When people "get to" Christ...things happen!

It is urgent that I speak to people about getting to Christ at Calvary and reaching Him with the heart and soul through belief. Why? Something happens to the heart and soul of a believer when man "finds" redemption through the power of Christ! Forgiveness is found within the soul of sinful man through belief! Not because this man asked or was sorry..but because Christ loved him enough as a sinner that he would die with a willingness to be crucified. Jesus desires and wants to deliver all men from their evil, wretched, and sinful condition in life...but not solely because they are sorry or they ask...but... because they "believe" and "trust" in what He did for them personally at the Cross at Calvary. Something happens when man turns to Christ's death alone for forgiveness! A sinful man thus becomes "through" with the old lusts . Something happens because a sinner finds power to do right through the death of a Saviour on the cross! People need to find personal forgiveness at Calvary! They need to find personal deliverance from lust and sensuality. They find Mercy and Grace when they connect to a Saviour's love and holiness. When they find Christ and His miracle pardon over their old conversation...they will be through with the old life of lust, through with the old life of sensuality, and through with the old life of dirty living. They willfully "quit" their meanness because Christ changes them morally by the exceeding riches of His Grace! Glory to Christ! Glory to Christ! Glory to Christ!

...through this man (Christ) is preached the forgiveness of sins...Acts 13:38, 39
...in whom we have redemption, ever the forgiveness of sins...Eph. 1:7, Col. 1:14

Why? The exceeding riches of God's Grace...

The walk

The walk of a Christian is a walk of obedience to God. Reason? Empowered with the Holy Spirit. Reason? The Grace of God keeps the Holy Spirit present in your life.

In times past you didn't walk with God. Reason? You didn't have Christ or personal redemption from sin. Ephesians 2:2

After Christ came in you could walk worthy in the eyes of God. Reason? You were called by God and you accepted Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. Ephesians 4:1

The old life has nothing to offer. It is empty, void, and hollow. That old life of vanity can be tossed into the sea of forgetfulness when Christ takes over. Ephesians 4:17

After the Spirit of Christ came in actions were changed. Conduct was changed. A new behavior began. Eyes on Christ as personal Savior and redeemer. The character within the soul found peace. Love for mankind and fellow man is produced within. Christians imitate God in love because they are "begotten" of God. Love and unity are produced by the Grace of God that keeps the Holy Spirit present. Love and unity are characteristics of the Christian walk and Christian manner of life. Ephesians 5:1,2

Christians live an obedient life. They walk the walk so they can talk the talk for Jesus. No longer are believers in darkness...they are children of light who walk in the light. Ephesians 5:3

Paying attention to Spiritual things and being cautious before acting is the walk of a believer in Christ. Believers in Christ look before they leap. Ephesians 5:15

Anyone can walk this walk with Christ and find victory every day of their lives. What a beautiful life! The sacred theme of the New Testament.

The Grace of God defined in the Holy Scriptures...King James Version

The Grace of God is the nucleus of our Salvation, our holiness of conduct, and our Eternal life. Many new and modern translations of the Bible take the meaning of Divine Grace which is an operation of God and mix it with human works. This is contrary to true meaning and Biblical definition of the Grace of God that redeems the human soul from sin and death, produces a heart of holiness and right living, and gives the believer a life of contentment that can be found in no other place on planet Earth.

The Grace of God is the activity of God that redeems the soul of man from an unholy state of being to a holy state of being. The activity of God is not to be mixed up with the activity of man. Divine Grace morally changes the make up of man inwardly. If man could do it himself he wouldn't need Christ. Divine Grace is what God does and has nothing to do with human effort whatsoever. Biblical Grace is an action word not to be mixed with human effort in any respect.

Strongs concordance says God's Grace is a divine influence upon the heart of man that is reflected in that life.

The Bible says we are saved by Grace not of works lest any man should boast. The Grace of God flows from Calvary is received by men and women that trust Christ's suffering and death alone for personal forgiveness for their sins. Forgiveness of sins and holiness of chartacter is a product of God's Divine Grace that cleanses the heart from all unrighteouness and teaches a man how to live, act, and behave. This Grace I am writing about is a blessing from God granted to every believing heart on this planet. This Grace is to be accepted and held on to, firmly, every day of our existence in Christ. This Grace is what saves us and changes us morally!

Concerning what translation you use? Let me say this. There are words such as the following that are not to be confused or misunderstood...

Redemption
Remission of sins
Regeneration
Renewal
Justification
Sanctification
Perfection
Grace

All of the above words are common language in the King James Version of the Bible. All the above words pertain to the Grace of God...or what God does in the heart of man. I stress the point these words make no reference to what man does in any respect. The King James Version of the Bible did not take away from the meaning of Divine Grace that's reflected in the above words and/or many other words not mentioned in this Blog. Some of our modern translations have mixed human effort into the use of these terms which takes away from what God does, by mixing in human effort, human advancement, or human achievement. Even the Blood of Christ which is the basis for our redemption and forgiveness is taken out of use in many modern translations if you care to check. I have personally researched this topic for 23 years and found this to be very, very true and deceiving to the modern religious world. Here's the simplicity of it all...

The word "redemption" is what God does through the sacrifice of Christ.
The "remission of sins" is what God does in your personal forgiveness.
"Regeneration" is what God does through the work of His Holy Spirit.
"Renewal" is what God does after He sanctifies your heart.
"Justification" a down payment of Salvation is what God does.
"Sanctification" a completed work of Salvation is what God does.
"Perfection" is what God does after sanctification...and has nothing to do with human works.
"Grace" The operation of God that morally changes the human soul

All the above words are based on what Christ did at Calvary or what He's doing presently from the Throneroom. All the above words are simple to understand if you keep human works out of the picture. I have learned the language of the Bible and even learned to how to read myself from this type of teaching and understanding. Why? God is behind it "Full Throttle" with His dunamis power that flows from Calvary. I have taught others this concept who could not read...how to read...and God blessed them richly. Glory! Yes my brothers and sisters God teaches us how to read if we just learn and undertand what His Divine Grace really is ...the rest just falls into place.

I urge all of you to learn and study from the King James Version of the Bible because it keeps the Grace of God where the Grace of God belongs in the believers life. It keeps man out of the picture and vividly teaches what Christ did and what Christ is doing right now from the Throneroom. These few Biblical words I used above are easy to learn and understand if we just concentrate on what the Grace of God really is.

I admit these words are not commonly used today but if they are learned in their proper context...they all will simply reflect the power of the Grace of God that brings the lost world... Salvation of the soul. To take these words out of the Bible and to substitute them takes away from the meaning of Biblical terminlogy brought out in the King James Version. God bless you all for your servanthood to Christ. God Bless Mr. Abela for his devotion to his Blog for Christ and that people. Father God, "Thank you for keeping your hand on us all through faith and trust in the sacrifice of Christ for personal forgiveness". Enlighten us to your Grace and the meaning of your Biblical terminology that pertains to Grace. Make it clear in our hearts and thinking.

