Servants and ministers for Christ

The message of Jesus is being told and scattered around globe in so many ways. The glory of Jesus Christ is being made known through His servants and His messengers, which are many around the globe. The truth about Jesus Christ is being declared in some of the most remote and yet some of the most popular places on earth. God is no respecter of persons when reaching hearts for Christ.

God has servants from every walk of life doing the work of the ministry while He prepares hearts for the soon return if His Christ. Servants for Christ are magnifying the person, power, and presence of Christ on the four corners of the earth. People from every nation are being enlightened and coming to the realization of the fact that every knee will bow at the appearing of Christ. Countless thousands around the world are coming to the realization at present that Christ is enthroned in Heaven and merely places His witness in the believer's hearts around the world to tell people about our Savior, Jesus.

A witness for Christ has a servant's heart for Christ regardless of denomination, race, culture, nationality, or ethnicity. The servant for Christ from any nation or denomination is subject to the one in authority in Heaven which is a resurrected Christ. Christ sits upon the Throne "Now". As many as have received Him...these are the sons and daughters of God...born of God to serve God and serve people...with a "whole heart". The servant discerns what is needed. The servant does things pleasing for the King. The servant of God is a Spirit led witness for Christ...in word and in deed.

Christianity is "present tense" and being shared around the world "Now" by the truth of the Gospel Message. All witnesses for Christ have a servant's heart. All servants for Christ have a witnessing heart. God has a plan for humanity. Anyone from any nation may find Christ as personal Savior and Lord. Allow Christ to become Lord of your life....then you to will become a witness and servant for Christ until He returns.

Let all be done for the glory of Christ!

Hello India...Pakistan...China...Thailand...Cambodia...UK...Australia...New Zealand...Philipines...Malaysia...Colombia...Africa...Russia...Taiwan...US...Singapore...Canada...Egypt...Middle East...Israel...Japan...Ukraine...Mexico...Central America...Jamaica...Europe...Poland

May the authority and presence of Christ be made known "in power" through the testimony and witness of His servants around the globe. This is His Church, the body of Christ in action.

The Holy Spirit’s Witness…Pt. 2

(Outer confession of Christ from the mouth of the believer) In simple terms..."tell the world about Christ".

The work of the Holy Spirit places a witness in the heart of a believer through the Christian experience of the new birth. This witness from the Spirit of God testifies salvation through the forgiveness of sins received within the human soul. A believer in Christ thus experiences a moral change of character and conduct through the Holy Spirit’s witness. How? freedom and deliverance from the bondage of sin produces the holy heart. The Holy Spirit’s union with the spirit of man in Salvation directs the believer in a holy life. Every believer in Christ has this witness in himself.

· 1 John 5:10…He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself

All believers become members of the body of Christ through the miracle of the new birth. The experience of the new birth allows a penitent man to receive a holy nature given from God. Since there is no man righteous without Christ, no not one, the “new nature” is what enables man, a sinner from birth to do right in the sight of God.

· Rom 3:10… As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

The moral transformation from sinner to saint allows this just man to be placed into right standing with God. A right standing with God comes through man’s trust in what Christ did for him personally at the cross; and what Christ is presently doing within his life from the Throneroom. The Holy Spirit’s witness placed within that heart and life directs the believer’s daily life in Christ.

· Gal 5:25… If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit

The Holy Spirit’s “inner witness” becomes the believer’s “outer witness” for the cause of Christ. Children of God become witnesses for Christ and this is how. First the Spirit’s witness is received into the heart of those who trust Christ for the forgiveness of sins. Secondly, the believer concerning the regenerating work of the new birth received within that soul makes confession. A believer’s confession of Christ is a testimony to “the world” about the inner work of Salvation that he personally received.

· Rom 10:10-11…For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed

The testimony of a believer is how Christ manifests Himself through His body, the Church. Members of the body of Christ are those converted by the Grace of God. Witnessing for Christ is how God draws men into His body. Christians tell the world about the person of Christ. The Holy Spirit performs the sanctifying work of Salvation in every soul that receives Christ. A witness for Christ tells the world about who Christ is. The Holy Spirit convicts those hearts of sin and unrighteousness. God puts witnesses for Christ across the paths of unsaved men. The Holy Spirit shows those men a need for a Savior. A witness for Christ tells the world of an Eternal Judgment. The Holy Spirit shows man how to escape it it. The harmony between a witness for Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit in the negative side of man is how God through Christ draws sinful men to “repentance” and “acceptance”.

