Enlightenment, Divine Revelation, and Binding and Loosing...without spiritualization

In the Kingdom Age during the ministry of our Lord many men in Israel were undecided on the fact that Christ was the son of God. Certain men were saying that he was John the Baptist; some said he was Elias; and some said he was Jeremiah. (All three mentioned were men recognized as Prophets of God.) The disciples however were questioned directly by Christ as He asked them, “But who say ye that I am?” Peter answered as he recognized the fact that Christ was more than a Prophet. Peter recognized that Christ was… the son of the living God.

• Matt 16:16…And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

Peter had a Divine Revelation from God concerning the deity of Christ. In response Jesus made an unusual statement in Matthew 16:18, “Upon this rock I will build my Church”. The subject of the Church was never spoken of by the Prophets in the Old Testament however; Jesus foretold of the Church …in Matthew 16:18. Jesus likewise stated He would be the builder of that Church.

• Matt 16:18…That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church;

The rock…the Church would be built upon was not Peter as the system of Roman Catholicism proclaims. The rock the Church is built upon is actually the person of Christ. Christ foreknew His own death and foretold that He would build His Church. New Testament Scriptures later prove the mystery of the Church was birthed through Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection.

Peter’s revelation of Christ came through enlightenment from God. Enlightenment to Christ gave Peter understanding of the will of God in the Kingdom Age. The Revelation of Christ was revealed to the heart of Peter, directly from the Father and not by flesh and blood. Peter’s acknowledgement of Christ did not come from his own… natural understanding.

• Matt 16:17…for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

In that period of time where the Kingdom message was presented to Israel, Peter understood the Messiahship of Christ and the promised Kingdom on earth. Christ thus stated in Matthew 16:19,

• Matt 16:19…And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven

In other words Christ gave Peter Kingdom authority on Earth as all men will have in the future Kingdom of Heaven. Peter had a Divine nature and a revelation of the Messiahship of Christ in his heart. Christ would never turn His Kingdom on earth over to the rule of people who do not have a divine nature. This prompted Christ to say,

• Matt 16:19…and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Peter had received Kingdom authority on Earth. Binding and loosing relates to mans authority in the Kingdom of Heaven. Divine Revelation gives man discernment between right and wrong; and good and evil. Binding and loosing is mans power to discern these things in the Kingdom of Heaven. In the future Kingdom of Heaven man will be in perfect harmony with God. Binding and loosing will be necessary in that Kingdom however; it’s not to be misinterpreted in this present Church Age. All saints in the Kingdom of Heaven will have power to declare things to be bound or loosed on Earth as they fully understand the will of God. Man will have heavenly knowledge and understand what’s lawful and unlawful on Earth as it is in Heaven. Earth at that time will be like Heaven. In the Kingdom of Heaven when God restores the earth and Christ reigns as King. Man will once again have dominion over the earth like Adam had before the fall. Remember, man was created in the image of God. When man receives the power to bind and loose in the Kingdom Age…it will also fulfill prophecy,

• Mal 3:18…Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

The Kingdom message and the Kingdom Age were taught in Matthew’s Gospel however; that message changed in the latter part of Christ’s Earthly ministry. The Church was foretold by Christ in Matthew 16:18. Why? The message of the Kingdom of Heaven which came through John the Baptist, Christ, the twelve disciples, and the seventy was the plan of God for Israel’s Kingdom on earth. Tragically, Israel rejected the Kingdom message and the King himself. Because of Israel’s rejection the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth was postponed until the 1000 year reign of Our Lord.

Matthew 16:21 unfolds another mystery of the Church as Jesus charged his disciples to tell no man from that time forth that He was the Christ. The Kingdom message to restore Israel was halted in the plan of God at that point time. Why? Israel’s rejection and unbelief caused the Kingdom message to cease through fulfillment of prophecy; and the actual Kingdom of Heaven on Earth was postponed until return of our Lord in the 1000 year reign. Jesus foreknew the Church and the beginning of a new Age as He told the disciples from that time on… that He would suffer, die, and be resurrected from the grave on the third day.

