God's opinion - not man's

The God in Genesis 1:26 (Elohim) is a singular word plural in meaning...God said, "Let us create man in our own image"...implies more than (1).

As we study the Word more thoroughly we find God to be (3) distinct persons. The Father, The son, the Holy Spirit.

  • All (3) masculine in gender.
  • All (3) distinct personalities have different operations.
  • All (3) distinct personalities confirmed in the records of the Bible/Holy Scriptures

Genesis the first book of the Torah coincides with the other (4) books that make-up the Law of Moses. Torah - first five books in the Bible

Prophetic pictures of Jesus Christ were concealed in the records of the Torah - which Jesus actually declared to be the part of the true Gospel...Luke 24:44-49

The Holy Scriptures are fascinating! Truthful! Enjoyable to study when rightly divided

The God of the Bible - the Godhead - Determinate Council - are not limited or just singular in meaning. When the Bible says, "God said"...it becomes the opinion of God. Read it!

God of the Bible

The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost. Three distinct personalities. All male in gender. All documented within the plan of God, since the Fall of Adam. All members of the Divine Godhead. All recorded with firm evidence in the words of the Bible (Old and New Testament).

A description of God simplified

The Bible is clear that God is (1) entity. Three distinct personalities - The Father, Jesus; the Holy Spirit.  To bring more clarity on God let me give you a few illustrations about singular words that have plural meanings.
  • The body of Christ is (1) body yet has many members. 1 Corinthians 12
  • A husband and wife are joined together in matrimony to become (1) flesh yet there are (2) people involved. Ephesians 5:31
  • An ice cube, steam, and water are all (1) substance  in (3) different forms - H2O.
  • The egg white, the egg yolk, and the shell all (1) egg in (3) different forms.
  • God said, "Let us make man in our own image" (1) God plural in meaning. Genesis 1:26
This great truth brings light to the subject of God in three distinct persons. The Bible is a beautiful textbook that teaches man to understand God, Christ, and the marvelous presence of the Holy Spirit who Jesus himself addressed as, "He".

John 16: 13-14...Howbeit when :"he", the Spirit of truth, is come, "he" will guide you into all truth: for "he" shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever "he" shall hear, that shall "he" speak: and "he" will shew you things to come. "He" shall glorify me: for "he" shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

Who is the Determinate Counsel that brings forth the foreknowledge of God?

Acts 2:23...Him, being delivered by the "determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God", ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

The Determinate Counsel of God is God the Father, God the son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three in unison foreknew what was necessary to make man holy in the presence of God.

If you go back to the days of the crucifixion you will find that Christ was delivered (by the Jewish Counsel)...over to the Imperial power of the Roman government (to be crucified)because the Jews had no legal right to put a man to death. The reason the Jews had no legal right to put a man to death is because they had to be subject to Roman Law...or be guilty of insurrection. In the very fact that Israel "lost" their authority to put a criminal to death a "fulfillment" of prophecy transpired. How? The Scepter or the authority of the Jew under Mosaic Law was not legally allowed to be executed under Roman Law. Why? Shiloh came! Shiloh was Christ! Shiloh was the Promised Messiah!

Gen 49:10...The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come;

The Romans (Pontius Pilate) found no fault with Christ.

Luke 23:44... Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this man.

The reason Pilate found no fault is because Christ was innocent and without guilt.

All that said to say this one thing, "Neither Jew nor Roman could find fault or guilt with Jesus because he was innocent!"

The "determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God", (God in three persons) decided that an innocent Christ be chastised and slain for sins of humanity. God doesn't forgive your sins because you need it! God forgives your sins because Christ was innocent and without guilt.

Isa 53:10... Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him

This very foreknowledge (spoken by Peter)was pre-planned and pre-determined by the determinate counsel of God through Christ...the lamb of God slain from the foundation of the World.

Rev 13:8...And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