Titus 2:11-14...For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Keep your eyes on Christ and the truth of the Holy Scripture. Glory!

Biblical Question: Where does righteousness come from?

Answer: Righteousness is a gift of God's Grace. Righteousness is produced in a believer's moral being and character. Righteousness today under Grace (in the Church) is not based on human works. Man doesn't seek righteousness in the body of Christ. Righteousness is found as a result of man's faith and trust in the person of Christ.

Romans 5:17...For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.

They which receive...
They which receive...
They which receive...

Righteousness is received into the heart and character of man's being. Righteousness comes from your faith in Christ. Righteousness is a changed moral character by the Grace of God. Righteousness is the fruit of God's character produced in the believer's character. Righteousness has nothing to do with...self.

The Bible says with the heart man beleiveth unto righteousness...

Romans 10:10...For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness;

Man is made righteous, by Christ. Not by works. Not by human effort. Not by anything man does. Righteousness comes in to the heart of a believer from a righteous Christ.

Romans 5:19...so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Isaiah 53:7...by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

"Righteousness has nothing to do with what man does. Righteousness flows into the human soul from the cross at Calvary. Righteousness is bestowed into the heart of a believer in Christ and therefore witnessed in the eyes of God".

A description of God simplified

The Bible is clear that God is (1) entity. Three distinct personalities - The Father, Jesus; the Holy Spirit.  To bring more clarity on God let me give you a few illustrations about singular words that have plural meanings.
  • The body of Christ is (1) body yet has many members. 1 Corinthians 12
  • A husband and wife are joined together in matrimony to become (1) flesh yet there are (2) people involved. Ephesians 5:31
  • An ice cube, steam, and water are all (1) substance  in (3) different forms - H2O.
  • The egg white, the egg yolk, and the shell all (1) egg in (3) different forms.
  • God said, "Let us make man in our own image" (1) God plural in meaning. Genesis 1:26
This great truth brings light to the subject of God in three distinct persons. The Bible is a beautiful textbook that teaches man to understand God, Christ, and the marvelous presence of the Holy Spirit who Jesus himself addressed as, "He".

John 16: 13-14...Howbeit when :"he", the Spirit of truth, is come, "he" will guide you into all truth: for "he" shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever "he" shall hear, that shall "he" speak: and "he" will shew you things to come. "He" shall glorify me: for "he" shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

Divine Revelation from God is ministered to the heart of man

Revelation of the mystery…

· Rom 16:25-26…Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

The Revelation of the person and character of Jesus Christ is ministered to the human soul through the preaching of the Gospel. The “true” Gospel message calls men to unite with the Spirit of God through belief in the death of Christ for the forgiveness of sins. The Revelation of the Gospel that Paul called “his Gospel” is what the Prophets, the Psalms, and the Law of Moses prophetically recorded about the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. The revelation offered to man through Gospel preaching is to be conveyed to the entire lost world. The evidence and fruit of the Gospel message is: the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit; becoming a member of the body of Christ; forgiveness of sins; holiness of heart; a changed life; eternal life after death; etc. All these pertain to the mystery that Paul spoke of concerning the revelation of Christ.

Revelation of Jesus Christ…

· Gal 1:12…For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Truth concerning Christ’s redemptive work and the power of His resurrection was revealed and confirmed to Paul by Divine Revelation. The character of Christ was manifested in Paul’s heart and life through the Holy Spirit’s witness. Every believer in Christ has this same witness.

· 1 John 5:10… He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself
Mans natural understanding is enlightened through Divine revelation …

The person and character of Christ is revealed to the heart of man by the Holy Ghost through the Gospel message. Hearing the Gospel sways a man from the natural understanding of his heart.

· Eph 1:13…In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

· Eph 1:17-18…That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.

Natural understanding causes men to steer away from, or reject the truth about Christ.

· Eph 4:18…Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
When the Revelation of Christ is revealed to the human soul, man’s understanding is opened to truth of the Holy Scriptures.

· Luke 24:32…And they said one to another, did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?

· Luke 24:45… Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures

Divine Revelation comes from the Spirit of God…

When prophecies like Genesis 3:15, Isaiah 53, and Psalms 22 that reveal the person of Christ are preached, light is placed on the power of Salvation that comes through hearing about a Saviour. The true Gospel allows God to minister truth to the hearts of any listener. Truth revealed to the soul of man can change the course of the unrighteous and make his course righteous under the directive of God. Confirmation of the Revelation of Christ in the heart and mind of a believer can provide boldness to carry this truth into a lost world. The natural mind of man, cannot reveal such truth.

· Eph 3:3-5…How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

· Gal 1:15-16…But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:

Grace extended to the heart of man through Divine Revelation…

God calls men to salvation by hearing the Gospel. Divine Revelation shows the recipient of the Gospel a way to escape a life of sin and disobedience. Without recognition of Christ man cannot break away from the bondage of sin. Saving Grace through the person of Christ is revealed when sinful men “believe” who Christ is. By Grace given from Christ himself, they can escape the bondage of sin and live a holy life.

· 1 Peter 1:13-14…Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

Divine Revelation

Did you know God is revealed through his Son, Jesus Christ? Yes, Christ is revealed through the truth of the Holy Scriptures. Yes, Christ is made known through the work of the Holy Spirit in the human soul. Divine Revelation is how Christ is made known to every man's heart.

The changed heart and life (of a Christian) is Christ revealed...in the life of a believer!

This kind of revelation does not come from the world we live in. It comes straight from the Throneroom. Divine Revelation comes through the ministration of the Holy Spirit. God ministers Christ to the human soul. God speaks to the human heart through his son...Christ.

The preaching of Christ reveals who He is and what He does. The preaching of Christ makes His person, His power, and His presence known to "us" and the world around us. All of the Apostles preached Christ as the Holy Spirit "ministered" truth to the hearers. That same ministry exists today...through the truth of His Word and through the truth of His Spirit. Truth about Christ comes to the heart of man through Divine Revelation.

Gal 1:11-12... But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Jesus, the son of God was born holy and filled with the Spirit

Jesus was born "holy"...Luke 1:35...therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

Jesus was filled with the Spirit "without measure" from birth...John 3:34...For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him

Jesus was led of the Spirit into temptation...Luke 4:1-2...And Jesus being "full of the Holy Ghost" returned from Jordan, and was "led by the Spirit" into the wilderness, Being forty days tempted of the devil.

Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit at John's Baptism where the Spirit descended on Him like a dove: after the baptism which John preached;  Acts 10:37,38...How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power:

Jesus was "full" of the Eternal Spirit when He suffered and died in the cross...Heb. 9:14...How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

When Jesus saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him at John's Baptism...He was at the age of thirty which allowed Him according to law (Torah) to minister God's Word. Jesus stated, "Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness"...Jesus was set aside for the ministry...anointed of God and inaugurated into the Priesthood.

Psalm 110:4...The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

Heb. 7:26-28...For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.

God does not blink at sin

God neither blinks at - nor excuses sin or sinful conduct. Man is accountable to God for sin. Christians are responsible to God for every action they take in life.

