Why did Jesus forbid the disciples to preach the "Kingdom of Heaven" message to the Gentiles and Samaritans?

Matt 10:5-8...These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Matt 15:22-27... And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us. But he answered and said, "I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel".

Mark 7:27...The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter.

John 1:11...He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

John 4:22...for salvation is of the Jews

In order to understand why Jesus forbade the Kingdom of Heaven message to be preached to the Gentiles and Samaritans you have to understand who the Old Testament was written to. You have to understand that Old Testament Promises were given to the Hebrew nation and to the nation of Israel. The Gentiles knew nothing about the Levitical Priesthood , the Law of Moses given on Mt. Sinai, or the Prophets of Old who were given God's Promises.

The Old Testament contains hundreds of prophecies that pertain to the establishment of God's Kingdom on Earth...but the Gentiles however; knew nothing of these promises given to Israel.

The Samaritans had Jewish blood by descent but were set aside by God because they broke their covenant relationship with God as a result of Babylonian religious persuasion. They blended pagan religion with Jewish worship of Jehovah...thus they were put out of covenant relationship with Jehovah during the Babylonian captivity.

Gentiles were considered "dogs" in the Old Testament. Even Jesus recognized Gentiles to be "dogs".

Mark 7:27... But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs.

The Kingdom of Heaven (Heaven on Earth) was promised to the Jew. All Jews knew about the Promise of the Messiah given in Old Testament records. What did Gentiles know about God's Promises given to Israel? Nothing.

Here's the Apostle Paul's description of the Gentiles from the New Testament records.

Eph 2:12...That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

That's the Biblical explanation of why Jesus openly forbade the disciples to take the Kingdom message to the Gentiles.

More about what the Bible says about the, "Anti-Christ"

Tribulations that we encounter in the Church now; and the Anti-Christ's in the world now... are not and do not have the magnitude of the "Great Tribulation" taught in the Holy Scriptures. The "Man of sin" or "son of perdition" promised to come upon Israel after the Rapture of the Church the Bible speaks of... is the Anti-Christ. The Rapture of the Church is God's Testimony to the Jew about the Great Tribulation promised to come in Old Testament prophesies. The Rapture of the Church is Christ's deliverance of the body of Christ from this Great Tribulation... from the wrath of God... from the establishment Satan's Kingdom... and from him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders...the Anti Christ. This man of sin was prophesied by the prophet Daniel ...and also called the "Little Horn" in Daniel 7:8.

The Prophet Daniel described the "Little Horn" as the one who would speak great words against the most High (Daniel 7:8, 7:25). According to John's Revelation the Anti-Christ (the Little Horn) is birthed out of the Beast which is a Gentile Kingdom likened unto the Babylonian, Medo-Persian, Grecian, and Roman Empires. The Forth beast mentioned in Daniel had ten horns (ten Kings)...and another horn the, “Little Horn” that rose out of that Beast (Daniel 7:1-8). John's Revelation describes this Beast as a One World Gentile Government ruled and controlled by Satan who reigns in direct opposition to Israel during the Great Tribulation. Remember, the Church is gone! God's mercy is gone! The Holy Spirit within the body of Christ is gone! Satan (the deceiver) has his rule on Earth for a short season. During Satan's reign after the Church is taken out... the Anti Christ will turn the Gentile World against the Jew unlike anything man has ever known...

Rev 12:13..And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

Luke 21:24...and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

This Gentile fulfillment will take place when all nations gather together to battle against Israel at Armageddon.

Old Testament prophecy that confirms such truth points to the Prophet Daniel. Daniel had a vision and prophecy of the 70 weeks (posted last week). All 70 weeks were directly determined by God upon Israel "thy people" and not the Church. The Church was never prophesied. Note "thy people" and "thy holy city" Jerusalem, the command to restore the wall, etc. all had prophetic relation to Israel only. This included the (One Week) or seven years that ended Daniels 70 week Prophecy. The 70 week prophecy referred to Judgment and restoration for Israel.

New Testament records point to John's Revelation. John's Revelation confirms many of Daniels prophecies. John's Revelation confirms that the Beast Kingdom is birthed when Christ opens the seals in (Rev 6:1). This work of Christ takes place during the Tribulation after the Rapture where John is taken up hither in (Rev: 4). The seals are the ministering of Christ's wrath and Judgment promised to come upon the nation of Israel in many Old Testament Prophecies of the Gospel. Within the seven year Jewish Tribulation the Anti-Christ (The Little Horn) will come out of the Beast according to Daniel and Johns Revelation.

