As a voice for God, I also am honored to carry on this ministry for Christ, at present and for the past 24 years. This site (Churches on Trial) is now reaching people for Christ and teaching the Bible, around the world. Glory! Brother Hubert T. Lindsey who inspired this writer to make this Internet site... preached Christ, recorded sermons, and impacted lives for Christ his whole life for 8o+ years on this side of Heaven. Hubert T. Lindsey a.k.a...Holy Hubert was and still is a voice for God today as a result of the Internet. Hubert Lindsey as a voice for God (and dear Brother in Christ) is worth mentioning and remembering. His voice still echoes Christ today in 2011. Hubert Lindsey is a major reason why I created this Blog site.
Hubert Lindsey preached Christ (thoroughly) around the United States for decades. He impacted lives and recorded sermons because he knew their worth in the future. He made radio broadcasts about the Bible because he knew the worth of his Biblical knowledge and witness for Christ. Today, a dear Brother (Jim Denton) and myself have hundreds of sermons recorded by Brother Lindsey that merit future publication. We both have endeavored for years to carry on this ministry. The voice of Hubert Lindsey needs to be heard around the world. His strong message about Christ, the Gospel, and vast amounts of Bible truth were recorded and preserved according to the will of God. Hubert knew this. Rick Roehm knows this, and anyone who finds the worth that stems from this vast Biblical Truth will learn and experience this for themselves.
Christ in the Throneroom is preparing hearts for His soon return. Holiness is the fruit of this message and ministry. Holiness was and is the object of Hubert Lindsey's ministry. The voice of God and the voice of men of God proclaims loudly, "Be ye holy as I am holy, thus sayeth the Lord". It takes backbone to preach holiness against an unholy world. Hubert Lindsey had Spirit filled backbone to pave the way. He had mercy, compassion, and love for humanity. Anyone will discover this fact when they hear the voice of Hubert Lindsey. Hubert Lindsey was a preacher, minister, teacher, evangelist, Theologian, Apostle, and called man of God. God used the voice of Hubert T. Lindsey for many decades. Check out his sermons at this site.
We offer preaching, teaching, radio broadcasts, Church services, and a complete Bible Theology for those whose desire to hear and learn the Word of God. Hubert Lindsey rightly divided the Word of God an laid foundations that stand for the long haul. Search this Blog site. Listen to the voice of Brother Hubert Lindsey. Allow God to minister truth and holiness to your heart and soul. God Bless and thanks for stopping by the Churches on Trial Blog that God used Google to publish for the cause of Christ. Jesus cried over Israel's rejection...
Luke 19...And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen; Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples. And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out. And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.
As a foundation of this Blog I have to go back to one week before the crucifixion of Christ. The Kingdom of Heaven message was rejected by Israel as a nation and so was the Promised King. God had promised the King and the Kingdom message to be presented to Israel. Isreal rejected both. It broke Jesus' heart to witness the attitude of rejection that came from the nation of Isreal His home country and fellowkinsmen. Jesus mourned, He sorrowed, and He cried. He cried because Israel rejected God's promised earthly Kingdom which is a hugh portion of prophetic truth contained in the Old Testament records. Jesus cried because Israel rejected the ones (the twelve and the seventy) He sent out preaching, "The Kingdom of Heaven was at hand". The message of the Kingdom to Isreal had to be presented! The Apostles, John the Baptist, and Jesus himself presented it! If the Kingdom message would not have been presented for the first three years of Jesus' ministry... even the stones would have cried out!
Luke 19:40-41...And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out. And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,
In Matthew's account of these final days of Christ he spoke of Jesus literally withering the fig tree. This literal withering of the fig tree was actually a pronounciation of Judgment by Christ upon Israel for their rejection of the promised King and the Kingdom message. It broke Jesus' heart to do such because the Kingdom of Heaven promised from the foundation of the world was rejected and therefore postponed until the 1000 year reign of Christ.
Matt 21:19-20... And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away. And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!
Marks account of Jesus's literal curse upon the fig tree spoke as such.
Mark 11:20-21... And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away
After Christ realized that Israel "lacked faith" so much that the Kingdom could not be established He wept over Israel. He knew their lack of faith. He knew their backslidden state. He knew their rejection of the Torah. He knew their rejection of the Messiah. It sorrowed Christ in His heart for the pronunciation of Judgement that was to come. The curse of the fig tree actually pointed to Israel's future destruction of the Temple in 70AD. Jesus foretold this destruction. Aniel foretold this destruction. The curse of the fig tree also pointed to Israel's lack of faith and doubtful rejection of the Messiahship of Christ.
When Jesus spoke of Israel having faith the size of a mustard seed He wasn't praising Israel... He was reproving them for their lack of faith and rejection of the King and the promised Kingdom. In Matthew you have these definative words about faith concerning if they would have recieved the Kingdom on earth...which was the Kingdom of Heaven.
Matt 21:21...Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
This moving of a mountain that Jesus spoke of was a "literal moving of mountains" just like the withering of the fig tree was a "literal withering of the fig tree" that pointed to Jesus' pronounciation of Divine Judgement upon Israel. You see...in the Kingdom on Earth (The Kingdom of Heaven) those who reign with Christ will have power over tangible Earth just like Christ had. That is how Peter walked on water. In the Kingdom Age...Jesus gave the disclples power over tangible earth, natural law, demons, scorpions, the weather, etc. Whatever they would say or would do would happen. Man was to have dominion over the natural laws of Earth in the Promised Kingdom. When Jesus wept the Earthly Kingdom was postponed until after the Rapture of the Church. Many things happened when Jesus wept!