1 Peter 3:12...For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

There are many denominations and religions around the world that lead people to believe that sin is OK; or that God blinks when sin is committed. WRONG! When human lust conceives sin is birthed. When sin is committed it separates man from the God of Salvation. (This is why confession is made to God Almighty)

James 1:13-15... Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Do not err, my beloved brethren.

If you think God blinks at sin you have another thing coming.

1 John 3:8-9...He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin;

God's eyes are on the child of God and they are never closed. The child of God's eyes are to be on Christ and never closed. Sin violates the Law of God and should never be excused. To live right in the eyes of God is the best life you can have on this side of Heaven. Sin grieves God. Your strength and faithfulness makes the Lord happy and joyful.

Nehemiah 8:10...Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

Denying the Deity of Christ...

In this present evil world there are many religious organizations that deny the Deity of Christ. What is the deity of Christ? The deity of Christ is the fact that He is very God. He was God before He became a man. He was God in the womb of the virgin Mary. He was God in the flesh when He dwelt among us. He is God now in the Throneroom where He rules the heart and life of every child of God!

John 1:1-2...In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.The same was in the beginning with God.

John 1:14...And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,

If anyone ever tells you that Christ sinned...he denies the fact that Christ was God in the flesh. God could never sin nor could Christ ever sin as both are members of the Divine Godhead. Christ was sinless and His sinlessness proved He was very God. God had to become flesh in order to be the Saviour of the world. Without a Saviour there is no forgiveness for humanity.

What proves apostasy in this modern religious world? Denial of Christ being very God. Any religious body that teaches that Christ was a sinful man like you and I... denies the deity of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Any religious body that denies the deity of Christ is a cult. Cults deny the fact that Christ is very God. Any man or religious body that practices or teaches such doctrine is a deceiver that deceives other people.

1 Tim 4:1...Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

Cults are prophetically spoken of in the Bible. Cults turn away from the truth about Christ being God. Cults teach apostasy. God's Word says Christ was God in the flesh.

1 Tim 3:16...And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Note how the above verse states, "Without controversy" . There is no controversy to the great truth...that Christ is God. Hallelujah!

Genuine Salvation?

A genuinely saved man will not just "quit" wrong to be saved, he we quit wrong because he's saved. He's a new creation made by Christ. He's saved by Grace. He's justified by Grace. He experiences righteousness by faith. Every sin is forgiven and the heart is clean and holy in the eyes of God. There's no more "rejection" of Christ, but acceptance and trust with an everyday consciousness to Christ's Divine presence and authority. There's a transformation made where the clean heart provides a means for the believer to live without sin. I know this state of being is not experienced by everyone, but the fact of the matter is, "Everybody is not genuinely saved".

Genuine Salvation prepares the heart of man for a future Judgment. Every genuinely saved man knows there will be a Judgment day. Every genuinely saved man knows he's saved from wrath of God in Eternal Judgment and every sin is forgiven. A saved man knows holiness of heart and conduct is essential in the life of a believer in Christ. Belief is consent of the human will to God. Belief understands the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross. Belief is enlightenment to the person of a living Christ. Belief brings God's Salvation into the human soul and it becomes a way of life. This is how God prepares a man's heart and soul for the coming of Christ in Judgment. The heart is clean and ready to caught up to meet with Christ in the air. Genuine Salvation causes man to "look" for the return of Christ to call out the Church from Great Tribulation.

It's obvious that genuine Salvation is missed by so many people in this modern religious era. This is so sad and hard for some to acknowledge as the time of Christ's return draws closer and closer. More and more people are turning away from the truth in this fast paced society we live in. The Bible speaks of this unholy crowd. It calls this unholy crowd, "those who perish". Those who perish are deceived by sin as they are overtaken and smothered in unrighteous and unclean living in the eyes of God. Those who perish miss Christ. They reject His love of the truth. They miss the experience of genuine Salvation in a lost world waiting for Christ's glorious return. Because of this unholy and unrighteous state of man...God is going to send upon this crowd that finds pleasure in sin...a strong delusion. This crowd will become so deceived that they become delirious believing in something false. Some even find so much pleasure in their deception they can never come back to God. Their souls are damned for Eternity.

2 Thess 2:10-12...And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Look around today at the people who reject the truth about holiness and right living that only comes from Christ. They reject God's Truth about a Saviour recorded in His Holy Scripture. They reject the fact that Jesus can cleanse the heart from "all" sin. How are these people who are so overtaken with the "deceivableness of unrighteous living" going to be prepared for Christ's coming and His Divine Judgment? What are these people hanging onto? What are these people trusting in? Are these people who are going to perish simply believing in a lie? Yes. This lie becomes so overwhelming that it takes over their hearts and lives. The root of the lie is believing that Christians can continue in sin and live a life in unrighteousness...no matter what the Bible says. It's happening now! People are so wrapped up in everything but truth, they are consumed and overtaken by the "deceivableness of unrighteousness".

This Salvation I write about is genuine Salvation. Have you got it? If you have, Glory! If you don't have it get it now before its to late. Don't let religion or tradition or human opinion cause you to miss the truth about Christ and Christian living. Get your heart right today through genuine Salvation that comes from Christ our Saviour and Redeemer. Glory! Don't wait! Today is the day of Salvation!

Life is a vapor and then its gone (a Biblical perspective)

No Christian knows what tomorrow will bring. Christians must be accountable to God every minute, every hour, every day. The Bible teaches that today is the day of salvation and holy living. Don't wait for tomorrow. Christians are to live according to the will of God  in the present tense for this very reason. Never should salvation be taken lightly or for granted enough to miss the mark today. Life is only vapor and then it vanishes away. Reasons are many to stay in harmony with Christ who saved you and redeemed your soul with His amazing Grace. Boasting is a sin. High-mindedness is dangerous. Be careful how you behave. You're accountable. Do good because the heart is cleansed by Christ who bought you for a price. The Bible teaches life is a vapor and lasts for a little while and then its gone. I like what James had to say about this.

James 4:14-17...Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

Without understanding of man's "fallen nature" ...there's no need for a Saviour

The following is an excerpt from a biography I'm presently writing about Brother Lindsey. The biography is titled, "The Walking Bible". Since I began writing the biography (2009) God has since taken me in another direction which has become... this Blog. Since back then, this writer has began publishing past radio broadcasts by Brother Lindsey. Before Brother Lindsey died, him and I discussed keeping this ministry alive. I committed to him and through that committment... this Blog and my Church in Williamsburg have both become God's vehicles to carry this Gospel for God...and Brother Lindsey. May this Blog in dedication to Brother Lindsey bless others as much as it this writer. Here's the excerpt...

Hubert's preaching always contrasted "fallen man" with the power of the true Gospel. Hubert’s reasoning was the depravity of man needed to be taught more in the modern Church-world so men would see more of their need for the redemptive work of Christ. Hubert’s preaching always kept the topic of the fallen state of man under the light of the Glorious Gospel. Hubert Lindsey was very sensitive to fallen man’s helplessness, his hopelessness, and his inability to change morally without the redemptive power of Divine Grace. Hubert always emphasized the need for teaching both the frailty of man and the power of a resurrected Savior. Hubert knew that without recognition of man’s fallen state the unsaved world would have no need for the power and presence of a living Christ. Hubert preached Christ to all his listeners and explained in depth mans need for deliverance from the pollution of sin caused from man’s inherited fallen nature.

