason? God’s Holy Spirit is no longer a withholder of the Antichrist.

  • 2 Thessalonians 2:6… And now ye know what withholdeth (God’s Spirit) that he (the Antichrist) might be revealed in his time

  • 2 Thessalonians 2:7…The Holy Spirit…only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. The Holy Spirit allows the Church and Gods mercy to continue until the Rapture. After the Church is taken out of the way…the Anti-Christ steps in

  • 2 Thessalonians 2:8-10…The Anti-Christ…And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

  • In the middle of the seven year period, The Antichrist will break the covenant…and will put an end to the Jewish Old Testament sacrifice and offering

  • Daniel 9:27… and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate,

We preach against - human rebellion

The sin of human rebellion is inherited and found inside the adamic nature.
Rebellion is lawlessness concerning the will of God. Unsaved men are violators of God’s Law without choice.
“Even though man chooses to do right – God does not see man as right unless the rebellious nature is broken and righteousness from Christ comes into the human soul.”
Rebellion cannot be forgiven. Rebellion must be broken by the power of God’s Holy Spirit. Natural rebellion can give the attitude of self righteousness, but in the eyes of God self righteousness has no merit. Rebellion is an inherited bondage that all men must be delivered from – in order to find God given righteousness.
“Deliverance – not forgiveness is God’s way of liberating a believer in Christ from inherited human rebellion.”
This deliverance I speak of is a deliverance from Jesus Christ who “frees” the sinner from inherited natural rebellion. Deliverance is the power of a living Christ that morally changes the rebel against God – into a man submitted to the will of Christ. A morally changed man will recognize and appreciate this deliverance.  The guilty conscience will no longer have dominion and forgiveness form all past sins will be found. Pardon from God will ring true to the heart and thinking. Obedience to God will be the outflow of  the delivered man’s new nature. Peace will take over the whole man. Rebellion will be gone.
All glory to Jesus Christ who “delivers” man from human rebellion – and blesses him with a life of true Christianity. Deliverance from human rebellion cannot be found in religion. Only the work of the Holy Spirit can “break” human rebellion.
“The Grace of God that brings Salvation keeps the Holy Spirit present in the life of a believer in Christ.”

What God sees

“Even though unsaved man chooses to do right – God does not see man as right unless the rebellious nature is broken and righteousness from Christ comes into the human soul.”

Those who are "perfect"...from the Greek text

The word perfect is to be examined closely in this text. Applicable today.

Corinthians 2:6,7...Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory

Strong's Concordance

teleios: having reached its end, i.e. complete, by ext. perfect Original Word: τέλειος, α, ον Part of Speech: Adjective Transliteration: teleios Phonetic Spelling: (tel'-i-os) Short Definition: perfect, full-grown Definition: perfect, (a) complete in all its parts, (b) full grown, of full age, (c) specially of the completeness of Christian character.

HELPS Word-studies

Cognate: 5046 téleios (an adjective, derived from 5056 /télos, "consummated goal") – mature (consummated) from going through the necessary stages to reach the end-goal, i.e. developed into a consummating completion by fulfilling the necessary process (spiritual journey). See 5056 (telos).

Sin doesn't live here anymore

The hearts of angels cry, “Holy, holy, holy Lord God Almighty”. The hearts of believers in Christ can cry, “Sin doesn’t live here anymore”. Why? God remembers a believer’s past sins no more. All the sins from the past life are thrown away as far as the east is from the west. Salvation and Redemption of the human soul is the picture here. Forgiveness granted from the shed blood of a Savior is found, touched, and experienced by the believing heart. A new creation in Christ is made by God! With an attitude and character that can proclaim with gladness, “Sin doesn’t live here anymore”.

The precious blood of Christ was shed so fallen man could be delivered from all his past sins. The precious blood of Christ is what makes the heart of a believer in Christ clean and holy in the present life. Sin stains from the past are washed away. Clean enough that a believer in Christ can gladly say, “Sin doesn’t live here anymore”. Holy enough that a believer in Christ knows that Salvation of the human soul is God breathed, God made, and God created in the believing heart. God made the new creation in Christ so the believer could “quit” his meanness and wrongdoing. This believing heart and character (that experiences the power of God) can boldly say, “Sin doesn’t live here anymore”.