PS...If Israel would not have rejected their own Torah...they would have recogized the Messiahship of Christ. The Torah spoke of Christ. Unfortunately, Israel followed the teaching of the Talmud more than the Torah which is the first five books of the Bible. Jesus taught the Torah.

Annual Fish Fry at the Upper Room
Every year we have a couple of Fish Fry's at the Upper Room. My son Chad and I catch the fish in the local waters of Southwestern Ohio. Last night we had our Spring Fish Fry and held Sunday service afterwards. The food was great! The fellowship was great! And, the communion in the Holy Ghost was beautiful!
The Lord's Body is beautiful! It is joined together by the ministry of the Holy Spirit. We are a family of God build together in love and unity. Jesus is our Saviour. The Word of God is the basis for our faith. When we come together as a people for Christ we can share food, love, fellowship, and just a good time together in Christ. Glory! Everyone was happy and blessed!
Brother Jim and Chasity (my daughter) took the pictures posted on this Blog. A great time in the Lord. Our food menu consisted of:
Batter dipped Ohio grown fish
Batter dipped Chicken Strips
Onion rings
French Fries
Caramel Cheesecake
Chocolate Mint Cheesecake
For dessert we had a little Word and a nice message by Rick Roehm for the glory of Christ. Our church has been open now going on the forth year. We are blessed and very thankful.

Has Jesus became real to you?
The reality of Jesus is how Jesus morally changes the believing heart. Man's initial change first begins when forgiveness is found through the power of God's Grace. Forgiveness is an experience that flows from Calvary into the believing heart. The reality of forgiveness is a conscience freed from the guilt of sin. Only the Grace of God can free the human conscience from the guilt of sin. This is the "real" blessing of God's Grace found through and acceptance of Christ as Saviour and Redeemer. It's a blessing that offers true contentment and peace to the human soul that can be found from no other source within humanity. It's a blessing that's only found when Jesus becomes real to you. You can know every sin has been forgiven when Jesus becomes real in your heart and life. Jesus has power to cleanse the heart of fallen man from sin. Jesus is real as His merciful hand reaches out to humanity. Has Jesus became real to you? Make sure He has. You can know every sin is forgiven. You can know you are in rightstanding with God at all times. All it takes is a clean heart that is cleansed by the blood of Jesus. Has Jesus became real to you?

Holy Hubert Lindsey...a preacher who was tried with many circumstances but stayed true to God
On one of the audios by Brother Lindsey I heard several years ago he testified about a loss of property that he once experienced. It was in regards to an apartment building (owned by Brother Lindsey) that was lost in a fire. Brother Lindsey made a statement about this loss that has stuck with me for over 20 years. He said God showed him these 4 things listed below in this Blog. I made note of these 4 things as I have thus pondered them time and time again in my personal ministry for the past 20 years. I'd like to share them with you at the Churches on Trial.
The Enthronement of Christ
The sufficiency of God
The power of a resurrected Saviour
The ministry of the Holy Spirit
May they bless you as much as they have this preacher. I thank God that Brother Lindsey shared them with me. Now, as writer of this Blog...I know why. God Bless!

If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross
Last night we had a beautiful service at the Upper Room. The sermon was about the final hours of the Lord Jesus Christ on Earth during His crucifixion. The Spirit ministered to our hearts about how personal Salvation stems from the suffering Saviour who could have came down off the cross because He was God in the flesh. When Jesus stepped down from His heavenly position He became a man, yet as the Son of God He had power to do anything within human comprehension, but didn't. God's plan for fallen man far out weighs human comprehension. Notice the Scriptures written by Matthew as the people observed our Saviour in public shame.
Matt 27:40...If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.
Matt 27:42...If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.
Jesus was mocked by humanity. He was ridiculed by the Pharisees yet there was no guile found in His mouth. He was "made" sin who knew no sin, that "we" might be made the righteousness of God in Him. He bore the punishment for sin in His fleshly body at Calvary yet His soul did not see corruption. He could have come down off the cross and proved that He had power to do so..but didn't. Jesus by the Grace of God tasted suffering and death so that you and I could be saved and redeemed from eternal separation from God. When Jesus suffered on the cross He tasted death for fallen man.
Heb 2:9-10...But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
Christ tasted death for you and I. He could have came down off the cross because He had the power to do so...but didn't according to the plan of God. His compassion and mercy for fallen man can not be described in His suffering. His love for fallen man cannot be described as He hung on the cross in public shame. Did He have power to come down from the cross and prove He was God? Yes, but if He would have come down from the cross you and I would not have had any means of redemption. Redemption flows from Calvary. The Holy Spirit was given to humanity through the Church that was birthed at Calvary. If Jesus would have come down off the cross the Church wouldn't have been birthed. Mosaic Law would not have ceased and Grace would not have begun.
During the ninth hour (after darkness was over all the land) Jesus commended His Spirit into the hands of the Father and cried out, "It is finished"...and then He gave up the ghost. The son of God had power to come down off the cross but didn't... so you and I could be saved. Glory!