When Hubert preached he always addressed two types of sin. First was the act of sin that man commits; second was the actual sinful nature of man. Hubert’s Gospel always steered men to turn away from both kinds of sin to an acceptance of the person of Christ as means of redemption. At the end of his sermons Hubert always offered his audience invitation to the redemptive power of Christ. Hubert had no problem understanding that only through the person of Christ could sinful men be led to repentance.

In all of his preaching Hubert always made the point that repentance means to change your mind. Hubert had a God-given way of describing the two-fold meaning of repentance. In one respect he would show repentance as man’s change of mind from wrongdoing and from sinful acts. Secondly, he would teach that repentance is man’s change of mind from what he is by nature. Repentance from the fallen state of man is not taught much in the mainstream today. Hubert understood that only the power from preaching the Gospel leads sinful men to repentance from what they did...and from what they are.

Luke 24:47… And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations,

Acts 13:38-39…Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things

Hubert Lindsey confidently recognized the fact that the fallen nature of man was a doctrine taught in almost every book of the Bible. Hubert believed that without this doctrine being taught man would lack understanding or the need for the work of the Holy Spirit that morally sanctifies man from the nature of sin. Hubert wouldn’t budge from the fact that man was carnal by nature as taught in the Bible. He knew that Christ was man’s only hope to be delivered from that propensity of sin! Hubert believed and taught that a man had to know “what he is” before he could find deliverance from the carnal heart through the Spirit’s Sanctifying work. Hubert professed there was a time in the past when the subject of the depravity of man was taught on more. Brother Lindsey proclaimed that the doctrine of depravity faded in the past 100 years. That’s why he called what we’re living in today, “The modern Church-world”. Among other things the modern Church-world has drifted away from teaching on …the depravity of man.

In 1985 Brother Lindsey put this great subject onto an audio recording. It was titled, “Original Sin and doubt”. This audio recording contained a wealth of scriptural evidence that is “a must” for every Christian library.

Hubert attended a Faith Conference in the 80’s where many known figures in the modern Faith Movement attended. He was approached by a popular mainstream Pastor and asked, “What are you going to preach on tonight”. Hubert stated, “Doubt”. The Pastor asked Hubert, “Why doubt at a Faith conference?” Hubert stated because the Holy Spirit deals with the negative side of the human being.

The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin and reveals doubt to the human conscience. Doubt is… faith in Christ’s greatest hindrance. Doubt is the fruit of man’s negative side that causes man to miss Christ. Hubert preached on doubt because it’s a product of the carnal heart. Doubt and uncertainty hinders people from believing or exercising faith in Christ. Hubert preached on doubt so he could show people how God could “rid” man from “it”. When Christ is revealed the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit directly “reproves” the negative part of man that produces doubt and unbelief.

John 16:8-9… And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me;

If more people lived according to God's standard

The Christian witness would be better. God’s Standard would be recognized for the cause of Christ. Examples would be set. Testimonies would be true. The witness of a Christian (a small minority in the big picture around the globe) would “win” many to Christ worldwide. Deviation from holiness given by the Grace of God is not acceptable to God. God doesn’t blink His eyes when Christian’s sin. Sin grieves the Spirit of God. Sin gives a bad example to an unsaved world. Christian’s are equipped with a clean and holy heart that allows them to stand sure as witnesses. Christian’s live up to God’s standard because they care and are conscientious to Christ. The world we live in watches Christians and Christian’s live the way they’re supposed to live. If they live according to God’s standard of holiness they will “win” people to Christ.

1 Corinthians 9:19-23…For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more. And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law; To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law. To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. And this I do for the gospel’s sake

God's upward call - the Rapture of the Church

Philippians 3: 11...If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection (out) of the dead.

Being taken out of this world is the picture. The word "out" is added in the Greek text.

Philippians 3: 13-14...Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

The necessary preparation for the "out resurrection" is a clean heart...holy in the eyes of God. Members of the body of Christ are made holy by God's Grace with a yearning from within to be with Christ. The Rapture of the Church is the prize of God's high calling. All members of Christ's body alive or in the grave will make the Rapture. Christ will "take out His Church" from among the dead. This upward call is the Christian's escape from the Great Tribulation.

God’s preparation for the Rapture of the Church...The inner work of the Holy Spirit in the heart of a believer

• The Holy Spirit reproves the hearts of sinful men and leads them to repentance. John 16:8-9...And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me;

• After repentance the Holy Spirit baptizes the believer into the body of Christ.1 Cor 12:13... For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

• A believer is thus sealed with the Holy Spirit...Eph 1:13...In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

• A member of the body of Christ is regenerated by the Spirit of God through the new birth. Titus 3:5...Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

• The Holy Spirit testifies and reveals Christ to the hearts of members of the body of Christ...John 15:26...But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

• The Holy Spirit shows members of the body of Christ how to get rid of the Adamic nature that still tries to rule their lives...Rom 6:6...that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

• In the baptism with the Holy Ghost and fire…The Holy Spirit purifies the heart of the believer from the Adamic life and nature that still tries to rule...Acts 15:8-9...And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

• After the sanctifying power of the Baptism with the Holy Ghost is experienced, members of the body of Christ are…renewed by the Spirit. Rom 12:1-2...that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

• All believers patiently await the Rapture of the Church. 1 Thess 4:13-17...But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

• The Church (universal) in the Rapture is a Church that is holy, and without spot or blemish...Eph 5:27...That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

God’s preparation for the Rapture of the Church...The outer work of the Holy Spirit “hindering” the reign of the Antichrist

The work of the Holy Spirit is not limited to Salvation and Sanctification of the soul only. The Holy Spirit is what keeps the Antichrist from full reign today! The omnipresence of the Holy Spirit is what keeps the mercy of God present in this Church Age! What happens after the Church is taken out? The Rapture allows the seven year Tribulation on Earth to begin. The Tribulation is the ministering of God’s Wrath upon the Earth. God’s mercy departs with the Church in the Rapture. After the Rapture the Antichrist or Man of Sin steps in, under the dominion of Satan!

At present the omnipresence of the Holy Spirit “holds back” the Wrath of God taught in the book of Revelation. At present the omnipresence of the Holy Spirit “holds back” powers of Satan who will set up his kingdom for seven years when the Church is taken out. At present the omnipresence of the Holy Spirit in the Church “holds back” the Man of sin/Antichrist promised to be revealed at the beginning of the seven year Tribulation.