• Matt 16:20-21…Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ. From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.

In the latter part of the Lord’s ministry scriptures indicate Peter’s understanding of Christ’s death was very limited. In one breath Peter acknowledged Christ as the Messiah; in another breath Peter could not fathom the fact that Christ had to suffer, die, and rise from the grave as prophesied. Peter was limited in knowledge of what the Prophets taught concerning Christ’s death and resurrection. Peter ignorantly rebuked Christ because he lacked understanding concerning how Christ would suffer, die, and be resurrected on the third day.

• Matt 16:22…Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.

In Matthew 16:22 Peter was talking from his own understanding instead of Divine Revelation. Peter had Kingdom faith; not New Testament faith as we have today. Peter’s understanding at that time was based on what the Prophets said about the Kingdom and restoration for Israel. Peter’s knowledge was limited on what the Prophets said about the death burial and resurrection of Christ.

Human reasoning and natural understanding caused Peter’s disbelief. Peter was talking like a natural man and no longer from Divine Revelation. Jesus rebuked Peter for this cause,

• Matt 16:23…and He said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

After the death and resurrection of Christ, Divine revelation came to Peter through the truth of the Gospel according to the Prophets. The Church was birthed under the Grace Dispensation as the Law was done away with. The promised Spirit fell on the day of Pentecost and enlightened the hearts of believers with a Divine revelation of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. Peter’s understanding of Christ changed. Peter’s understanding changed from Kingdom revelation… to revelation of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ by Grace. Peter’s Epistles beautifully express his enlightenment to this Divine revelation… after the death of Christ in the Church Age.

In this present Church Age, through the truth of the Gospel the Holy Spirit continues to reveal the same person of Christ …in suffering, death, and exaltation. Divine revelation given by the Spirit of God continues today upon those who receive the truth of the Gospel message according to the Prophets. The person of Christ is revealed to the hearts of men through the blessing of the Church, the body of Christ. When people receive the person of Christ they become members of His spiritual body. Confession is thus made because of salvation in the human soul. Upon this very rock…Christ presently builds His Church from the Throneroom. This Church, the body of Christ revealed to men through the Gospel message is what Christ foretold in Matthew 16:18.

In conclusion Christ foretold that He would build His Church and the gates of Hell would not prevail against it. (Matthew 16:18) Christ now seated upon His Throne in Heaven became the head of the Church and all believers in this Grace Age became members of His spiritual body. (Col. 1:18) Christ presently adds to the Church daily. (Acts 2:47) Christ from His Throne gives gifts unto men to govern local Churches. (Eph. 4:11) Christ sets men in authority to oversee the local churches. (1 Cor.12:28) The mystery of the Church that Christ purchased with His own blood is now revealed in all the New Testament writings. (Acts 20:28)

The object of Kingdom authority...Israel. The object of Throneroom authority...the Church.

The Bible must be rightly divided to see the difference between the Kingdom message given to Israel and the Gospel message given to the Church, the body of Christ today.

In the four Gospels we see the parables being taught. In the Epistles we never see the parables being taught or even mentioned. During the Earthly ministry of Christ we take note that Christ and His disciples preached the Kingdom of Heaven message. In the Epistles we only see the Gospel of the death, burial, and resurrection being preached. In the four Gospels the Mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven are the object toward Israel. In the Epistles the mysteries of the Church are the object toward both Jew and Gentile.

So, why such a vast distinction? Why the law of Moses before the death of Christ? Why the Grace of God after the death of Christ? Why Israel? Why the Church? Here is a for instance...

During Christ's Earthly ministry He delgated authority to his disciples.