Rev 13:5...And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

Confirmed in Daniel 7:8, 7:25. This takes place in the first 42 months of the Tribulation (a Jewish Tribulation) as God gathers His elect from the earth (after the Rapture). During the "Great Tribulation" - the second 42 month period (Rev. 11-19) a remnant (the Jew that halted will accept Christ as Messiah).

Mic 4:6...In that day, saith the LORD, will I assemble her that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted

Ultimately God's purpose for Tribulation and Wrath after the Rapture of the Church is to gather and sway His chosen people (Israel) to the Messiahship of Christ ...to renovate and restore the Earth, and to pour out His Spirit as promised in...

Ezekiel 37:13-14...And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves, And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.

The Anti-Christ was spoken of by the Apostle Paul as the man of sin, and the son of perdition...

2 Thess. 2:9...Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

The Anti-Christ deceives those who perish. Who are those who perish? Those who perish are those who disobeyed the Gospel, rejected Christ, an did not make the Rapture of the Church. They did not make the Rapture because they received not the love of the truth. They rejected Christ. Peter describes this crowd as scoffers who were "willingly" ignorant and...

2 Peter 3:9...those who were slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward,( the Church) not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Who is Peter making reference to? The Church. Peter recognized God's mercy and the refuge found in the Church, the body of Christ, was the only thing that would save man from perishing...after the Church is caught up to meet with Christ in the air.

2 Peter 3:10...But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Before the "day of the Lord in Divine Judgment" there is a seven year Jewish Tribulation where the Anti-Christ has reigned for seven years under the dominion of Satan. On the Day of the Lord Christ will destroy the Anti-Christ with the brightness of His coming.

2 Thess 2:8...And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

At that time a renovation and restoration takes place, first in Jerusalem where Christ will be physically seated on His Throne in the Kingdom of Heaven. Peter, John, and Paul were knowledgeable men concerning God's Promised Kingdom for Israel. They were enlightened to Old Testament records that included Daniel' s dream, his vision and his prophecy of Tribulation and the Little Horn that rises from the Beast.

Rev 13:1...And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns

The ten horns also referred to the 10 toes of Nebuchadnezzar in the book of Daniel 2:31-42. These pointed to 10 democratic leaders under the Beast Kingdom likened to the Imperial Power of Rome in John's Day. According to both Daniel and John - the Beast has seven heads and 10 horns.

Rev 17:7...And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns...

The seven heads are seven Kings...five fallen Roman leaders that history will confirm. The 6th was Domitian a Roman King who exiled John to the Isle of Patmos - where the Book of Revelation was written. The 7th had not come yet...which is the Beast Kingdom in the books of Daniel and Revelation. The 8th is the Son of Perdition (the Anti-Christ) and is actually the 7th according to Revelation.

Rev 17:10-11...And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when "he" cometh, he must continue a short space. And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. The Anti-Christ (He) that is birthed out of the Beast that also goeth into perdition.

John the Revelator, Peter's Epistles and Paul's Epistles all confirm the Rapture of the Church, the Jewish tribulation, and the Wrath that Christ ministers, after the Church is taken out. The Anti-Christ, He, the Little Horn, The Man of Sin, the son of perdition, is confirmed through many various men of God who were moved by the Holy Ghost. The Anti-Christ was also referred to and spoken of by Jesus in Mark's narrative. Jesus was ministering to Israel.

Mark 13:13-14... And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:...For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.

This is because of the Wrath of God is ministered during the Great Tribulation. The Abomination of Desolation takes place within that 7 year time frame. It is an outlawing of Temple Worship directly related to Israel under the aggression of a Gentile One World Government governed by the Anti-Christ. It is a product of the Beast Kingdom (a Gentile, pagan, and heathen) influence over the nation of Israel under the reign of Satan and the Anti-Christ during the entire period of seven years of Tribulation upon Israel. God allows this to happen because the "hinderer' of God's Wrath steps aside. The Anti-Christ, the Little Horn or "He", confirms this covenant with Israel at the first half of the 7 year Tribulation but "He" breaks this covenant in the second half of the Great Tribulation after Gentile aggression outlaws Jewish Temple worship in Jerusalem.

 First 3 ½ year period…Rev 11:2…But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

 Second 3 ½ year period... Rev 11: 3…And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. Rev 13:4-5…And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him? And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

Gentile aggression against Israel occurs during the Great Tribulation...Influenced by the Anti-Christ under Satan's dominion.