The Holy Spirit is the “hinderer” of God’s Divine Wrath and the Antichrist. The Rapture is the Churches final judgment that “escapes the Wrath of God” during the seven year Tribulation. At present…God’s mercy in the Holy Spirit is the only thing that hinders the Wrath of God from coming upon the Church! The Antichrist cannot come until the Church is taken out first. Satan’s dominion will come after the Rapture. The Antichrist will move in at that time under Satan’s dominion. Satan’s kingdom and the Antichrist are both hindered in this present Church Age until the omnipresence of the Holy Spirit steps aside, at the Rapture of the Church.

Many people understand the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit in the human soul. Fewer understand the hindering work of the Holy Spirit that saves the Church world from the Wrath of God. Why? The Divine Wrath and Judgment of an angry God are subjects seldom taught on today. When the Holy Spirit is viewed as more than a reprover and sanctifier "He" will be seen as a hinderer of God’s Wrath. The Holy Spirit hinders the Wrath of God… withholds the Wrath of God… and steps aside from the Divine Wrath of God at the Rapture of the Church. The hindering work of the Holy Spirit is the only thing keeps the Antichrist from stepping into our present Church Age! Here’s the best verse in the Bible that describes the hindering work of the Holy Spirit that is holding back the reign of the Antichrist in this present Church Age.

· 2 Thess 2:4-8… Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God (the Antichrist). Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what withholdeth (the Holy Spirit) that he (the Antichrist) might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let (the Holy Spirit), until he be taken out of the way (the Holy Spirit steps aside). And then shall that Wicked be revealed (the Antichrist), whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming ;

This writer knows only few that teach and expound on this doctrine. Hubert Lindsey was one of those. I publish his writings and teachings on this Blog.

Another is William E. Blackstone author of… Jesus is Coming. Here's a quote from Jesus is Coming that coincides with this Blog…This mystery of Lawlessness already worked in the days of the apostle, but there has been a hindering power, which, we believe, is the Holy Spirit, in His present manifestation, or office, viz.: as the reprover of the world and gatherer of the Church. When He, the restraining one, is taken out of the way (or out of the midst), at the rapture of the Church, then shall the mystery be unveiled, and the Lawless one be revealed (2 Thess. 2:7-8).

Here's a link to an excellent website that has the entire book published by W.E.Blackstone titled, Jesus is Coming". Jesus is coming - Blackstone

After the Church is taken out (Raptured) there are...three pictures of the saints of God

  • The first picture shows...the saints of God reigning with Christ for 1000 years.
  • The next picture is at the end of the 1000 year reign where the saints of God fled away (escaped the Judgement at the Great White Throne)
  • The last picture is when saints return from Heaven and descend back down to the earth and place "Heaven upon the Earth". Rev 21:22... And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. The Bible terms Christ as the Bridegroom, the husband, and the Lamb. Rev 19:7...Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. The Bible calls the Church, the Bride and the Lamb's wife.  Rev 21:9...Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.

1. When the Church is caught up (Raptured in Latin) the dead in Christ and those who are alive in Christ meet with Christ in Heaven. These saints escape the Great Tribulation that takes place for seven years. This is the Churches final Judgement. The Bible terms the relationship between the Church and Christ as a marriage between the Bride, the Church and the Bridegroom, Christ. The marriage supper of the Lamb, with all the saints in Heaven begins and continues for seven years.

Rev 19:7-9...Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb.

2. After the seven year Tribulation (a Jewish Tribulation) the Raptured saints return with Christ at the beginning of the 1000 year reign. Christ returns in flaming fire and renovates the earth to set up His geographical Throne in Jerusalem. Those saints who return with Christ will reign as kings and priests in His Kingdom while spreading the succession of this earthly Kingdom over the complete earth. Agricultural life, plant life, animal life will succeed as the Kingdom within Jerusalem spreads throughout the whole earth. During the 1000 year reign some men will still die. Two types of saint exist : Glorified and mortal.

Isa 65:19-20...And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying. There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.

The wealth of the Heathen will come back to Jerusalem. The Law that flows from Zion will minister to the Heathen world. The truth about the Messiahship of Christ will flow throughout the earth. This will allow Christ's earthly Kingdom to become a "universal Kingdom" rather than just a geographical Kingdom in Jerusalem at the beginning of the 1000 year reign.

Rev 20:4... And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them:

Brother Lindsey termed the 1000 year reign of Christ with the saints of God as a "1000 year honeymoon" for the Lamb and His Bride the Church. Glory!

3.The last picture of the saint is viewed at the end of the 1000 year reign of Christ. This picture is a presentation from Christ given to the Father for His bride (the Church) to escape the fierce Judgment of the Great White Throne.

Rev 20:9-11...And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, "from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away"; and there was found no place for them.

The saints from heaven that reigned on earth "fled away". The Church ascends back to Heaven to escape Divine Judgment! This is what allows the saints to come back down from Heaven, yet another time, to establish the "Universal Kingdom of Heaven on Earth".

Rev 21:2...And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

This God-given study was prompted yesterday by a dear Brother in the Lord by the name of Jim Denton from Pontiac Michigan. A glimpse of this study was given by Brother Lindsey through a Church service recorded at the Church at Birmingham November 1, 1989. Through fervent study and heavenly wisdom given from the Spirit of God this writer is allowed of God to publish this writing for the edification of others in Christ...on this Blog! This Blog dedicated to the timeless teachings of Brother Lindsey is a God sent! Hubert would be honored! God is honored! The truth of the Bible is revealed and publicized! This writer is honored! How beautiful are the feet of them that bring good news!

God bless you all! May the Lord bless you all richly with His Grace! May He open the scriptures to your understanding! Glory to the name of Christ forever! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

The Bride of Christ

(A distinction between the Rapture of the Church and the Return of the Lord with His all His saints)

The Rapture (a Latin word) is a New Testament mystery not prophesied in the Old Testament; or taught in the four Gospels. The Rapture pertains to Christ’s descension to meet with His Church (the Bride) in the air… at the end of this Church Age. Unlike the return of our Lord in the Kingdom Age, Christ never sets one single foot on the Earth during the Rapture of the Church. The Rapture implies the Bridegroom's calling out of His Bride (the Church) from the unsaved world’s worst condition in history. The Rapture of the Church is a testimony to Israel about the truth of the return of the Messiah with all the saints to set up the promised Kingdom in Jerusalem. The Rapture a calling out of the saints is the deliverance of the Body of Christ from future judgment prophesied to come upon Israel during the Great Tribulation. The Rapture takes place before the Great Tribulation. This tribulation is God’s last effort to offer final redemption to His elect...Israel. When the Church is caught up to meet with Christ in the air, consummation is made in Heaven between the Bride and Bridegroom. Mercy is found by the Bride of Christ as they escape tribulation, wrath, and the Great White Throne Judgment. When Divine mercy from God is withheld after the Church is taken out, Israel thus faces a prophetic and catastrophic period of time taught in the Old Testament as a time of “Jacobs Trouble”.

