We are going the third year at the Churches on Trial Blog for Christ. Glory! Much has been accomplished for the cause of Christ. Our endeavors to "revive" the ministry of the late Hubert T. Lindsey a man sent by Christ, is now going around the globe. Christ is being glorified in Brother Lindsey's teachings! Also you can find a complete Bible Theology in these timeless studies. Why? Because Brother Lindsey covers every aspect the Bible for those who desire to further their knowledge in the Scriptures.
For those of you who wonder why this site is called the Churches on Trial. The reason is we preach and teach straight Bible Truth and do not conform to denominational teachings. Our intent is to reach men for Christ and rightly divide the Holy Scriptures. We encourage people to depend on Christ and the truth of the Bible. Sometimes these teachings stir certain doctrinal positions or Church bodies. Our intent is to teach Bible Truth the way its written for your edification. By doing such we tear down walls of false indoctrination, and fortify those who are studious for Christ.
Sometimes this puts other Churches or Church bodies on Trial, or brings them to a reckoning of Truth. Our desire is to let God's Will be done. Thanks for stopping by and growing with us in the Grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. We love you. God Bless you. Much more to come in the year of 2012. Don't forget to check out the latest YouTube videos created and posted by a dear Brother in Chicago who loves God and this ministry. Check out the link below for the latest in great Bible Theology.

Spiritual Gifts are given (in local bodies) to manifest Christ, the Head of the Church
Within this great body of Christ that reaches around the globe Christ ordains the local house of faith in each one of our geographic locations. Within these local bodies God sets in Elders to rule and govern each local body. In the midst Christ is the Head and the truth of His Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path.
Men of God and leaders in these local bodies are subject to the directive of Christ through the power and presence of His Holy Spirit. Christ is the center of attraction. Christ is the one who the Holy Spirit reveals. Christ is the one who gets all the glory.
The manifestation of the gifts spoken of in 1 Cor. 12:1-11 are gifts that manifest the operation of a living Christ. These gifts of the Holy Spirit did not cease in the Early Church and there is no evidence in the Bible to declare such ideal. Christ is the same today from the Throneroom as He was when He walked the earth. He is the head of all things and by Him all things exist. His gifts manifest according to His Divine will and His Divine purpose.
When gifts from God manifest in the local body the turbines in Heaven generate power above human intelligence and human comprehension. The manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit are something that God does. God divides severally as He will. “Not man”. These gifts bring glory to Christ the Head… and magnify His name above all names. If man got the glory for gifts(instead of Christ) man would become, “puffed up with pride”.
The word “power” in Greek is dunamis. Dunamis is the root word for dynamo which simply means something that generates power. The power of God is manifested as God releases the generation of power from Heaven within the manifestation of these 9 gifts mentioned in 1 Cor. 12:1-11.
WORD OF KNOWLEDGE: A word or message of God’s divine knowledge revealed to the human being.
WORD OF WISDOM: A word or message of God’s divine wisdom revealed to the human being.
DISCERNING OF SPIRITS: A divine revelation to the human being as to whether certain utterances or behaviours are of God, of man, or of the powers of darkness.
GIFTS OF HEALING: A supernatural dimension of healing is manifested to heal physical, emotional or spiritual infirmities.
MIRACLES: An impossibility becomes a reality through the intervention of God.
FAITH: A temporary extra measure of faith, which God adds to a Christian’s, own faith, to give the necessary confidence to carry out God’s will at a particular time.
PROPHECY: Proclaiming a message of divine truth revealing God’s will.
TONGUES (PUBLIC UTTERANCE): A public proclamation of words in a spiritual language that God understands.
INTERPRETATION OF TONGUES: A response to the public utterance of tongues which can either give an explanation of the general meaning of the words previously spoken in a spiritual language or God’s answer to those words.
These gifts are manifested in local bodies to magnify Christ. Men are to bring honor to Christ, the head of the Church. Glory to Christ! He’s exalted! He’s alive. His gifts in the local bodies are to bring glory to Him! Honor Him! Be subject to Him! Your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost…therefore glorify Him in your body and spirit which are His. His realities of truth and power (based on His Word) are for beyond human intellect, ideals, or reasoning.
He divides these gifts severally as He will.