Matt 10:11... And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

These disciples were given authority by Christ...but why? They were given authority by Christ to "spread" the Kingdom of Heaven message throughout all Israel. To declare the Messiahship of Christ and establish His Kingdom on Earth. This Christ given authority would show God preparing His people for a complete restoration on planet Earth as prophesied in the Old Testament. But Israel as a complete nation "rejected" this Kingdom message and the King. Even the disciples doubted the Messiahship of Christ because of the Adamic nature. So what happened? The Kingdom of Heaven was postponed until Israel as a nation would accept the Messiahship of Christ and His Kingdom on Earth. This event will take place in the 1000 year reign of our Lord after the Rapture of the Church. Christ's parables simply showed the rejection of Israel toward the King and Israel's rejection of the message of Christ's Earthly Kingdom that was promised to be restored in Jerusalem. This is Kingdom authority not to be mixed up with Throneroom authority! Also this is a brief glimpse of Kingdom authority that Christ delegated in His earthly ministry...but what about authority in the Church...after the death and resurrection of Christ then, now, and in this present Grace Age?

Unlike the Kingdom teaching under Law...The New Testament after the death of our Saviour describes the fact that Christ has all power today in the Throneroom. A Christian's position in this present Grace Age is to realize Christ as the one in authority. Christ's authority is not delegated to us today like it was in the Kingdom Age. His authority is simply granted to believer's because of their faith and trust in Him. This is the Christian position that's taught in the records of the New Testament...in this present Grace Age. This revelation is simply the mystery of the Church.

Eph 2:4-6... But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Because of the death, resurrection, and exaltation of Christ we have the privilege to exercise faith in the authority of Christ. We (the Church) realize who Christ is, where Christ is presently, and what He's doing for all the members of His body. With the ministry of the Holy Spirit (not omnipresent in the earthly ministry of Christ to the lost sheep of Israel only) we (Jew and Gentile) both have access to the Father.

Eph 2:18...For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

It must be understood Christians have a consciousness to Christ's Divine presence. It must be understood the Holy Spirit takes Christians to the Throneroom where Christ is seated with "all power and authority". Christ from the Throneroom is exalted! Christ has all power and authority. All the Church has to do is to live with a consciousness to Christ's Divine presence in the Throneroom. Consciousness comes through belief, trust, and acceptance. Christ meets the needs of our lives, delivers us from our problems, and gives us victory over every circumstance in life.

If you want more power in your life get out of the earthly ministry of Christ under Law. Get into the Throneroom of the Grace of God where Christ is exalted with all power and authority! Exercise your faith in His authority. Exercise your faith in His presence. Be conscious to Him. Put your faith into the person of Christ where He reigns from the Throneroom...today present tense!

Remember, Christ is the builder of the Church... Mat. 16:18!
Remember, Christ purchased the Church with His own blood...Acts 20:28!
Remember, Christ is the head of the Church where He governs His body from the Throneroom...Eph. 1:22.
Remember, Christ gives gifts unto men from the Throneroom...Eph. 4:11!
Remember, Christ sets Apostles, Prophets, and teachers in the Church from the Throneroom...1 Cor. 12:28!

This is Throneroom authority where Christ controls all things not man! Throneroom authority is not to be mixed up with Kingdom authority!

This comparison between Kingdom authority taught in the four Gospels and Throneroom authority taught in the Epistles must be understood! This is rightly dividing the Holy Scriptures. Right division is necessary! Thank God we are under Grace today where we can have the constant victory in our lives... from the authority of Christ in the Thronerom. He's exalted! He's alive taking care of our needs! The devil is subject to Christ! Glory! All things must be put under His feet!

1 Cor 15:25-27...For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. For he hath put all things under his feet.

This is Throneroom authority! Glory to Christ! I'm glad we're not under Law living in the four Gospels but under Grace living in the New Testament Epistles. Glory! Rightly divide God's Word!

The limited first commission and the great commission...which one applies today?