· John 12:32…And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

A believer in Christ becomes a witness for Christ because he is enlightened to the regenerative work of the Holy Spirit personally received in the soul. This child of God has a confession about Christ because of an actual moral change experienced within that heart and life. A child of God thus becomes a physical mouthpiece for Christ to the world. Why? Christ through the members of His body enlightens the unsaved world to the actual experience of becoming a child of God. This is why men of God to those who do not know or understand God offer invitations.

· Isa 55:1-2…Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

Witnessing for Christ is part of being a Christian and not to be taken lightly. The believer’s witness for Christ is a love for humanity. The holy heart and life of a believer allows man to be a true and effective witness for Christ without a two-sided life. Confession in word is the believer’s witness for Christ. Confession in lifestyle shows the believers love toward God and his love for humanity. The true heart of a believer allows Christ to manifest in that life…both in deed and truth.

· 1 John 3:18-19…My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.

It’s the love of God shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost that makes men witnesses for Christ. Christians “are” witnesses and they do “tell” the world about the person of Christ. Why? They personally know the love of God for the forgiveness of sins, in their own experience. They desire to tell the world about this blessed experience. They personally know that Christ gave them a clean heart. They desire to tell the world about that also. They personally know they were bought for a price and they desire to tell the world about that too. Christ is confirmed inwardly in their hearts and lives by the Holy Ghost; and glorified outwardly through the word of their testimony!

· 1 Cor 1:4-8…I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

· 2 Thess 1:10-12… (Because our testimony among you was believed) in that day. Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Holy Spirit’s Witness

(The inner work of the Holy Spirit in the soul of a believer)

The witness of the Holy Spirit affects the inner part of man’s make-up in both sinner and saint alike. It deals with how the Spirit of God reaches the human soul in Salvation. The Holy Spirit affects the human soul when man "hears" the truth of the word of God. As the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit inwardly work together the unholy will and desire of man is affected or swayed. The Spirit’s witness through the Gospel message affects the mind and will of sinful man enough that sinful man can be led to repentance. The Spirit’s conviction pricks the heart by stirring the conscience and revealing to man (Christ) thus showing man his need to turn away from a life of sin.

· Acts 2:37-38…now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent

Repentance is work of the Holy Spirit in the human soul that helps sinful man to change his mind. The Spirit places a new desire in the heart to quit wrongdoing and helps one to recognize a consciousness to Christ. The Holy Spirit testifies Christ to the heart of man.

· John 15:26…But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me

As the Spirit testifies to the heart, man can see himself as he really is. Sin is exposed as the power of the Holy Spirit affects the will of man enough that a change of mind can be made. Mans choice to change is made as the goodness of God leads him to repentance.

· Rom 2:4…not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance

The Spirit’s witness makes Christ known to the human soul. This work of the Holy Spirit affects mans choices and decision making process. When a sinful man sees himself in the presence of Christ brokenness from the guilt of sin occurs. By the Spirits conviction man becomes sorrowful for sinful acts and wrongdoing. Sorrow then turns to consent of the human will in repentance, belief, and acceptance of Christ for the forgiveness of sins.

· 2 Cor 7:10…For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation

Unlike conviction and repentance which affect the will of man, believing and receiving deals with consent of the human will. Consent of human will is given through mans faith toward Christ. It is worked out through a life of obedience to God. Contempt of human will is reflected toward Christ through doubt, rejection, or unbelief. It is worked out through a life of disobedience to God. The Holy Spirit’s invitation through preaching the Gospel can disturb the conscience enough to sway the will of man. Through acceptance of Christ man makes a willful choice to get away from what he is. His choice to willfully exercise faith allows the power of God to produce a life of subjection and obedience to Christ. Note the fact that faith and the Holy Spirit enter into man through hearing… the word of God.

· Gal 3:2…Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
· Rom 10:17…So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

The Holy Spirit cuts through the hardness of man’s negative side and bears witness with the spirit of man. The witness of the Holy Spirit unites with the spirit of man through regeneration of the new birth. The mind, will, and desires of a believer are not only affected …by the power of the Holy Spirit but are now… changed. Repentance and remission of sins allows this believer to be pardoned from all past sins. Justification is a pardon granted from God for all the past sins of a man who now trusts in Christ for the forgiveness of sins. For this reason the Gospel is preached.