This type of confession is made from the Holy Spirit’s witness placed in the heart of a believer in Christ. This type of profession is made because the unholy heart of a sinful man is made holy by the power of God’s Grace. The believer in Christ is no longer a sinful man but holy in the eyes of God. The holy confession and holy profession of a believer in Christ are experienced and lived outwardly in this present life. The believer in Christ is led by the Holy Spirit of God, not the unholy sinful nature. Sensuality and dirty living are no longer in control since Christ came in! The lusts of the flesh are not longer in control since Christ came in. The lusts of the eyes are no longer in control since Christ came in. The pride of life no longer rules the believing heart since Christ came in. God takes over His children who are born of the Spirit of God. It’s called Redemption! It’s called Salvation of the human soul! Simple as that!

Jesus Christ came into the believing heart to take away the sins of fallen man and He does just that. Jesus takes away the past sins of the unbeliever so much that holiness of heart and character are produced in the present life of a believer. So much that a believer can thankfully shout, “Sin doesn’t live here anymore”. The precious blood of Christ was shed at Calvary to cleanse and wash away fallen man’s personal sin stains. Every sin from the past life where sin and disobedience ruled that unbelieving heart. The precious blood of Christ restores the believing heart to a holy state of being in this present life. Glory! So great is Salvation and Redemption of the human soul through the person of Christ. Salvation, not to be taken lightly! Redemption, not to be used as an excuse to sin! Salvation and Redemption not to be considered as covering for future sins! Christianity is a present tense walk with God in the Spirit and in holiness of conduct because sin doesn’t live there anymore.

Remember the words of some unknown holiness preacher in Williamsburg, Ohio. Who gladly and joyfully proclaims this message around the globe for Jesus, “By the shed blood of Jesus Christ my personal Lord and Savior, sin doesn’t live here anymore”.

The Lord adds...

When the Gospel is preached...things happen!

Acts 2 - Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls...obviously the Spirit puts men into Christ...three thousand in one day. What an operation! ...and the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

What happens when you die?

At the time of death – the human physical body goes to the grave, burial vault, cremation, etc.

At the time of death the soul/spirit instantaneously goes to the eternal abode of the dead. The abode of the dead is Biblical place known as Abraham’s Bosom or Paradise found in the words of the Holy Scripture. To be more precise – Sheol is an eternal place in the Hebrew text of the Old Testament records. Hades is an eternal place in the Greek text found in the (4) Gospels and New Testament records.

The eternal abode of the dead is the unseen world for the righteous and the unrighteous souls – which God determines upon the soul of every man – in this life before death to the physical body.  The Holy Scriptures of the Bible term this unseen world as Heaven or Hell. Both places eternally exist for the righteous Judgment of the souls of men. Righteous Judgment is made by God Almighty as a determination for man’s belief or unbelief of God, the creator of all things – in this present life.

Hebrews 9:27…And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

The prophetic picture of a resurrected Christ (taken from the book of Psalms)

Psalm 16:9-11...Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

This prophecy about the promised Messiah and His resurrection from the grave. It was  foretold and written by David in the book of Psalms. God made this prophetic statement through David and described how the physical body of Christ "would not" see corruption as David's physical body would in death to the physical. In this prophecy the miracle of a Savior was foretold.  At the time of death David's body was placed in the sepulchre (the grave) and still remains there. At the time of death Christ's body was placed in a tomb...but was miraculously "changed" or "glorified" in the miracle of a resurrection. Christ's body did not see corruption (after death) nor does Christ's body remain in a tomb at present.

