Isa 9:6-7...For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment
Did you notice that prophecy foretold that Jesus would be... Mighty God. Also the... Everlasting Father.
Think about Jesus as the Everlasting Father. The one who cares for all of His children. A great lesson can be found in this verse this Fathers Day.

LET'S SEE: HE ALLOWED HIMSELF TO BE SLASHED OPEN BY WHIPS, HOBBLED BY CLUBS,A CROWN OF THORNS TO BE DRIVEN INTO HIS HEAD, PEOPLE TO SPIT ON HIM, HIS HANDS AND FEET TO BE NAILED TO A CROSS WITH RAILROAD LIKE SPIKES, SPEARS TO BE DRIVEN INTO HIS SIDES, AND OH YEA HIS LIFE TO BE SLOWLY DRAINED FROM HIS BODY. HE DID ALL THIS SO THAT YOU WOULD NOT BE DENIED ENTRANCE INTO THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN! IS THERE ANYONE ELSE IN YOUR LIFE THAT WOULD BE WILLING TO ENDURE ALL THAT FOR YOU?