· Luke 24:47…And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations
· Acts 13:38-39…through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things

When man believes and gives his heart to Christ he receives the down payment of a new life in the Spirit. He is sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.

· Eph 1:13…after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise

Sealing is an initial work of the Spirit that places a believer into Christ and into Christ’s spiritual body. When man is sealed into Christ by the Spirit, life is viewed through a different set of eyes. Man becomes aware of the Holy Spirits presence. He knows his sins are forgiven by trusting the death of Christ alone. He is conscious to righteousness rather than wrongdoing. He is given a holy heart with holy desires and reverence to God. He joyfully abides in the Spirit with a realization of holiness without guilt or condemnation from sin. He knows Christ and knows that his changed moral make up is sealed with the Holy Spirit. He’s Gods property and ownership. The seal of the Spirit of truth enables man to be guided morally into all truth.

· John 16:13-14…Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

The person of Christ…"now".

The person of Christ the invisible God..in whom we place our faith. Getting beyond the death of Christ takes us to a place of faith….not by sight. Faith gets beyond the suffering Savior and takes to a place of resurrection and exaltation. The resurrection of Christ from the tomb is hard to fathom in human intellect. Only faith can be placed in the evidence not seen.

Everyone knows what Christ did 2000 years ago…but what’s Christ doing now, present tense today from His Throne of Grace? Are you in Christ today? Is Christ in you today? What about having His witness in your heart? What about the power of Salvation in your soul and body? What about being, living, and walking like children of God? Let’s examine the person of our enthroned Christ and His effect upon the heart and life of a child of God. Christ, In whom…In whom…In whom…

In whom we have…redemption even the forgiveness of sins
In whom we have…obtained an inheritance
In whom…we trusted
In whom…we believed
In whom…we are “sealed” with the Holy Spirit
In whom we are…builded together as a habitation of God through the Spirit

Christ is a living Savior…in whom we have and in whom we are new creatures in Christ. We are His workmanship “created in Christ Jesus”. The Bible says “In Him” we live, move, and have our being. As you have received Christ, “walk in Him”. There is no condemnation to those who are ”in Christ”. In His person. In HIs character, and in His make-up. We are members of His holy body. By whom we have access through faith… into the power of God’s Divine Grace.

Christ is a living personality seated at the right hand of the Father. Christ is alive! Now! Christ makes new creatures now! Christ is with the Father now! By Christ all things consist. Christ in you “proves” you are made new by God. You have hope when Christ is in you and you’re in Christ. You have hope and are without condemnation when you’re in Christ. Don’t walk in the flesh. Walk in the Spirit. Walk in Christ and let Christ live though your character and make-up. Prove what is acceptable to Him.

We serve a risen Savior who is Lord of our lives. Chris has all power over the flesh! Christ has all authority over sin! As many as are “led” by Christ, these believers are definitely children of God. Christ is alive and keeps our hearts pure and right. He is able. He does because He is…God. It’s the person of Christ that produces holiness of heart and holiness of conduct in the child of God’s state of being and present life on earth. Without faith its impossible to have Christ. Without Christ its impossible to please God.

Christ in you is your ” future hope”…if you keep and don’t depart from faith in Him. His person is morally powerful! His person is so powerful that a sinner can be made and saint of God. So powerful that a believer can live holy and right! Through committment Christ will “keep” you. It’s His person that forgives and morally changes the human soul. It’s His person that enacts and produces holiness of character in you.

It’s all about Christ “in whom” we have so great a Salvation that the world often misunderstands. Christ “in whom” we are saved and changed. Christ “in whom” we are blessed by the power of His Holy Spirit. Christ “in whom” makes us witnesses in all the world to glorify Him and bring honor to His Holy name. Let the name of Christ be known “in all the world!”

In whom we have…redemption even the forgiveness of sins
In whom we have…obtained an inheritance
In whom…we trusted
In whom…we believed
In whom…we are “sealed” with the Holy Spirit
In whom we are…builded together as a habitation of God through the Spirit

First Epistle of John (audio)...a verse by verse study...Chapters 4-5...by Rick Roehm

This part two study is MP3 audio only. Didn't get a chance to transpose to video like pt. 1. Does contain great information on John's rebuttal of Gnosticism and the victory that all children of God can have in Christ Jesus.

The Holy Spirit "testifies" Christ to the heart of man

The Holy Spirit shows man Christ. The Holy Spirit reveals the person of Christ. Christ is made known to the human family by the ministry of the Holy Spirit. This is the witness of God to the human family.

