Great Grace

The great Grace of God that saves the soul – from the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ is MUCH MORE of a blessing than blessings under law. Jewish men struggled to keep Law receive such blessings. Under Grace Christ on the cross took that struggle away and blessed men with the work of the Holy Spirit that gives (without human struggle). Grace freely given from God is so MUCH MORE that what man can struggle to achieve. Even the Apostle Paul, a Jew with strong Jewish background was able to grasp – this great revelation and Christian experience. MUCH MORE is the Biblical picture of God’s profound Grace that saves, redeems and supplies Salvation of the human soul. 

1.  Romans 5:9…MUCH MORE then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
2. Romans 5:10…For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, MUCH MORE, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
3. Romans 5:15… But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, MUCH MORE the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
4. Romans 5:17… For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; MUCH MORE they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
5. Romans 5:20… Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did MUCH MORE abound:

Joy and Rejoicing in the Epistle to the Philippians

Paul was always happy with Christ regardless of life’s circumstances. With joy he always knew the fruit of preaching Christ was imparted to Church members. Joy and rejoicing is the inward fruit of the gospel outwardly expressed.

1. Philippians 1:4… Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,

2. Philippians 1:18… What then? Notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice

3. Philippians 1:25-26… And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith; that you’re rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to you again.

4. Philippians 2:2... Fulfill ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

5. Philippians 2:16… Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

6. Philippians 2:17-18… Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all. For the same cause also do ye joy, and rejoice with me..

7. Philippians 2:28-29… I sent him therefore the more carefully, that, when ye see him again, ye may rejoice, and that I may be the less sorrowful. Receive him therefore in the Lord with all gladness; and hold such in reputation:

8. Philippians 3:1… Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.

9. Philippians 3:3…For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

10. Philippians 4:1… Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.

11. Philippians 4:4-5… Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men.

12. Philippians 4:10… But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.

“Better’s” in the Epistle of Hebrews

Christ (God in the flesh) - was made BETTER than Angelic hosts. Supremacy of Christ. Salvation by Grace so much better (and easier) than Salvation under Law. No contradiction in the fact that Grace was so much BETTER than the Law of Moses. BETTER hope, better relationship between God and man. BETTER Testament (New under Grace) than the Old Testament (during the Law of Moses and before). Jesus was the mediator of the New Covenant a BETTER covenant and Israel’s final sin offering. What made the New covenant BETTER was it was after a pattern established in Heaven and Christ was the prophetic Lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world. A BETTER and more vivid picture of Heaven from which Christ stepped down from when He was clothed with humanity. The BETTER resurrection was the Rapture of the Church (dead in Christ). The blood of Christ spoke pardon to every human being that accepted Christ – BETTER than the blood of Abel that spoke guilt to the human family. Unlike Levitical Law and animal sacrifice - the sacrificial offering of Jesus became the mediator of the New Covenant and blessing of the Church, the body of Christ.

1. Hebrews 1:4…Being made so much BETTER than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
2. Hebrews 6:9…But, beloved, we are persuaded BETTER things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.
3.  Hebrews 7:7…And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the BETTER.
4. Hebrews 7:19…For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a BETTER hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.
5. Hebrews 7:22…By so much was Jesus made a surety of a BETTER testament
6. Hebrews 8:6…But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a BETTER covenant, which was established upon better promises.
7. Hebrews 9:23…It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with BETTER sacrifices than these.
8. Hebrews 10:34…For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a BETTER and an enduring substance.
9. Hebrews 11:16…But now they desire a BETTER country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
10. Hebrews 11:35…Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a BETTER resurrection:
11. Hebrews 11:40…God having provided some BETTER thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.
12. Hebrews 12:24…And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh BETTER things than that of Abel.

(5) Much More’s – Roman Epistle chapter 5

· Forgiveness and cleansing from sin through faith in the sacrifice of Christ
· Great Grace - abundant Grace - Gift of righteousness - Power that morally changes man’s make-up
· Saved from Judgment and the condemnation of Hell’s damnation
· Reconciliation - united with Christ in the Spirit. Guilt freedom - sin’s dominion broken.
· The Offence of Adam result of the curse - divine nature lost - carnal nature passed into humanity
· Supremacy of Christ from the atonement of Calvary to His enthronement in Heaven
· Reign of death - Universal separation from God passed into humanity - resulting from Adam’s sin
· Law of Moses given to help man to recognize sin - showed the offence


Salvation offers forgiveness for all past sins. Salvation offers holiness of heart and conduct in this present life. The first man Adam at the Fall was a small picture if the divine nature (lost) – the second man Christ at the crucifixion made an atoning sacrifice and projects the HUGE PICTURE of God’s abundant Grace – Greater than the Law of Moses. Reason? Abundant Grace provides victory over sin’s dominion. Man struggled to keep the Law of Moses. Abundant Grace is freely given to make man a new creation - provides the believer with a clean heart and right life - results in the righteousness of God granted to the heart of a believer. Christ abolished the Law and thus took away the human struggle to achieve right standing in the eyes of God - at Calvary leaving us with these words, “It is finished”. MUCH MORE is the great picture of abundant grace projected in Romans 5. The free gift of Salvation given from Christ and so much more has replaced with magnitude - what Adam lost at the curse of the Fall.

Daniel’s 70 week prophecy

Daniel 9:24-27…*Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks*, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week*: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

70 weeks determined in Daniel’s Prophecy

7 years = 1 week

70x7 = 490 years

7 weeks = 49 years (From commandment to rebuild the wall)

Commandment to build the wall took - 46 years (John 2:20)

3 years of Christ’s earthly ministry – until Jesus entered Jerusalem on the colt of and ass

46 years + 3 years = 49 years

490 years – 49 years = 441 years

(After - Three score two weeks (62 weeks) the Messiah would be cut off= 434 years)*

441 years – 434 years = 7 years

7 years = 1 week

62 weeks + 7 weeks = 69 weeks of Daniel’s Prophecy

1 week to confirm the covenant (unfulfilled Prophecy) = 7 year Jewish Tribulation*

1 week + 7 weeks + 62 weeks = 70 weeks

70 weeks were determined

In the 490 year prophecy you had:

A 483 year prophetic picture

434 years until the rebuilding of the wall

49 years – 46 years to rebuild + 3 years of ministry until the crucifixion

7 years (1 week) unfulfilled prophecy left over – Tribulation period

Romans 6

Brighter days coming – 2021

As we prepare for 2021 – let us trust Christ to stay united. To stay focused on the one who meets our needs. Who gave us the Word to build our faith. Who answers our prayers and performs miracles in our lives. Faith in Christ keeps us conscious and will carry us through the coronavirus plague from Hell. We are a holy nation. Our security lies in the one who raised from the grave and sent us His Spirit to guide us in all truth. Glory to the Lord Jesus Christ in the New Year of 2021. Glory to His name! Brighter days coming!