Since the death of Christ the present Church, the Bride of Christ is unification through the Holy Spirit between both Jew and Gentile. This unification offered through the mercy of God that radiates from the cross, is given for the Bride to escape the seven year Tribulation prophesied to come upon Israel. The Great Tribulation is an event foretold in the seventieth week of Daniel. This Great Tribulation is when the hinderer of God’s Mercy, the Holy Spirit steps aside and allows the Anti-Christ to confirm his covenant under the reign of Satan for seven years of wrath and Judgment upon the earth. The ministration of the Holy Ghost is not limited to sanctification and the new birth only. The mercy of God that is presently extended to the human family from Christ at Calvary is ministered through Holy Spirits withholding presence of Divine Wrath. “After the Rapture of the Church” when the Holy Spirit steps aside the Anti-Christ under the reign of Satan will confirm the Holy Spirit's departure of mercy from the earth. Christ thus returns to the Mount of Olives at the end of the seven-year tribulation to consume and destroy the man of sin or Anti-Christ.

2 Thess 2:3-8…that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming.

The Church birthed and purchased by the blood of Christ is simply God’s common ground of unification for Jewish people that believe in Old Testament promises about Christ; and Gentile believers in Christ who are aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and never given a promise from God. The New Testament teaches the body of Christ is the common thread of the Holy Ghost that sews the new birth and sanctification through the Spirit to the hearts of both Jewish and Gentile people who accept the truth about Christ. Remember… the Church was never prophesied and the Gentiles were never given Promises, Prophets, or Priesthood in the Old Testament! Only Israel who was given the oracles of God would understand a future tribulation, judgment, and wrath that will come upon the earth and then usher in the return of our Lord. The Old Testament teaches that when the Messiah returns He has his all saints with Him! These married saints are the Lamb's Bride and Christ is the Bridegroom!

The prepared heart of a Child of God understands a present readiness to meet with the Bridegroom at the Rapture of the Church. Even Gentiles who were never given a single promise in the Old Testament understand this mystery. Why? It is revealed to the heart and soul of any believer in Christ…through the Divine presence of the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost reveals the truth about Heaven to hearts of men and women through a consciousness to the presence of Christ by faith. The Holy Ghost simply prepares the Bride to meet with the Bridegroom at the Rapture of the Church.

Even more beautifully at the end of Daniel’s prophetic seventieth week (or seven years known by any learned Jew) the Bride returns with the Bridegroom to set up the Kingdom on Earth prepared from the foundation of the world. This return and future Kingdom Age is when Christ physically sets foot on the Earth. Unlike the Rapture of the Church, at this return Christ does not call out the saints to meet with Him in the air, but Christ has the saints with him as confirmed in many Old Testament prophecies. The Rapture of the Church offers mercy to the children of God: the promised return of Christ with His Bride minister’s wrath and judgment upon the Devil, the Beast; the Anti-Christ; and the Jewish people that reject Christ at that time. At the end of the seven year Tribulation… in the beginning of the 1000 year reign of our Lord, the saints or the Bride of Christ will accompany Christ in this Millennial Kingdom to execute Judgment and renovate the Earth. God’s seven year tribulation upon Israel only continues to offer mercy to His elect Israel because of His foreknowledge and Israel’s genealogical background of the Holy Scripture.

Here’s a prediction of the fierceness and wrath of Christ when the Bridegroom returns with His Bride as written by John in the Revelation of Christ.

Rev 19:7-13…Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, these are the true sayings of God. And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and true, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

The Bride and the Bridegroom (a summary)

The Bride...which is the Church (universal) consists of the spiritual body of Christ where all Christians are members of God's universal body of believers. The Bridegroom is an enthroned Christ in Heaven that awaits the Rapture (or the calling out of the Church to escape Great Tribulation) that is promised to come upon the unsaved world in the latter days. The Rapture's calling out of the Church is God's final Judgment for all members of the Church Universal. These members of Christ's body will escape Tribulation and Wrath promised to come upon the Earth (predicted in the book of Revelation). The event of the Rapture will take place seven years before Christ's (the Bridegroom's) return in Divine Judgment to set up His promised Kingdom in Israel Matt. 25:1.

During the Rapture of the Church, (the Bride which consists of all the called out members of Christ's body) meet the Bridegroom (Christ) in the air to escape God's prophetic Judgment that will come upon the Earth. Together, a union is made between "Christ and all believers" who have either passed to the grave; or are presently alive in Christ. In the Rapture of the Church, a resurrection of the dead; and a glorification of those who are alive in Christ will take place! This complete group of called out believers will ascend to Heaven; unite with Christ; and remain with an enthroned Christ, for the period of seven years. Together in Heaven, a Marriage takes place between... the Bride (the Church) and Bridegroom (Christ).

At the end of the seven year Tribulation a celebration takes place in Heaven called the Marriage Supper, Rev. 19:9. Christ (the Bridegroom) and all the saints in Heaven (the Bride) prepare to return to Earth to set up the Promised Kingdom of Heaven in Jerusalem. Just before return of Christ with all the saints, at the beginning of this 1000 year reign, God will renovate the Earth with fire. Christ will then return in vengeance to bring wrath and Divine Judgment upon the unsaved Earth just before He sets up the initial stage His physical Kingdom on Earth. After God's renovation upon the Earth with fire; and Divine Judgment upon the unsaved, Gods promised Earthly Kingdom will first begin in Jerusalem (according to prophecy). At that time Christ will be seated upon the Throne of His Father David in Jerusalem and the Law of God will flow from Zion. Zion is where King David's earthly throne existed in Israel.

During the 1000 year reign of Christ with all His saints, the physical and earthly Kingdom of Heaven will be established in Jerusalem. In Jerusalem, the Bridegroom and the Bride begin their honeymoon (on physical earth for 1000 years). Zech. 14:5, Rev. 19:11, 1 Thess. 3:13, Jude 14. This promised Kingdom (or honeymoon between the Bride and Bridegroom) will first begin in Jerusalem and later spread throughout the entire Earth during the Millennial Reign of Christ who reigns on Earth with all His glorified saints. Preaching and redemption continues on Earth for 1000 years until the White Throne Judgment. Rev. 14:6. At that time Divine Judgment is made upon the wicked dead according to the Judge of all things.

At the end of the 1000 year reign of Christ (on physical Earth with all the saints) Heaven and Earth fled away (The Bride and the Bridegroom) go back to the Father before the Judgment of the Great White Throne. This Great and terrible Judgment will come upon the wicked dead. The Great White Throne Judgment is a bodily resurrection of the wicked dead, Rev. 20:11. In this Divine Judgment all the wicked dead; Death and Hell; and the Devil himself, are cast into the lake of fire, Rev. 20:14. At this time the first heaven and the first Earth will be passed away.