When the Gospel is preached Christ is made known. Christ shows the sinner his need to turn from sin and disobedience. Light shines and reveals sin. The Spirit's testimony tells the sinner there is a better way in the person of Christ.

This witness of the Spirit can convict. This witness can stir man so much that fallen man will turn from evil and wrongdoing. The Spirit's witness can be seen in goodness that "leads" or "causes" fallen man to change his mind. The Gospel message gets into man's thinking enough that the Holy Spirit can sway fallen man to believe.

The Holy Spirit "testifies" Christ to the human soul. There is power in preaching because the ministration of the Holy Spirit is behind preaching and touches man with truth and love. This touch is the Spirit's testimony of Christ.

John 15:26-27... But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: And ye also shall bear witness

A testimony of the Grace of God from Ireland

As all of you know this Blogsite, Brother Hubert Lindsey, and this writer all magnify the Grace of God above all things. We teach the victory of living under Grace and not the bondage of living under the Law. Recently I wrote and published a Blog at ChristianBlog.com titled,

Man struggled to keep the Law of Moses. Calvary took away that struggle

You may read it at the above link if you wish. It was a nice Blog that magnified the Grace of God. A dear sister in the Lord "Bethy" from Ireland was touched by the Blog and made the following comment. With her permission I felt the urgency to publish this beautiful comment that magnified a touch of God's Grace. So, I'm posting her comment at this Blog. May all of you be blessed by this beautiful testimony by Bethy, from Ireland.

When I waken in the morning I do not have to wonder how I will keep the law so as to keep close to Christ. I no longer have to fret over every thought in my head, and wonder if that thought is the one that will damn me forever.

I don't have to work at making myself acceptable to God, for through His Grace I am acceptable to Him in Christ. To me that is the big difference in living under the law and living under grace.
I look at my own life and realise that under the law I could never have become acceptable to this Holy and Merciful God. For the law only highlights my failings and my shortcomings.

May God bless you as you tell others of the Grace of God, for in understanding grace we can understand more our need for it.

Oh the love that
Drew salvation's plan,
Oh the grace that
Brought it down to man,
Oh the mighty gulf
That God did span
At calvary.

The more I understand His grace, the deeper I fall in Love with Him. The more I understand this grace, the more I cannot fathom Why he would love me as he does.. Yet he does and its all because of grace.

Holy Hubert Lindsey (photos) preaching the "Open Air"...1970 Vortex 1...Oregon

Brother Lindsey preached Christ in the "Open Air" in Oregon, 1970. This event was called "Vortex 1" that all of you must read about on the Internet. These were very tubulent years as alot was going on in the US. Christ sent Holy Hubert there for a reason...to win men and women to Christ! I was told by the man that gave me these photos that Holy Hubert greeted Huey Newton (an activist with the Black Panther movement) at this event with a hugh hug...full of love! Holy Hubert pointed fingers, preached Hell's Fire...but he also loved people enough to carry the Gospel of Christ to them. Hubert's Gospel was a Christ centered Gospel that impacted people tremendously and ministered in the Spirit. I have had people contact me that were "changed by Brother Lindey's ministry 40 years ago". What a testimony for Christ!

I've been personally advocating the theology and ministry of Holy Hubert Lindsey for 23 years. Brother Lindsey wanted his material out there. Him and I spoke about this often before he died! Brother Lindsey left behind his entire life of Theology and ministry in audio form that were preserved on audio cassettes by the hundreds. I have been transposing these to CD format and publishing on the Internet for years! Brother Lindsey also left behind books (the Kingdom series..a two volume set) that need to be re-published for the cause of Christ...as the modern Church era is so mixed up and confused in theology. So much knowledge...so much confusion...so much work to be done for Christ! These books I speak of are actually text books that teach people how to rightly divide the Holy Scriptures. Try to get them every way possible.

At the Churches on Trial Blog I currently am publishing Brother Lindsey's timeless teaching of holiness on audio/video. For the past 8 years I've been compiling information and writing about Hubert Lindsey and his ministry for Christ. It's been a beautiful experience as Iv'e met and corresponded with people all over this nation who were touched or impacted with Brother Lindsey's Gospel about the Lord Jesus Christ. I have actually heard from "many" who were touched by his preaching 40 years ago...and are still Christian today! Glory! What a testimony! What substance! What foundation!