For anyone that examines the scripture closely they will find the four Gospels contain (2) commissions given by Christ. The first commission (touched on yesterday) was limited to Israel only and it consisted the Kingdom of Heaven message that John the Baptist, Jesus himself, the 12 disciples, and the 70 carried during the Earthly ministry of our Lord under the covenant of the Law of Moses. Remember Jesus was born under law, lived under Law, and taught Law. The Grace Covenant didn't begin until His death, burial, and resurrection. Jesus purchased the Church with His own blood...Acts 20:28

The second commission (an unlimited commission) was the Gospel message according to the Prophets. The first commission and the second commission are not to be confused, mixed up, or twisted or the Holy Scriptures cannot be rightly divided. The second commission was given by Christ after the nation of Israel rejected the first commission (the limited Kingdom message to Israel only where Christ would rule and reign as the Messiah in Jerusalem). After the rejection of the Messiahship of Christ, Jesus commanded His disciples to carry the Gospel message into all the world not just to the Jew only. Mat. 28:19, Mark 16:16-20, Luke 24:44-49. Jesus Himself preached the first Gospel sermon to His disciples in Luke 24:44-49.

His first commission (the Kingdom message) changed after Israel as a nation had rejected His Messiahship and earthly reign! The Gospel message of the death, burial, and resurrection 1 Cor. 15:1-4 (the second commission) was a distinct and different message than the Kingdom of Heaven message given to Israel only. This is where the confusion comes in! People mix up these two commissions today and don't rightly divide God's Word...especially in the four Gospels. False doctrines have been formed from these misconceptions! Peoples faith by the thousands has been ripped apart for centuries as a result of these false teachings. The Gospel message (to all the world) unlike the Kingdom of Heaven message (to the Jew only) was commissioned by Christ to be taken to both Jew and Gentile which today has birthed the Church, the body of Christ we now live under. This is where the dispensation of the fullness of times began. It is called the miracle of the Church which came under the Grace Covenant.

The Grace Covenant we now live under began at the death of a Saviour. The death of the Saviour never happened until Israel first rejected the King and the message of His Kingdom! Israel rejected Christ's first commission. When Israel rejected the King the message of the Kingdom of Heaven changed to the message of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. All four Gospels indicate such when you examine them closely. When you're able to see this in the Scriptures the liberty and freedom that comes from the revelation of Divine Grace is birthed in your heart. Glory! The Spirit of God will confirm it to you!

The Church was birthed through the shed blood of Christ at Calvary. The limited first commission (to Israel only) ceased and the unlimited commission of the Gospel (to all humanity Jew and Gentile alike) began. The Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus became the Law written in the tables of our hearts. The veil was rent twain as the ministry of the Holy Spirit could now be given to all the world through the preaching of the Gospel message of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ according to the Prophets. That's what Paul, Peter, James and John taught and gave their lives for! Divine Grace now keeps the omnipresence of the Holy Spirit present in the Church. The great commission of the Gospel message was commanded by Christ to be taught in all the world. Not just to the lost sheep of Israel! That's what Jesus meant when He said, "I will be with you always".

I'd like to mention one last thing. The writers of the New Testament Epistles did not teach the Kingdom of Heaven message or the parables of Christ... and there is a reason why they didn't. The teachings of Christ, the parables, and the Kingdom of Heaven message applied to the limited first commission given to the lost sheep of Israel. These teachings were teachings according to the Law of Moses. The Jewish Apostles knew Israel rejected the King and the Kingdom that's why they didn't teach it! They had a New Testament revelation of Grace given to their hearts by the Spirit of God. They were enlightened to Divine Grace through the message of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ which was Christ's second commission...or what some call the Great Commission. Never do you see the these Apostles teaching the Kingdom of Heaven message, or the Parables. Why? Those teachings were the teachings of Christ under Law. The Apostles after the death of Christ had a new Revelation...it was called Divine Grace, the Church, the body of Christ . Being Jewish these Apostles had enlightenment to the distinction that was to be made between Law given to Isreal and Grace given to both Jew and Gentile.