After Gods Great White Throne Judgment and the second death...the holy city, the heavenly Jerusalem descends back to Earth, prepared as a Bride. This Bride that descends is called the lambs wife, Rev. 21:9. Both the Bride and Bridegroom come back to the perfect earth to live for Eternity. The curse from the fall of Adam is lifted from the earth and from humanity, Rev. 22:3. At this time God pours out His Spirit upon "all flesh" as promised by the Prophet Joel and Ezekiel. Everything on Earth is completely restored as it was in the Garden of Eden before the fall. All humanity is restored! Complete restoration of Earth and humanity! No more redemption! Eternity now takes over where time existed. Everything is eternal! Heaven on Earth! Halleluiah! 1 Cor. 15: 24-28

The Rapture...God's Sanctification of the Church through the Spirit

2 Thessalonians 2:13...But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth

In the above passage Sanctification through the Spirit relates to the Churches "escape" from Divine Judgment as taught in the Thessalonian Letter. Divine Judgment is an event that will take place on Earth after the Rapture of the Church. Verses 1-12 of 2 Thessalonians... define in detail the "future Judgment" the Church will escape in the Rapture. "It is imperative to first read prior verses to understand the full context of this teaching."

Future Judgment is only for those who perish without Christ. God sends a strong delusion upon those who fell away and would not believe the love of the truth in this life. Future Judgment will allow the man of sin, the Anti-Christ, and the rise of Satan's Kingdom upon the Earth where there is no mercy or no Holy Spirit as we have today in this present Grace Age. In Future Judgment the Holy Spirit (the present hinderer of God's Wrath) will step out of the big picture. The Church will be "severed" or "cut away" from the unbelieving world and then the Anti-Christ will step in and take over for seven years as taught in Daniel's Prophecy. For further study review content in link below.

Biblical Facts about Daniel and the Holy Spirit, the Hinderer of God's Wrath

Sanctification through the Spirit in the above passage means to sever, to set aside, and/or to cut away. God severs and cuts away His body of believers in the Rapture of the Church. This cutting away is God's method of providing safety for His Church to escape future Wrath and Judgment. The Church, God's body of believer's consists of those who have obtained a moral holiness and a moral righteousness from belief in the truth about Christ in the present life. The members of this body obey the Gospel which in turn cleanses the heart from sin. This Sanctification through the Spirit takes place when God takes out this body of believers from an unbelieving world. Sanctification through the Spirit will be for those who accepted Christ and were obedient to His Holy presence in this life. Sanctification through the Spirit will be for those who did not fall away. Sanctification through the Spirit will be for those who are constantly, "Rapture ready with a clean heart". To meet with Christ in the Rapture...where the dead and Christ will rise and those who are alive will be caught up to meet with Him in the air.

Prelude to the Rapture, "Now in this present Age"

As the closing of this present Age draws near, God is saving and preparing the hearts of men and women around the globe. As most of us know Salvation of the human soul only comes from the Lord Jesus Christ. There is no other way to find forgiveness for your sins. The prelude of the Rapture is the sign of the times, "Now in this present Age". People are waxing more cold and more callous to the truth about Christ. Look around! Sexuality is becoming more perverted in our youth. Drugs, Divorce, Alcohol, and gambling are so socially acceptable that there is no turning back for the masses. This type of immorality has become a way of life for multitudes of people around the globe. Religious activity is rampant without the "work of the Holy Spirit" or "forgiveness of sins granted by God through Christ".

Its obvious! According to the Bible the curtain will come down in these "latter days". When the curtain comes down the Church goes "up" in the Rapture. When the curtain comes down the ministry of God's Wrath and Judgment will begin to take place upon the Earth. The Church will be gone. God's Mercy will be gone. The Holy Spirit will be gone. Why? In the Rapture of the Church, The Holy Spirit and the members of Christ's body will "escape" this beginning of Satan's Kingdom on Earth. All of Christ's blessed body goes up to meet with Him in the air, in the twinkling of an eye then the AntiChrist under the dominion of Satan will "step in" and all of Hell will break loose on Earth.

This is why the Church "now" is ready with Redemption, Salvation, and Holiness of heart. Being a member of "the Church now" means the heart is clean and prepared for the "upward calling of the Rapture of the Church". Then God shall sound the "last trump" and the curtain will come down. The members of Christ's body (a holy people) will escape. Make note that all the ungodliness and immorality going on around you are only signs of the Prelude of the Rapture. According to John's Revelation we are in the final and last Age which is a miniature picture of the Church of the Laodicians. A self sufficient Church increased with goods and in need of nothing...accept one thing? The clean heart made clean by Christ Jesus.

Give all attention to a Savior. Be ready for the curtain coming down my Brothers and Sisters. Make sure on a minute by minute basis that every sin in your heart is forgiven and God will take you out of the unbelieving world in the Rapture of the Church. You don't want to miss the Rapture when Satan and the Antichrist step in and reign Earth for seven years! Without the Church! Without the Holy Spirit! Without the mercy of God that sinners have now in this Church age. Without mercy Satan's crowd will run over you. Tribulation and Wrath will come upon the Earth that's beyond human imagination or comprehension.

At present we are in the Prelude of the Rapture. Keep your eyes on Christ and be ready for the "upward call".

I have written numerous Blogs on this subject. I have written since the origin of this Blog. I also write at other Blogs for the edification of God's Children around the globe. Search Rick Roehm or Churches on Trial for further Theological study. I admit Theology will not make the heart clean but the clean heart can have a deeper knowledge and a deeper faith "prepared" for when God takes the Church out in the Rapture. Make sure you are among that number of people that will escape the Judgment of an angry God during the beginning of Satan's dominion.

Be ready! Make sure where you stand minute by minute! To be a child of God is easy. When Christ comes in, sin goes out! That simple. Walk in the Spirit every moment and be blessed with the Christian experience of a clean heart. God Bless all of you! With love! Be ready for the Rapture!

God's preparation for the Rapture and the AntiChrist revealed

Distinction between the Rapture of the Church and the Return of Christ with all the Saints.

1. The Rapture of the Church is when all saints alive and dead are taken to Heaven and removed from Wrath of God’s Divine Judgment predicted to come upon the Earth after the Church is taken out.

· 1 Thess 4:16-17…For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

God’s mercy removes the saints from this predicted covenant of Satan’s Kingdom under the directive of the man of sin. The Rapture provides an escape for the child of God from the Wrath and Judgment of God that will occur during the seven year Tribulation period.

2. The return of Christ with all the saints is distinctly different from the Church being caught up in the Rapture to meet with Christ in the air. Why? When Christ returns with all the Saints, two things take place that are different than in the Rapture. 1. Christ comes back in Divine Wrath to Judge an ungodly world without mercy. 2. After Divine Judgment is executed, Christ brings all the saints from Heaven with him to establish His Kingdom on Earth.

· 1 Thess 3:13…To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.

· Jude 14-15…And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints

· 2 Thess 1:7-8…when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

· Rev 19:11-15…And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

In the Rapture, the Body of Christ is removed from Earth before the man of Sin takes over. When the Church is taken out so likewise is the mercy of God from upon the earth. The hinderer of Gods mercy (The Holy Spirit) steps aside after the Rapture of the Church, which in turn allows the man of Sin to step in and confirm the Covenant as prophesied in Daniel 9:27. From the Apostle Paul’s knowledge of the Old Testament he understood the return of our Lord in Divine Wrath. Having converted from Law to Grace by the power of a resurrected Lord, revelation of the Church which was a mystery in other Ages was thus revealed to Paul by the Spirit of God.