For years I've been attempting to write a biography titled, "The Walking Bible" a documentary on Holy Hubert Lindsey. As God allows it will come together on time. I also posted these photos on the Holy Hubert Lindsey Facebook at the following link.

Sinful men are criminal in the eyes of God. They are guilty until they are "declared" innocent by God Almighty

Sinful men are lawbreakers.

1 John 3:4... Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Christians are not lawbreakers. What is the Law of God that Christians obey today present tense? The Law of the Spirit.

Rom 8:22... For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Christians are pardoned from the penalty of sin through trust alone in the shed blood of Christ for personal forgiveness. Simply put, "God's pardon allows Christians to mind the Spirit of God by faith and obedience to Christ". This is why God teaches believers to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh.

Gal 5:16...Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

If Christian's were violators against the Law of God they would also be criminal in the eyes of God. Criminals are convicts! Christians are converts!

Are you a convict or a convert in the eyes of God? Have you been freed from all criminal activity and conduct in the eyes of God? Has the Spirit of God given you power to overcome breaking God's Divine Law? Lawbreakers and violators of Divine Law are without this power I speak of. What is this power that converts a criminal in the eyes of God?

It's the power of a resurrected Christ received by faith! To as many as receive Him to them gave He power...

John 1:12...but as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God

1 Peter 1:4-5...for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith

Holy men do right! Holy men have power to do right! Holy men do not desire to do wrong! Holy men are conscious to this Christ I speak of. You can live with a consciousness to Christ's power and presence in your life every day of your existence. Holy men are not lawbreakers like the world tells you! Holy men are not criminal in the eyes of God! That's a deception! Holy men do not violate God's law! Why? Holy men have power and strength given from Christ.

Acts 1:8...ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:

Has the Holy Ghost come upon you? Glory! Is He that's in you greater than he that's in the world? Are you an overcomer? Are you tossing with lawlessness and rebellion? I'm here to tell you and show you that with Christ there is a better way and a better life than being tossed to and fro. Recognize Christ's power and presence in your life...daily. He gives the victory. He gives the pardon! He converts the soul! He gives power to the weak! He keeps us steady! He is our anchor of hope. He converts sinful men and makes them converts! When the conversion is made the world will see it and you will testify to it! Then it won't be just Rick Roehm saying it, "It will be you".

Live the holy life, tell about Christ and bring Glory to His name.

The power of the Holy Spirit...the power behind Brother Hubert Lindsey...the power behind Rick Roehm ...and the power behind this Blog is the "Living Christ". Believers are all members of the Church of the Living God! The truth about Christ is revealed and experienced in our hearts and lives. There's never any shame magnifying Christ's glorius presence with the words of your mouth. That's the reason why we tell the lost world about Christ! That's the reason why we talk about Christ and what He's done for us! That's the reason we testify about Christ and the present tense power of His resurrection! Testimony brings honor, glory and consciousness to the presence of Christ to an unbelieving world!

Christ lives my brother and sister! His amazing Grace should never be taken lightly, no matter the situation or the circumstance that arises in your life! Bring glory and honor to the name of Christ...never dishonor and never disgrace! Don't let life's frustrations rob you by robbing God! Don't let the decitfulness of sin harden your holy heart! Christ truely loves the sinner but hates their sin. Glory to the Living Christ who gives the believer a way to escape the decietfulness of sin; the powers of darkness; the entanglements of the world; and the struggles with the Adamic nature. Glory to Christ's presence that's made known...through the truth of the Word and witness of the Holy Spirit!

Bring honor to the Christ you serve with a whole heart. Recognize Christ's Holy presence. Submit to Christ's Divine authority and do His will. Tell the world about the power and victory Christ provides to those who experience His awesome presence. Glory to the holy presence of Christ! Glory to Christ, the head of the Church of the living God! Glory to the King!

Tell the world about what Christ has done for you. Let Christ be known from the attitude of your heart and the words of your mouth! Testify! Preach! Bring honor to a living Christ! Glory! The power of the living Christ is behind you! A testimony for Christ is a strong witness to the unbelieving world!

...with the heart man believeth unto righteousness
...with the mouth confession is made unto Him.

Pointing people to Christ...

One purpose of this Blog is to tell people and point people to the person Christ; so Christ can become real to their hearts and lives. Christ is real to this writer and I really mean it!