More coming later on the difference between Kingdom authority from the four Gospels... and Throneroom authority from the New Testament Epistles. Why the Apostles did not teach Jesus' parables after the death of Christ. Clairification on the Kingdom of Heaven and the Kingdom of God. All this simply pertaining to right division of God's Word. God Bless you all! May the Grace of God minister truth, liberty, and freedom to all you hearts. He's exalted! Amen! Christ is exalted! He's exalted! Glory!

Did you ever wonder why Jesus gave the following command to His disciples?

Matt 10:5-8... Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

This profound passage can unfold a wealth knowledge for every student of God's Word. It puts the four Gospels into an orderly context, magnifies the truth about the Kingdom of Heaven, and unfolds great depth concerning God's Promise of restoring the land given to the Hebrew nation. Above all... Christ is magnified as our promised Messiah!

God bless you all as I look forward to this great teaching!

In order to understand this passage it's necessary to understand what the Kingdom of Heaven is. After all the Kingdom of Heaven is what Jesus is commanding His disciples to preach to the lost sheep if Israel. John the Baptist preached the Kingdom of Heaven. Jesus himself preached the Kingdom of Heaven. The Kingdom of Heaven was promised by God to Israel.

The Kingdom of Heaven was Christ's physical reign on Earth as the Promised Messiah. God's Promised Kingdom of Heaven would begin in Israel where Israel would be restored as promised in Old Testament Prophecy. Christ's reign would be an earthly and visible Kingdom and would begin in Jerusalem. The land that flowed with milk and honey promised of Old would be restored by God. Humanity would be restored morally. The plant life would be restored, the animal life would be restored, and the Garden of Eden would begin in Israel and spread throughout the world by the obedience of Israel to the law of God. Christ would rule on the throne of His father David as promised in Old Testament Prophecy. Any Jew could understand this teaching!

Why did Jesus command his disciples to preach this message to the lost sheep of Israel only? The Kingdom of Heaven was promised by God in the Law of Moses! The Kingdom of Heaven was promised by God in the Psalms! The Kingdom of Heaven was promised by God and given to the Prophets! Gentiles knew absolutely nothing about God's Prophets. Gentiles knew absolutely nothing about the Jewish Priesthood. Gentiles knew absolutely nothing about God's Promises of the Kingdom given to Israel! That's why Christ openly forbid the disciples to preach the Kingdom of Heaven message to the Gentiles. The Kingdom of Heaven was never preached to a Gentile in Jesus' day nor should it be preached to Gentiles today!

Why? First, you rob Israel of God's Old Testament Promise of restoration to the land which by the way has not been fulfilled yet. Second, you're taking the four Gospels out of their proper context given to Israel and applying these wrongly to the Church now. Thirdly, you're causing confusion in the personal study of students of God's Word which has caused many to have a shipwrecked faith years down the road in their Christian walk.

When the Gospels are put into proper context a foundation is laid (for any man) that can be built upon for a lifetime! This foundation will stand throughout life's trials! It will stand because its built by rightly dividing God's Word! There will be no confusion! There will be no frustration! There will be no spiritualization! It will fortify your faith! It will give you something to cling to everyday of your life until the Rapture of the Church or until you die and go the Heaven!

Learn it! Understand it! Rightly divide it! Build upon it! God bless you all! Ask your questions! More to come on this beautiful subject...

The Churches on Trial does not use the Bible to "entertain" the mind...

To entertain the mind with the Bible comes from mixing up, spiritualizing, and taking the Bible from its proper context. Using the Bible to entertain the mind is a very dangerous concept and can lead any convert to a frustrated faith over a period of time. Biblical entertainment of the mind offers no foundational backing, no right division, and causes future confusion for the new convert in Christ. Confusion has frustrated the faith of many new converts for centuries as the truth of the Bible is missed and the Devil has his way in the religious world.

Right division of the Word of God does not entertain the mind! The intent of the Bible is not to entertain the mind ...but to confirm the truth about Christ! Who He was in Creation..Who he was during His earthly ministry...What He done at Calvary...Who He is now...and what He's going to do in the future.