· Eph 3:3-5… How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit

The Anti-Christ foreseen by Paul and predicted by Daniel provides a basis for the Tribulation that takes place after the Rapture of the Church.

The next verse is a highly misinterpreted verse however contradiction is taken away when timeframes are established correctly. The Holy Spirit that held back the powers of Satan* through the ages, thus steps aside and the man of sin steps in. The falling away mentioned is present tense activity as the closing of this Age prepares the child of God for the Rapture of the Church. By looking to Christ the child of God has a God given escape from Tribulation that is yet to come. When the Church is caught up to meet with Christ in the air the wickedness of Satan’s Kingdom allows Great Tribulation to take place, as never known before to man. During the Gentile reign of the Anti-Christ the Abomination of Desolation (like placing swine on the alter as a sacrifice) spoken of by Jesus (Matthew 24:15) will take place in the Jewish Temple. The Anti-Christ will thus exalt himself above God.

· 2 Thess 2:3-10…Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what withholdeth* that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let,* until he be taken out of the way*. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish;

More Biblical evidence on the Rapture of the Church

The Rapture is a believer's "calling upward to meet Christ in the air". This upward call was taught by the Apostles Peter, John, and Paul. This upward call known as the Rapture of the Church is the believer's deliverance and escape from God's Future Judgment and Wrath that takes place on Earth during the Great Tribulation of (7) years. Members of the body of Christ (the Church) "will not" go through Tribulation and Wrath on Earth as taught in the book of John's future Revelation. The Rapture is God's blessing upon believer's in Christ... at the end of this Age. The Rapture is God's final Judgment upon the Church which calls those both, who are dead and alive... to meet with Christ in the air. This union in the air is the child of God's escape from God's future Judgment.

The revelation of the Rapture comes from the Holy Spirit's inward work and testimony of Jesus Christ to the human soul.  The Holy Spirit prepares the heart of a child of God for the Rapture. The Rapture became a New Testament revelation that dealt specifically with the Church (the spiritual body of Christ) that Jesus purchased with His own blood. Acts 20:28. The Rapture is an operation of God's plan for both Jews and Gentiles that flowed from the death of a Savior. The Rapture is an operation of God that tore down the entity of the Law for Israel only; and ushered in Grace and the New Testament to both Jew and Gentile. This miraculous work of God's Plan formed the Church, the spiritual body of believers worldwide. Within God's plan this entity was a creation of the Church which is primarily believers in Christ that are  spiritually united with God through the Spirit and faith in Christ. The believer's union with the Spirit of God is what reveals freedom and deliverance from sin and the future temporal world that will perish according to Old Testament Prophecy.

John's revelation given by the Spirit of God (after the death of a Savior) strongly teaches about the Rapture of the Church and implies being "called out" or "caught up" to meet Christ in the air. The language of the following verse stated by the Apostle John says,"Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter"...

Rev. 4:1-2...After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

Students must consider that John was exiled to the Island of Patmos as God revealed the writing of the book of Revelation to John's heart and thinking. John was exiled because of his profession as a preacher and confession of Christ as  personal Lord and Savior. John was an Apostle ordained by Christ during the earthly ministry of Christ. John's heart and life was liberated by Christ (after the death and resurrection) when he was baptized with the Holy Ghost and fire on the day of Pentecost. From that point on John boldly preached and stood for the power of a resurrected Christ until he was exiled to Patmos where God revealed to John's heart what would take place "after" the Rapture of Church.

Only the first (4) chapters of John's future Revelation deal with the Church. It must be understood that God takes His spiritual body of believers in Christ out of a world that will suffer and perish during the Great Tribulation. It must also be understood that Israel and Israel's  rejection of the promised Messiah are the primary focus of John's future Revelation. Only the first (4) chapters of John's Revelation deal with the Church. Afterwards (after the Rapture of the Church) Tribulation, Wrath, and Judgment takes place and the Church and all of its members never go through such devastation. wrath, and Judgment. The Church escapes what is taught in the remaining 18 chapters of  John's  Revelation.

John walked with Christ during his Earthly ministry and preached the Kingdom message to Israel. That message was rejected by Israel. John dedicated his life to preaching New Testament Grace to both Jews and Gentiles "after" the death of Christ. That was ushered in after Israel rejected the Kingdom Message and their promised King. After John was exiled to Patmos he was given Divine Revelation of things that were to come upon both the Church and Israel. John wrote as God revealed to his heart...

Rev. 4:2...Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter

Come up hither (related to being caught up to meet with Christ in the Rapture) and being showed things that would take place hereafter. Hereafter what? After the Church is taken out (Raptured) to escape Judgment and Wrath promised to come upon Israel.  God will confirm such revelation and truth to the holy and studious heart. Enjoy your studies.

The Antichrist “revealed” after the Rapture; and “destroyed” by Christ at the end of the seven year Jewish Tribulation

When the hindering work of the omnipresence of the Holy Spirit is recognized, the Rapture of the Church and the Antichrist are both revealed clearly in the Scriptures. When the Antichrist is revealed prophetic truth from the Bible becomes clearer. The mystical Antichrist was predicted by Daniel the Prophet, Saint John the Revelator, and the Apostles Peter and Paul. The Antichrist confirms one week (or seven years) of Daniel’s seventy week prophecy.

Dan 9:27...And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week.

The Antichrist will operate under Satan’s reign until the end of the seven year Tribulation. This Jewish Tribulation is broken into two… 3 ½ year periods.

In the first period of this Jewish Tribulation the Antichrist or the man of Sin will confirm his covenant upon Israel according to Daniel’s prophecy. In the second 3 ½ year period of this Jewish Tribulation the Antichrist will break this covenant with Israel and do what Jesus called the Abomination of Desolation also prophesied by Daniel the Prophet.

Dan 9:27...and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease...

Matt 24:15...When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place,

This Abomination of Desolation will shame and reproach the holiness of Gods Law given to Israel (much like Epiphanies did during Israel’s Gentile captivity by defiling the temple of God and offering swine to God from the alter in the Temple). This profane act by a Gentile ruler was an abomination to God and an abomination to the holiness of God's Divine Law given to Israel. In the second 3 ½ year period of the Great Tribulation the Antichrist will rise out of the Beast, a Gentile one world government. (Also called a Little Horn in)

Dan 7:8...among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots:

Rev 17:11-14... And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

At the end of the seven year tribulation the whole world will turn against Israel. The world military force gathers together to battle against Israel at Armageddon.

Rev 19:19... And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

At that time Christ purges the Earth through renovation with fire.

2 Peter 3:10-11...But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved...

2 Thess 1:7-9...when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

At the end of the seven year Tribulation the Antichrist will be “destroyed” through the brightness of Christ’s coming.

2 Thess 2:8...And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

When Christ returns in Divine Judgment with flaming fire he will have his Church with Him. After the Earth is renovated by fire... Christ will set up His Kingdom of Heaven in Jerusalem as the saints will reign with Him for a thousand years. This is the beginning of the Millennial Reign of Christ.