Did you ever notice how ungodly the world is around you? The vulgarity and profanity that goes on. Do you remember how, before Christ gave you a clean heart, how you used to be? Just look at the sensuality and dirty living going on in the world. The lust of the flesh the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. The sinful nature man rules the hearts of the unsaved world and teaches man everything ...but who Christ is. I speak of Christ who is real...a Christ who cleanses the soul and removes guilt from the human conscience. I speak of Christ who gives man a holy heart and a right conduct in life. This Christ I speak of makes men and women "new creations" with a new standard of living.

The Devil has field days roaming around like a lion seeking whom he may devour. Drug addiction is at an all time high in 2009. When I mention drug addiction I speak of legal addictions as well as illicit addictions as some doctors seem to prescribe anything you want. Just look around you'll see it! Alcoholism and strong drink plagues society with an acceptable, lax, and legal means of social pleasure and even getting a legal buzz. You have legalized gambling (even in some Churches as fund raisers) and worldly pleasures that are wrecking families and marriages by the thousands. These socially accepted things oppose Christ.

Why am I picking on these worldly things? They cause unsaved people to miss the power and person of Christ. These worldly things keep the unsaved world mentally occupied and tied up. These things keep the mind and interests of humanity focused "worldly things" rather that Jesus. This is why God wants His servants to tell the ungodly world about Jesus' saving Grace. This is why God wants Jesus' power to be told about. He knows the necessity of getting men delivered from sin and from the world. He knows the necessity to make Christ known. God doesn't want the unsaved world to miss Christ...or Christ's delivering power that saves!

I preach Jesus daily. I preach at work... I preach on this Blog... I preach at the Upper Room, and now the Holy Spirit is leading me to preach out in the world. The Spirit of God prompts this preacher to get outside the four walls. The Holy Spirit prompts this preacher to tell the world about how real Christ is. The Spirit has made this writer a witness for Christ. Woe to me if I preach not the Gospel of Christ. God has shown this preacher how ungodly the world really is...but through love and compassion for fellow man I tell people about Christ and His saving Grace. I point people to Him...to His holy presence...and tell them about Christ's power to deliver the unsaved man from the disease of sin.

Yes, sin is the disease...but Jesus is the cure. Yes, life does have many problems...but Jesus is problem solver. That's why I point people to Jesus. That's why I stir people with these blogs. That's what Gods wants me to do. Yes, God wants this writer to point people to Christ! I also admit... this ungodly world sometimes even tries to consume this preacher...but the living Christ I serve... simply takes over and makes intercession for His servant. That's why I trust Christ so much. He's never let me down.

Rom 8:32...He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

1 Cor 2:12... Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

The surrendered life...given through the example of Brother Hubert Lindsey

No man would know more about the surrendered life than Brother Lindsey who was totally given to Christ in both word and deed. Hubert declared often, “God can use a sanctified man”. Hubert’s reasoning was the surrendered life of a believer was totally yielded to the Spirit of God. Hubert’s life of surrender was a man totally controlled by Christ. His selfishness from Adamic life was gone. His body and his actions in the physical were controlled by the Spirit of Christ. Before sanctification the old Hubert wanted to hang on to the things of the world. After sanctification the new Hubert let go. Hubert’s life of surrender proved there was no more conflict with the Old Hubert. Hubert always preached the Old Hubert was dead. He insisted the old life of Hubert Lindsey was buried. Hubert’s renewed life was a living sacrifice to Christ that brought forth fruit from the Holy Spirit and not from the flesh. Entire Sanctification allowed Brother Lindsey to stay unattached to the things of the world. Hubert’s personal plans, his personal interests, his personal habits, his personal ambitions, his personal family ties, and his appetite for the material things of the world…were gone. The surrendered life of Hubert Lindsey proved he was renewed by Spirit after he was entirely sanctified!

• Rom 12:1-2…I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

In 2003 at Brother Lindsey’s memorial service in Newark Ohio, a certain testimony touched this writer. Christ was in it! There was young man that gave testimony on Hubert Lindsey’s behalf. He testified that in 1987 Hubert had been traveling, preaching, and promoting the Kingdom Series books. Hubert had stopped to preach in Florence, Ky. He was accommodated by the Dennigan family where he was given an invitation to preach at an Assembly of God Church in Florence, Ky. The pastor’s son’s name was Mike Dennigan Jr. He was very young at that time. The pastor who invited Hubert to stay in his home was Mike Dennigan Sr. During Hubert’s stay with the Dennigan’s, all young Mike Dennigan could do was talk about was a new bicycle. Hubert preached that weekend but when he was departing he made a point to give young Mike Dennigan a new bicycle. The bicycle and Hubert’s deed of giving stuck with young Mike Dennigan’s heart all those years. Mike’s testimony at the Memorial service for Brother Lindsey touched this writer. Hubert was a very kind individual but from a monetary standpoint had very little to give… but he gave! That godly gesture was a witness for Christ to young Mike Dennigan’s heart for life!