Right division of the Bible makes distinction between Law given to Israel and Grace given to the Church now. Right division makes the distinction between the Kingdom of Heaven message to Israel during Christ's earthly ministry...and the Gospel message today in the Church, the body of Christ. This kind of truth is not entertaining! It's Bible Truth and fulfillment of prophecy. Right division of the four Gospels takes out much of the modern day entertainment of the mind and gets to the core truth of the Holy Scriptures! Here's a few examples.

Right division of living holy under Grace is different than living holy under the Law of Moses! To go back to the days of Christ, under the teachings of Christ would put you under Law of Moses...because Christ taught the Law of Moses! Right division of the Word does not put the Church under the teachings of Christ...it puts the Church under the teachings of Grace now...where the Holy Spirit regenerates, sanctifies, and leads the believer in Christ. All the Epistles teach such doctrine! This is the doctrine if the New Testament! The New Testament began at the death of a Saviour. The birth, life, and ministry of Christ was under the Old Covenant of the Law of Moses. The Grace covenant had not began yet...and the Church had not been birthed yet! Many today are taught or find it entertaining to take these teachings in the four Gospels and run them into the Church Now. This kind of doctrine is dangerous and has plagued society for centuries.

When this kind of right division is brought to peoples attention...there is no entertainment to the mind, no spiritualization, or no emotionalism formed as a basis for faith. This leaves no room for confusion to seep in...that has led many to a frustrated a faith in Christ. When Scriptures are rightly divided they can be built upon for a lifetime. Heartfelt faith is built! Heartfelt Faith is grown! Heartfelt Faith is added to! Faith is not entertaining it is substance to the soul of a believer in Christ! It lasts for Eternity! It offers a relationship that has been prophetically recorded since the first Promise of a Saviour in Genesis 3:15.

There is no entertainment to the mind when confirmation is found in rightly dividing the truth. This type of confirmation is found in the heart and soul and fortified by the truth of rightly dividing the Holy Scriptures! Right division does not entertain the mind...it magnifies Christ, the Father, and the Holy Ghost in the prophetic truth of the Scriptures. Law has its place, Grace has its place. The four Gospels have their place, the New Testament has it's place. The Old Testament has its place, the New Testament has its place. The Kingdom of God has it's place the Kingdom of Heaven has its place. All have a certain place!

DON'T MIX UP THE BIBLE! IF YOU DO... IT CAN CAUSE GREAT HARM! IF YOU DON'T IT CAN BE VERY REWARDING! LEARN THE BIBLE IN ITS PROPER CONTEXT AND YOU'LL NEVER ENTERTAIN THE MIND!

There is no process in becoming a child of God...you either have salvation of the soul or your soul is lost

The mindset today is to achieve Christ by "works". These works I speak of are "religious works". These religious works are the activity of man in effort to obtain a better standing with God by his own religious actions, works, or practices. These religious activities of man are very dangerous and even cause some to miss the activity and truth about God's Divine Grace in the Church the body of Christ. God's Divine Grace is not a process "worked out" by men that call themselves Christians. A believer in Christ has a new and better life of clean living in an ungodly world because he's been changed by Divine Grace that is given through faith alone in the person of Christ. A believer in Christ is a sinful man that has been "cleansed" from a heart of disobedience and sinful conduct...through trust alone in what Christ did for him personally at Calvary.

Forgiveness of sins is granted to the penitent not because of human sorrow only. Forgiveness of sins is granted because of the fact that Christ is a Savior. When man believes and trusts in Christ, trusts in Christ at Calvary, and trusts in Christ's power from the Throneroom forgiveness is granted to the heart of man and offers Salvation to the human soul. Forgiveness is granted to the human soul because man "trusts and believes" in Christ crucified... for personal forgiveness. Christ's shed blood and the suffering of a Saviour are man's only grounds for personal forgiveness.

