Test your faith…

Is the actual experience and testimony of the child of God different today, than during the period of New Testament writings?

Is the Church, the body of Christ the same today as it was then, 2009 years ago? Are we likewise members of the same body of Christ as the early Apostles? Were the Apostles Paul, Peter, James, and John different than present day Christian’s or vice versa?

Can a Christian live without sin in this present world of modern distraction’s unlike distraction’s during the first century?

Should present Christian lifestyle be in line with lives of men who kept records of the Christian experience after the death and ascension of Christ? Should Christianity be the same today as it was in the early Church?

What kept men of God during the early church in harmony with Christ’s death, burial, resurrection, and ascension? Why were men obedient to Christ back then? Was it mere faith; the work of the Spirit; or a combination of both? At present should a Christian’s faith and obedience to Christ be different than a Christian’s faith and obedience was to Christ during the first century?

Why were New Testament writers (after the death of Christ) in subjection to an ascended Christ? Should a child of God behave differently today, 2009 years since Christ’s ascension?

How were New Testament writers able to endure temptation?

Why did the writers of New Testament Epistles instruct believers to depart from sin? What made them over comers to worldly deception and snares that came from the wicked one? What gave those men of God the ability to resist the Devil? Should we experience and testify to this same victory?

Is the power of Christ given to us today, as it was to them 2009 years ago? Is the power of Christ different in 2009 than during the first century? Does the power of God’s Grace written about in New Testament Epistles apply to present day Christians?

What keeps men of God sensitive, aware, and conscious, to the Holy Spirit’s presence? Did the Apostles at the Early Church compromise truth revealed in their hearts, to abstain from sin? What compelled them to testify and write about a moral change experienced through the power of a living Christ?

Is this same power available today? Should our personal experience and testimony be the same as believer’s experienced and testified during and after the First Century? Be truthful. If you don’t know the answers… study your Bible. If you do know the answers…put them in action for the cause of Christ.

Here's what the Gospel is. Inspired by Brother Mike Gehler

Old Testament Gospel ...Christ concealed...but revealed to holy men of God...the Prophets.

New Testament Gospel...Christ Revealed by the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the Church...through the Apostles and Prophets.

Is the Gospel Old Testament Scriptures...Yes! What were the Scriptures? Promises given about Christ in the Old Testament records. They were prophetic utterances made by holy men of God. Isaiah, David, Moses, Abraham, etc...

Rom 1:1-5... Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,(Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,) Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: By whom we have received grace and apostleship

1 Cor 15:1-4...Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

The New Testament was not even written when Paul wrote to the Romans and Corinthians. Paul knew the Gospel was concealed in the Old Testament Prophecies...That Gospel was prophetic truth about Christ and His death, burial, and resurrection. That truth was preserved in the Holy Scriptures given to the Jewish nation. It was passed down through the Ages. (6000 years) It was concealed throughout humanity and given to the Hebrew and Jewish nation. The preservation of the Old Testament records is a miracle in itself! The preservation of the New Testament is also a miracle!

After the death of a Saviour... Christ commanded the Gospel be carried into "all" the world! The Apostles in the first century carried this Gospel message to Israel first but later introduced it to the Gentile World. This revelation was given by the ministry of the Holy Spirit. It spread like wildfire for two Millennium's where today its even being written about on this Blog. The Gospel is the truth about Christ concealed in Old Testament Scriptures...but revealed in the New Testament Epistles...even today in Cincinnati Ohio.

The Gospel is the basis of the Christian faith. Our faith should lie in the Gospel. Why? It's the truth of God's Old Testament promises confirmed to our hearts and minds! It's the truth of the Prophets confirmed by the New Testament Apostles! It's the truth of the Psalms confirmed! It was confirmed by Christ when He came and died at Calvary. It's confirmed today in the Church, where Christ rules from the Throneroom. It's confirmed today through Christ's spiritual body purchased with His own Blood. It's confirmed when someone like me or you is saved and forgiven because of Christ. Forgiveness of sins comes from the power of the Gospel. Divine healing comes from the power of the Gospel. Miracles from the Throneroom come from the power of the Gospel. Hallelujah!

Isaiah the Prophet asked this question? Lord, who hath believed our report? Isa. 53:1 What was the report? The report was the Gospel of Christ's death, burial, and resurrection...concealed. The Holy Spirit revealed that Divine revelation to Isaiah! Paul said the Gospel was "promised afore" by God...and recorded in the Scriptures. The Scriptures were the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms concerning Christ. Old Testament records.

Luke 24:44-45...And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

God put this writer into the ministry to enlighten people to the Glorious Gospel of Christ! This writer is not ashamed of the Gospel for it is the power of God unto Salvation...to the Jew first and also to the Greek. Gentiles may not understand what the Gospel really is but it's my job to tell them. Christ becomes real when men are enlightened to the Gospel. Miracles are a result of the Gospel and this writer is one of those miracles.

God showed me what the Gospel really is! I tell others what the Gospel really is! It's the basis of our faith! It's the truth about Christ! If you never learn anything else in life...learn the Gospel...the true Gospel.

I suggested to Brother Mike. Memorize Romans 1:1-5 and I Corinthians 15:1-4. Get it deep into your mind and thinking. Keep it in memory! Would you care to indulge? The Gospel will bless your life. I'm getting Blessed writing about it! Glory!

2 Cor 4:3-6...But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Hubert Lindsey (audios)

As I have endeavored to carry on Brother Lindsey's ministry... at present 20 audios are posted at this Blog. These recordings include much depth from the Bible...especially matters that pertain to making the distinction between Law given to Israel and Grace given to the Church.

Other teaching audios cover subjects such as Tithing, the security of the Believer, why Christians are not carnal, Original Sin, etc.

Certain audios speak of Brother Lindsey's early years in the ministry throughout his years of preaching on the West coast in the Berkeley campus setting and in the open air for the cause of Christ. Some even pertain to his Apostleship at the Church at Birmingham...in Birmingham Mi.

I have years of work to do to continue posting this material to the public..as Brother Lindsey requested before he died. The Internet has opened doors to continue this ministry. Brother Lindsey smiles from Heaven everyday as these timeless messages continue to bring life to all the hearers.

I do this work with joy in Christ... to bring honor to God...and to carry on the Apostles doctrine... that was not only preserved on audios but written in the tables of this writers heart.

There will be more audios coming and much knowledge shared at this Blog for Christ. May it bless you the reader as much as it does this writer to continue what God started through Brother Lindsey's ministry and what is left behind for "us" to carry on until Christ comes to Rapture His Church.

Many blessings! More Hubert Lindsey audio teachings and testimonies coming!