Mike’s testimony about Brother Lindsey was a witness for Christ that stuck with this writer’s heart! Hubert’s kindness and compassion for the boy was fruit from the Holy Spirit’s witness. The surrendered life of Hubert Lindsey allowed Christ to manifest through Hubert’s action which continued on through young Mike Dennigan’s testimony. The affects from those works continue on the pages of this biography.

• Rev 14:13…Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

Holy Hubert's Legacy lives! His legacy was "Revival". Could this mean Jesus Movement 2009?

With honor and reverence toward Brother Lindsey, the father of this (present tense) movement for Christ in 2009...this Christian Blog has been created. When I speak of this movement for Christ in 2009 I speak of the present tense work of Christ from the Throneroom that actively "works" (now) in the hearts and lives of those who believe in Him. I speak of a present tense "Revival" that Brother Lindsey preached about and lived his entire life for. I speak of a present tense "Revival" that lives and moves under the directive Holy Spirit that flows through the truth of the Bible and our obedience to Christ! I speak of stirring souls and moving people to Christ through the truth behind the Gospel that Brother Lindsey preached. That is my objective as I personally became a product of the power of the Gospel that Brother Lindsey preached in 1988.

Brother Lindsey gave himself to the cause of Christ his whole life in the ministry. He was the Father of the Jesus Movement in the late sixties and experienced great "Revival". His ministry for Christ (25 years later in the late 80's) affected this writers life tremendously..that's why I write this Blog. Brother Lindsey's Revival message didn't cease in the 80's as this writer was "Revived" by that truth...in 1988. Brother Lindsey's Gospel brought "Revival" to thousands and there is a reason behind it all! All the power of a living Christ was behind Brother Lindsey's Gospel...and that's why so many people were affected by his ministry. That's why I'm resurrecting Brother Lindsey's messages, his teachings, his Church services, and the radio broadcast...The Churches on Trial. There was to much knowledge contained on the audios recorded by Brother Lindsey to be buried and stored away. God wants that material out there. So did Brother Lindsey, and so does this writer!

In order to have "Revival" and a modern day "Jesus Movement" the truth about Holiness must not be suppressed in these trying times of 2009. Truth must be revealed through the Christian witness and character for Christ. The truth about Sanctification and God's Sanctifying work in the human soul must be brought to peoples attention...(today) in 2009. The name of Christ and His power to "Revive" must be magnified...not suppressed. This brings "Revival" ...and this is how I remember Brother Lindsey declaring these same words...time and time..again! Brother Lindsey believed in Revival! I also believe in " Revival"! Brother Lindsey believed Christ Revives! I also believe Christ Revives! Brother Lindsey believed Christ restores! I believe Christ restores! Brother Lindsey believed Christ heals! I believe Christ heals! Brother Lindsey believed Christ forgives! I know Christ forgives!

I write this stuff because its fresh on my heart everyday. I preach the Gospel because its fresh on my heart everyday. My witness for Christ is fresh on my heart everyday! I know we need an awakening in 2009! I get responses from people across this nation that were awakened by the power behind Brother Lindsey's messages (even people who were affected 25-40 years ago). The power behind Brother Lindsey's Gospel was a living Christ and that same Christ is alive today an He "Awakens and Revives". The power behind a Christian's "holy heart" is a living Christ... and holiness of heart is the "center" of Revival and a present tense Awakening. The power behind our "true witness" for God...is holiness of heart through a living Christ! The root of Revival is Holiness of heart. When the truth about holiness of heart is taught... Revival can break out like measles. That's where the Jesus Movement in 2009 can start from.

Revival didn't cease...because the power and presence of Christ is alive! Holiness didn't cease because Christ is alive and He changes sinful men to holy men of God! The holy heart is what compels Revival! The holy heart is what compels the child of God to tell the world about Christ. If you're a child of God...don't give place to the Devil! Don't be distracted by religion, by the mainstream opinions of men, or by the problems of life. The Jesus Movement is for today and there are many who need His Revival and His Awakening! Get outside the four walls...and help people to find the power and presence of Christ...who saved our souls.