Acts 13:38-39... Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man (Christ) is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him (Christ) all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

There is no process for man to do any religious act... to receive forgiveness for all the past sins that were committed. There is no process to become more spiritual with God by religious works, actions, or practices. The Christian life is not a process to get more spiritual or to be gradually be delivered from sin. Studying God's Word does not make you more spiritual. Spirituality does not even come through praise and worship. People should praise and worship Christ "because" they're delivered from sin "not to be delivered from sin. Sin is not essential in the heart of a believer in Christ.

Recognizing Christ is the key to everyday Christian living. Realizing Christ as a personal Saviour is essential to the better life of holiness. Realizing who Christ is and what He did for you personally allows the conscience to be cleared from all sins of the past. Realizing who Christ is allows Christ to govern your heart and life every day of your existence on planet earth. Recognizing Christ is not a process, it comes through your personal belief and trust in Him. Realizing where you stand daily in Christ shows your subjection to a Saviour that lives. Behaving yourself as a child of God "proves" that a Saviour lives and actually changes the heart of a sinful man. Becoming a child of God is not a process of religious works but the activity of God's Divine Grace in the heart and life of a believer in Christ.

Human works and man's religious activities are stinch to the nostrils of God! Why? Human works cause men to miss the work of Christ from Calvary and from the Throneroom...now in the present tense. Religion is man's attempt to reach Christ. Christianity is where Christ is found through belief and trust. Religion is a human process. Christianity is a human experience found through faith and belief in the person of Christ. Christ is the head of the body...not you! Christ governs your heart and life because He's God. Christ purchased the Church with his own Blood. It's what Christ did at Calvary that gives you and I personal forgiveness not our own sorrow or our own works.

Titus 3:5-7...Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

When we get into the mode of part time belief...sinning religion...asking for forgiveness... and committing sin over and over again...the Bible calls this "worldly sorrow" that only brings death.

2 Cor 7:10... For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

Godly sorrow bringeth Salvation to the human soul. Why? Salvation is the work of God's Divine that gets man in the Spirit...that gives man the new birth, and that gives man a desire to quit practicing sin. What I'm saying is, "Sin is not essential in the heart and life of a child of God". Divine Grace forgives man of all past sins and rids man of sinful conduct in the present tense. A child of God's desire therefore is to "forsake" sin and sinful conduct. Divine Grace keeps the Holy Spirit present in the life of a believer in Christ. A believer in Christ is just as subject and conscious to Christ's Holy presence in the workplace as he is in the local Church. No process to get into Christ and no process to get into the Spirit. This mindset of the gradual process to reach or achieve Christ through religious works is a very dangerous deception that's rampant today in the mainstream.

I like Peter's word when the people that crucified the Lord of Glory were stirred so much by the Holy Ghost they asked, " What shall we do?" Peter responded, Repent and be baptized everyone of you for the remission of sins.

Acts 2:37-38...Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins

Sins are remitted when sinful men get into Christ! Glory to Christ! The Gospel message leads sinful men to repentance! The Gospel leads sinful men to Christ and forgiveness that only comes from a Saviour's love. The Gospel message causes men to turn from sin and disobedience. they repent, believe, and trust in Christ! The Gospel is why Rick Roehm writes these words. God Bless you all! May the Grace of God become "real" to your hearts...because God's Grace....

Titus 2:11-12...that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

Miss Charlotte Ross's funeral...12/29/2009...she's in Heaven now!

The Lord gave me a message to preach at my grandmothers funeral today. Things are different in the Roehm family since Christ came into the picture. I had the privilege to share with her before she passed that Christ had root in this family now! All praise and glory to the Christ we serve. When my mom died (2) years ago God revealed to this heart the meaning of the following verse. It explains the true meaning of life beyond the grave. I would appreciate your prayers today.

1 Cor 15:54-55...So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

The victory is Jesus and the hope of Heaven He gives to His saints. The sting of death is temporal...the glory of the grave for the saints is VICTORY in life Eternal! Glory!