All haved sinned and fall short of the Glory of God
The New Testament Epistle of Romans teaches us that...all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, but alot of times people go on without reading the next few verses in context! Notice the language of verse 23! ALL HAVE SINNED! PAST TENSE! Something you did in your past life.
Rom 3:23...For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Let's go on! Without reading on further that verse can be misleading to some. When taking the verse by itself and not reading further on some will conclude and say that Christian's are a bunch of sinners. Not true! What does the next few verses teach?
Rom 3:24-26...Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
Let's break it down! When understanding Paul's statement in verse 23 to be statement regarding the past life of a man without Christ, a different picture is painted about what man is after he's redeemed by Christ.
Verse 24 speaks of the sinner being justified freely by God's Grace. It goes on to say that Divine Grace is found through redemption that comes from the shed blood and crucifixion of Christ. This is where God given righteousness to the human soul comes to the believing heart. The Bible teaches this! Present tense righteousness is given to a believer when all past sins are remitted (forgiven) by God because of personal belief and trust in Christ's redemptive work. The source of God's declaration of righteousness comes through your personal faith (present tense) in Christ's redemptive work on the cross at Calvary. The greek language of the Bible calls this finished work of Christ a, propitiation.
A justified man "use to be" (past tense) a sinner, before he was justified. After justification by Grace is experienced... man is forgiven, pardoned, and declared righteous based on the effects of Calvary. A righteous man is a man that's made righteous by the Grace of God in the present tense. He is no longer unrighteous. He walks and lives righteous. Present tense righteousness in the heart of man, given by God's Grace does not produce and unrighteous life or sinful conduct. The Bible teaches Christian's are holy and righteous in the eyes of God. The Bible does not condone sin or sinful living. As a matter of fact the Bible condemns sin and sinful conduct in the life of a believer in Christ. Man made concepts have twisted the truth of God's Word to a point where holiness and right living is not taught anymore. Sad but true!
Let's examine the Grace of God that brings Salvation that is powerful enough to give man a clean heart and a desire live and do right. As mentioned above...All "have sinned" (past tense) before Grace came in...but Christian's who have the power of God's Divine Grace don't have to sin anymore. They are no longer rebels against the authority of Christ. Christians are subject to Christ's Holy presence, every minute, every hour, every day. Children of God can have a constant victory over sin by the power of God's Grace that is maintained daily, by a life of obedience to Christ.
Study this passage in Romans to see if it be so...May the Spirit of Holiness give revelation to the truth of Christ's power and presence in our lives. The Christ I speak of... changes people, "Morally" by the Grace of God. Glory! The Bible tells me so!

With God you can say "no"
A child of God is so blessed to be God's property and God's ownership. Dedication to God brings honor to God above all things. One of the greatest blessings a child of God can have in this life is the God given ability to tell the world "no" to worldly things. God gives His children the ability to keep from stepping across the line. Children of God can keep themselves on the right side of the line. Children of God have the right to say no to things that are wrong. This is called keeping your life in order with God. Order brings God's confirmation to the heart and soul. You can say, "no" when necessary. By doing such you will always be on the right side of the line.

Brother Hubert Lindsey - audios
Many audios (previously archived at this site) were lost due to a large migration between (2) web-sites. Not sure if it will ever be tied back together until I cross-link, re-organize, and combine the new addresses.
The Holy Hubert/Hubert T./ Lindsey audio library from sermon.net is still available at the following temporary site. Just scroll through and find the audios you desire to hear.
Until I get this vast library (that I sorted and archived for years) re-organized, or re-created at a new website - only the following temporary link Archive list - Holy Hubert audios - library will work in personal studies - at least until further changes are made - to cross-link the (2) sites as cross-linked before.
All the Hubert Lindsey audios collected over the past 15 years and archived can be found at the following archive...just scroll through and find the one you care to review for study.
Thank you for your patience in this matter. Christ is behind this ministry.

Are you a believer in Christ or not?
Believer’s in Christ live right in the eyes of God because the believing heart is made clean and holy by the Saving Grace of God. Many claim to believe in Christ but live like devils. Who are they kidding? Surely not God. Be not deceived. True believer’s know every sin is forgiven and the heart is clean and right. Reason? Believers in Christ receive the power of God’s Grace that morally changes man from a state of depravity to a state of holiness. Big difference. So, are you a believer in Christ or not?