Psalm 16:10...For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

David's prophetic utterance in Psalms 16:10 about, "Leaving the soul in Hell"...is a Biblical description of the "unseen world" or the "spiritual abode of the dead". Souls of just and unjust men will go to the unseen world (the abode of the dead) when their physical body is laid in the grave. In the Old Testament records the unseen world and abode of the dead was known as Abraham's Bosom. Abraham's bosom was defined by Christ in Luke 16 - as place of comfort; and a place of torment. Lazurus and the rich man both went to Abraham's Bosom and could see each other but could not cross the great gulf between both places. Paradise (which is Heaven) and Hades (which is Hell) are both places inside of Abraham's Bosom.

"Psalm 16:10... concerning the resurrection of Christ was preached by the Apostle Peter in Acts 2, and also by the Apostle Paul in Acts 13. Both Apostles pointed the fact that Christ "rose" from the grave in a bodily resurrection. The body of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was resurrected and did not experience decay or corruption like David's body experienced."

The miracle of the death, burial, and resurrection of the the Holy One (Christ) fulfilled David's prophecy of Psalm 16:9-11.

Here are three other prophecies about the resurrection of Israel's promised Messiah. All prophecies of a resurrected Lord were foretold and recorded  by King David in the book of Psalms.

Psalm 2:7...I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

Psalm 110:1...The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Psalm 132: 11...The LORD hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.

The King - the Messiah - the Christ

As foretold by the Prophet to Israel...behold, thy King cometh unto thee

Zechariah 9:9...Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: : he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

Luke 19:38...Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest

Much to be said in the above verse that Luke recorded about Jesus' entry into Jerusalem on a donkey. The main point? Luke recognized Jesus as the Messiah and King of Israel. So did a few of the people in Israel!

Traditional Palm Sunday was derived from this event of Jesus entering Jerusalem on a donkey... but the point was, "Christ was the promised Messiah and King of Israel".  Jesus' entry into Jerusalem on a donkey was the fulfillment of Zechariah's prophecy! The earthly King had come! Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord. The Kingdom was offered. The King had come. The King entered the city as promised...but the nation of Israel as a whole rejected their promised Messiah.

Jesus wept over the city and stated according to Luke...

Luke 19: 41-44...when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.

Israel as a whole didn't recognize the King - the Messiah - the Christ. Israel was backslidden. Israel was not keeping the Torah or obeying the Law of God. Their hearts were unholy and as a whole they were unable to recognize the King - the Messiah - the Christ. They rejected the Christ.

John 1:11...He came unto his own, and his own received him not

The King came but the earthly Kingdom was not restored! The earthly King went to the cross only to become a heavenly King. Thy promised Kingdom will come when the Heavenly King comes a second time. At that visitation He will have all His saints with Him. This writer will be there.

1 Thessalonians 3:13... To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.

Jesus paid the price

I was inspired today by a lady from California who was touched by Christ and deterred from Buddhism some 40 years ago.  She mentioned it was through Holy Hubert who told her about the price that Jesus Christ paid.

Today on the way to work I pondered that very price that Jesus paid in his suffering and bitter death of crucifixion. In the midst of it all I think of the public spectacle and the mocking that came forth before the crucifixion.

I think of the intent of His heart without hate or anger. The motive to give himself to die a horrible death without retaliation toward those who hurt, mocked, and bruised him. There was innocence without the guilt of sin.

God required the death of His son to redeem fallen man from rebellion and sin. The price was death by crucifixion. Jesus paid the price by giving himself as a lamb before the slaughter. The mental anguish. Distraught by human emotion without bitterness or envy toward those who decided beating, punishment, and public humiliation.

What a price Jesus paid! The offering of himself to Roman punishment. The offering of himself to Jewish hatred and animosity toward a man born in a manger who claimed Messiahship at the age of 30.

Much went on in God's plan for sinful man concerning the price that was paid. A price unto God Almighty for the redemption of fallen man. "Thank you Jesus", for giving this writer a way of escape from sin, rebellion, and disobedience to God...28 years ago. Thank you for allowing me to hear and be inspired by Mary's testimony. Thank you for re-kindling the fire of faith in my heart. Thank you for the best life anyone can have on this side of Heaven