There is a reference that may confuse some individuals. It’s found in Matthew 24:14 and states the Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world. Matt 24:14…And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. Jesus is referring to a false proclamation made by the Jewish people during the Tribulation... toward the Gentile world. That context is proven in the next few verses. Verse 15 describes the abomination of desolation*. Matt 24:15...When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

*The Abomination of Desolation was a Gentile aggression against Israel during the great Tribulation which is a type similar to the Babylonian aggression during the reign of Antiochus Epiphanes a Syrian king spoken of in Daniel 9:27. Epiphanes’ hatred toward the Jew outlawed the Sabbath, the Torah, circumcision, temple worship, etc. He also erected a statue in the likeness of himself and sacrificed a pig on the alter.

The Jew will be hated on earth instead of reigning on earth. This false proclamation also applies to the Jew returning to Israel before the Great Tribulation and proclaiming the land of Canaan is theirs. Israel's false proclamation during the Great Tribulation is that that the Kingdom is restored. This false proclamation only brings the armies of the world against Israel, ushering in the battle of Armageddon…during which Christ will come and restore the Kingdom prepared from the foundation of the World.

Rev 19:19-20...And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone

It's one thing to read the Word, its another thing to interpret it, but yet another thing to live it out!

Men "add to" God’s Word to please themselves…not God. Man’s intellectual and logical mind conflicts with the mind of God. God’s Word was not written to please man, or to please his logic, or to please his intellect. The Old Testament records were inspired by God and given to Israel for correction, reproof, and instruction in righteousness.

2 Tim 3:16-17...All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Israel got away from God’s commands in the Torah during all four Gentile captivities in history. Israel re-wrote the Torah and placed their interpretation into Talmudic writings according to their own interpretation. Israel’s interpretation of the Torah gradually swayed away from the Torah’s authority and standard of truth, until the Word of God became of none effect.

Matt 15:6-9...Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

This is what Christ, the Messiah encountered during His Earthly ministry. This is why Jesus made His famous Sermon on the Mount. Jesus’ beatitudes (a heavenly declaration) instructed Israel to get back to the righteousness and authority of the Torah... as it was written. By doing so Israel would have gotten away from the Babylonian Talmud which Christ defined as the tradition of the Elders. Israel would have got back to the holiness of the Torah and thus become eligible to receive the Earthly Kingdom of Heaven that would have began in the land of Palestine. The Kingdom of Heaven is where Christ will physically and visibly rule from his earthly Throne in Jerusalem.

Israel swayed from the authority of the Torah to please their leaders who were influenced by the Gentile world during various Gentile captivities. Israel’s interpretation of the Law led them into unholiness of heart and conduct toward God because of deviation from the authority of the Law of Moses. Without obedience to the authority of the Torah... Israel was not able to recognize the Messiahship of Christ. Examine Christ's own words closely.

John 5:46...For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.

False teachings among the Gentiles today are no different than Isreal's deviation from the Torah to the Talmudic teachings that caused them to err from the truth.

Daniel’s interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream ...the Great Image

The book of Daniel points out how Israel preserved its Messianic lineage during Gentile captivities through the pages of history. In Daniel Chapter 2 Christ is described as the stone that smote the image and broke them into pieces. This prophecy directly relates to Divine Judgment and shows how Christ will subdue all nations, before Christ establishes His earthly Kingdom in Israel.

· Dan 2:34… Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces

· Dan 2:31-34…Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image*, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible. This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay. Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them:

*The Great Image in Daniel 2 is the Beast Kingdom; a Gentile one-world government that opposes Israel during the Great Tribulation, The beast is also mentioned in the Book of Revelation.

· Dan 7:3…And four great beasts** came up from the sea, diverse one from another

**The four Beasts had reference to Gentile empires…Babylonian, Grecian, Medo-Persian, and Roman that took the nation of Israel into captivity at different periods of time until Christ came.

After Christ defeats the great image* that opposes Israel, He will then set up His earthly Kingdom. This is where the promised Messiah visibly rules from His throne in Jerusalem.

* Beast Kingdom… is a Gentile one world government that opposes Israel and brings in the Battle of Armageddon during the Great tribulation.

· Dan 2:35…and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

· Dan 2:44…And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

· Dan 7:27… And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

Christ is coming back to set up this visible Kingdom. The Raptured saints will also reign with Him. The present Kingdom of God is invisible, but the future Kingdom of Heaven will be visible. There are more prophecies in the Bible that deal with the Kingdom of Heaven than the Kingdom of God. In fact, there are more prophecies that deal with Christ ruling earth than His death, burial and resurrection. Understanding of the Kingdom of Heaven is what this writing is trying to convey. This is exactly what the ministry of Christ was all about.