Thanks be to Brother Lindsey and his timeless messages of holiness for Christ. Thanks be to those who respond to this Blog and testify of how Christ used Brother Lindsey to affect their personal lives in Christ. Thanks be to the Sanctifying Work of the Holy Ghost that rids man of the sinful nature and produces holiness of charcter and conduct. Thanks be to the Churches on Trial (Blog) and the Internet that allows this ministry to go into all the World for Christ. Thanks be to Christ who "Revives" those who are touched by His ministry. Do you sense an Awakening from Christ, or perhaps a Jesus Movement in 2009?

Why some people reject the truth...

A child of God has the witness of the Spirit in his heart. The witness of the Spirit testifies Christ and truth to the human soul. All this comes from a "Glimpse of Calvary"...which comes through mans belief in what the Prophets said about Christ's death, burial, and resurrection. After a sinful man's repentance...believing allows Christ to come into the character and make-up of the human soul. This conversion is "not" a process...it's an instantaneous experience of God's Salvation by Grace. It's the Christian experience of the new birth! That's why James said in ...

James 1:21...Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

Many things happen in belief. First man understands the things concerning Christ's redemptive work on the cross for his own personal forgiveness for sins. Secondly, a renunciation of sin and disobedience to God becomes the attitude of this believer's heart. Belief obligates man to God in Christ. Forsaking sin is a part of a believer's obligation to God.

Knowledge of the Bible brings even more responsibility to the believer. You show me a man that's truly saved and I'll show you a man in agreement with the truth of the Bible. You show me a man who rejects Salvation of the human soul and I'll show you a man who rejects the truth about what's written in the Bible. Bible truth isn't hard for a child of God to accept...but it is hard for a sinful man to accept. Why? Belief requires forsaking sin. This allows the power of God's Grace to save (convert) the human soul... This conversion and Christian experience of Salvation is automatically in agreement with the truth of the Holy Scriptures.

Again, I quote...

James 1:21...Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

Justification, Regeneration, and the Witness of the Spirit

Biblical *Justification is a pardon granted by God upon the soul of man who trusts in Christ for the forgiveness of sins. After repentance and trusting in the death of Christ alone, God’s justice declares a sinner innocent from all sins committed in the past. Justification by Grace removes the guilt of sin from the human conscience. In a judicial sense a believer is declared righteous by the Justification of God through faith alone in the redemptive work of Christ on the cross. God’s Justification deals with the acts of sin and not the inherited sinful nature.

· Acts 13:38-39…Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
· Rom 3:24-25…being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past

*Regeneration is the Spirit’s restoration of the human soul that saves a believer from eternal death and separation from the mercy of God. A justified man right in the presence of God is passed to life through regeneration. Life in the New Testament is two fold: First, a present life consisting of holiness of heart and obedience to God: Second, to an inherited eternal life which follows death to the physical body beyond the grave. Washing of regeneration, an inward work of the Holy Ghost is granted to a believer by the Mercy and Grace of God through Justification.

· Titus 3:5…Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
· Titus 3:6-7…Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

When a penitent sinner is cleansed from all sin the moral make-up is also restored in Christ. The Holy Spirit re-creates the inner being of a believer through the new birth. This re-creation includes a Divine nature. The mind, conduct, and desires of one born of God are conscious to the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. This person knows God from the heart because of communion in the Spirit. Unlike the sinner, a regenerate man has strength to stop sinning and quit doing wrong as consciousness to the presence of the Holy Spirit takes away sinful desire. The divine nature produces a new desire to live holy and without sin as a child of God should.

· 1 John 3:9…Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin.
· 1 John 4:4… because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Through God’s regenerative work the Holy Spirit bears witness with the spirit of man. This union confirms in the heart of a believer that he’s a child of God and his sins are forgiven.
The *witness of the Holy Spirit testifies Christ inwardly to a believer and brings to knowledge a life of holiness and obedience to God. Every believer has this witness in himself.

· Rom 8:16…The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
· 1 John 5:10…He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself:

***The intent of this teaching Blog is to first bring clarity to the Biblical terms Justification, Regeneration, and Witness of the Spirit unused in everyday language; and second, to confirm an actual Christian experience and its relation to the scriptural reference given…
